How should I put it? The value for money is really low. I originally booked a Deluxe Queen Room for 1000 yuan, but it was incredibly small. My second stay as I left my luggage in storage here to travel elsewhere, then returned to pick up luggage and stayed the night. This room is in a traditional quadrangle courtyard (Siheyuan), and it's very spacious, quite large actually. The only thing is that it's a bit old, and the facilities are also a bit dated. Other than that, everything else is pretty good, and the service attitude is excellent.

The location is fantastic! At the end of the hutong, you'll find the Red Star Erguotou Museum and Qianmen Street. It's only about a hundred meters from Dashilar Main Street and the Yuzhikou food area. Since it's an old courtyard house, the rooms are fully equipped, and although there's no central heating, there are electric heaters and air conditioning.

This is a charming hotel in an old building that used to be a post office. Very helpful and friendly staff. It's just off the very busy Qianmen pedestrian street with dozens of cafes, restaurants and other shops nearby. Close to Qianmen and Zhou Shi Kou metro stations and just a short walk or bike ride to Tiananmen Square or the Temple of Heaven.

Hotel is very well located near Tiananmen Square. It is about a 12 minute walk to checkpoint 7. The hutongs are very active with lots of eating and souvenir shopping. The a/c worked great. There is not lift but that is not an issue. The hotel was quiet and a has a common area that you could meet other or just relax in. Overall it is very good.

A quintessential old Beijing courtyard house! The room is small, but the location is super convenient. This hotel is well-located in Dashilan, a place with a lot of good food! The street is very busy outside, but never had a problem with noise during my stay. It was also easy to find and located near Qianmen Station. The room is always clean although the space might be limited if you have a large luggage.

The way trip advertises the property led me to believe I had reserved a different room to what I had. The staff were kind enough to upgrade us following the confusion. In our opinion the smallest double room is too small if you are 2 people with suitcases, the pictures make out there is more space. There was no bottled water supplied with the room which I think is unusual for china.
