The staff make this hotel what it is, they've been super helpful with us during our stay! They let us store our bags while we cycled in Patagonia. Such a great team of people!!
I'd give more than 5stars if it was an option. The rooms are very clean, we had a bath which was so nice, my god it was so nice!!

One of the worst hotel stays I’ve ever had. The hotel only allows check-in at 3:00 pm with no flexibility at all. The room was in very poor condition, with many bed bugs, and I was given a bad room without air conditioning. It was uncomfortable and unacceptable. I would not recommend anyone to stay here. The only good thing is the central location — nothing else.

A booking was recently made at for mid-May 2026. I intent was to book in Santiago, Spain for walk 30 days and it was so excite to make reservation for the final day, but the booking was made in Santiago, Chile. A cancellation request was sent immediately, 10 min after booked. The hotel refused to cancel the booking without penalty, even with over four months' notice. Efforts to resolve the situation have been unsuccessful. At this moment, I can't do anything but to tell all travelers to be careful with this people how cruel they are. -------(Everything is changed, Santa Lucia management sent me a message as you can below. I really appreciate follow up and cancelled booking that mistake that I made)

Great location, great hotel. I stayed here my first night in Santiago and I even rebooked for another night. They were very friendly and held our luggage before & after check in time

This hotel is right in the city center, making it super convenient to visit places like Plaza de Armas, Santiago Cathedral, La Moneda Palace, and the Museum of Pre-Columbian Art—you can walk to all of them within two hours. There are also quite a few Chinese restaurants around; they're pricey, but it’s nice to get a taste of home. The hotel itself is a bit old with outdated facilities, but the rooms are spacious, and it’s perfectly fine for a night's sleep, especially given the good price. I was initially given a street-facing room which was too noisy, but the front desk was happy to switch me to a quieter one. A big shout-out to the front desk for preparing a packed breakfast for me since I had an early morning flight!

I only stayed one night and glad I did. This is just a 3 star property. The staff was kind but my room (409) was just steps away from the front desk. The bed had someone else's hair and I couldn't place my belongings in the closet as the smell of paint was extremely strong. I could deal with street noise because I was only there one night and was placed in a room overlooking the street ... Okay. But I'm PRETTY SURE the front desk person knew that on a Monday morning construction work in the building next door would resume. This was unacceptable. Really only the location is a plus. Not comfortable, not quiet for a longer relaxing stay. Thanks to the staff for holding my backpack even after I checked out so I could walk around comfortably until I had to get to the airport but I would not stay again.

Rooms were nice. can improve but the staffs were really helpful throughout our trip. they are very kind and generous. Provided us with lots of hidden gems around the area.
