🌟 Absolutely thrilled with my stay! The location is unbeatable – just a 10-15 minute walk to Tiananmen Square and super close to the subway, making it incredibly convenient for getting around and finding great food. Ms. Xiaoqing at the front desk was so warm and efficient, check-in was a breeze, and she even shared some fantastic local foodie tips. The room was spotless, the bedding was soft and comfortable...

The way trip advertises the property led me to believe I had reserved a different room to what I had. The staff were kind enough to upgrade us following the confusion. In our opinion the smallest double room is too small if you are 2 people with suitcases, the pictures make out there is more space. There was no bottled water supplied with the room which I think is unusual for china.

The hygiene was exceptional. Although the room was small, it was perfectly adequate for a trip, as I really only needed it for sleeping. The staff were very friendly. The only drawback was the incredibly small sink; water kept splashing everywhere. The toilet was also small but manageable. For this price, being so close to the Forbidden City, it's already a steal. The service from Zhang at the front desk was exceptionally warm; it really made us feel at home, fantastic! Plus, it's super convenient – just around the corner from Tiananmen Square. Highly recommend!

The location near Tiananmen Square is excellent, the environment is very clean and tidy, and the service staff are very friendly, especially Xiao Wang at the front desk who was very welcoming. A very good stay experience, thumbs up!

Decent hostel in Beijing. I stayed here in January and found the rooms slightly chilly. Not sure if they were heated or not. Cleanish with Chinese shower and western style toilet.

Upon arrival I requested a bottom bunk. The staff put me in a private room with shared bathroom. The room was small but comfortable. The mattress pads commonly used in China could be replaced. The bathroom stalls were small in size but the showers were large and the hot water was unlimited. The toilets appeared to clog regularly due to the excess paper used. Amazing hot shower. I was in a private room with two double beds because there was construction. Pleased that the moved me but my room was freezing I used both comforters. There was a kettle in the room which was nice and a TV as well, did the secret great Wall tour and really enjoyed it. Nice atmosphere for travellers and the location is very good - 5 minutes walk from Qianmen subway station and in the heart of the city.
