The rooms were tidy and clean. The only downside was a temporary bad smell in the bathroom from the drains. Fortunately, the problem wasn't persistent. The staff, despite not speaking English, is very willing to help with various requests (including flag ceremony reservation), and the language barrier is overcome with digital translators. The location is perfect and convenient, and the road access...
Except for the old facilities, there is nothing wrong with it. It is very clean, but the central air conditioning in the room is not good. It does not cool at night and I almost woke up from the heat. Fortunately, it was not too hot that day. The service attitude is good, and they will organize you to watch the flag-raising ceremony. However, if you don't plan to watch the flag-raising ceremony, don...
First of all, before booking, I didn't have much hope for the hotel's facilities. It felt like an old-fashioned guesthouse. However, its location is extremely good. It's only about 100 meters away from the No. 7 security checkpoint. Here's a guide for everyone. 1. Make an appointment for the flag-raising ceremony. Make an appointment for any security checkpoint. Tell the front desk when you check in...
This time I stayed at your hotel and was very satisfied with the experience! The hotel is in the classic old cadre style, with a calm and elegant decoration, clean and tidy, giving people a down-to-earth feeling. Although it is not luxurious, it is comfortable and warm, the facilities are well maintained, the bedding is clean, and there is plenty of hot water, so it is very comfortable to stay. The...
The hotel is located near the square and Tiananmen Square. Check-in at the front desk is very convenient. Although it has been open for a while, the hotel is very convenient and the cleaning is in place. We got up at three in the morning to watch the flag-raising ceremony. The hotel manager took us to the nearby security entrance to enter. The service was very thoughtful. If you want to watch the flag...
I booked this to take my kids to watch the flag-raising ceremony during the May Day holiday. But we had to gather at 12 o'clock, which was too much for us. We had to get up at 3 o'clock to queue up by ourselves. It was a bit far from the security checkpoint, and it was not very convenient to take a taxi. I just took it as an experience.

the staff are very friendly and helful, the unit itself is quite clean and taken care of. the hotel is very close to a bunch if nice restaurants and easy to navigate.
I specifically chose a Siheyuan (courtyard house) for my trip to Beijing, and the overall experience completely exceeded my expectations. The environment and the bedding were very comfortable, and all the staff were incredibly warm and friendly. The breakfast selection was also very rich. My husband and I have already agreed that we'll book Manxin Courtyard again the next time we come to Beijing! ...
I was very satisfied with the room; it was clean and tidy. Before staying, I was worried that a siheyuan (courtyard house) might be old or that the room might have an odor. But after checking in, none of those concerns materialized. It was also very quiet. All my worries before checking in were unnecessary. Even before I walked into the hotel, a young man came out to help me with my luggage. If I have...
A very satisfying hotel stay during my trip to Beijing. The staff, both male and female, were all very nice. The hotel environment is beautiful, the location is super convenient, and the breakfast was delicious.
The service at Manxin Mansion was excellent. The front desk staff were so helpful in looking after my two elderly parents. The hotel's location is incredibly convenient for getting around. Our stay was fantastic! The complimentary photoshoot with the photographer was also great – he had a wonderful attitude and took amazing pictures. I'd definitely recommend this place to friends!
The hotel exceeded my expectations. The courtyard house is beautifully renovated and very modern internally. The breakfast is delicious and different varieties daily. I am impressed with the clean spacious room. The very helpful reception staff that is always smiling and ready to help. The sturdy umbrella provided when it's raining outside. The complementary photo sessions. The proximity to major attractions...

The room was clean and tidy, right on Qianmen Pedestrian Street, which made it super convenient for food, drinks, and entertainment. It's also not far from the subway station, so getting around was a breeze. The ladies at the hotel were all very welcoming and enthusiastic. Highly recommend!
Clean and tidy! It's a five-minute walk to the square! It's cheap and great value for money. My friends all loved it and I've already recommended it to others. It's in Dashilar Qianmen, only a 6-minute walk from the subway station, making it very convenient for getting around.
The location is very convenience, near to Qian Men & Zushikou mrt. The famous peiking duck Siji Minfu Restaurant just 1-2mins walk from hotel. But hotel don’t have elevator. Cleanliness to be improved.
Really good location hôtel ! Quite clean and just nearby Tian An Men and the Forbidden City. Plenty of restaurants and Street food along the road. I recommand !
The facilities are excellent and very clean. The hotel's location is superb, very close to the subway, making it convenient to walk everywhere. It's not noisy either. The staff service is also very good. I highly recommend staying here.
The location is very convenient, with many food options nearby. Although it is situated within the Qianmen business street, it is not directly on the main road, making the environment quieter and more peaceful. The room is small, but considering the price and location, it is reasonable and offers good value for money. Luggage storage and early check-in are also available, which is convenient for...

Hotel is very well located near Tiananmen Square. It is about a 12 minute walk to checkpoint 7. The hutongs are very active with lots of eating and souvenir shopping. The a/c worked great. There is not lift but that is not an issue. The hotel was quiet and a has a common area that you could meet other or just relax in. Overall it is very good.
Clean room with a private bathroom and two beds. It's very close to Dashilar Commercial Street and taxi stands. Plus, it's nestled in a hutong. Fantastic! 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
The hotel's location is excellent, right next to Qianmen Street, and very convenient for the subway. The front desk staff were very friendly and helped me with my luggage. The only downside was that the bedside outlet wasn't very good; my phone would often stop charging.
A quintessential old Beijing courtyard house! The room is small, but the location is super convenient. Qianmen Street is just a hundred meters walk away, making it the perfect spot for shopping, sightseeing, and enjoying local food. It was a great experience to get a taste of everyday life in old Beijing.
Best best hotel in Beijing : beautiful location, big room, amazing big bed and bedding, I had some of the best sleep ever! The hotel is in a fantastic location , just off the Main Street with two metro near by . Lots of amazing restaurants nearby too ! STAFF are very helpful and attentive, snd the hotel is super clean I didn’t want to leave ! If you go to Beijing you have to stay here .
Perfect location, clean and charming – would stay again! 🏨✨ We stayed here with our family and absolutely loved it. I didn't like the hotel as it was outdated, the room was too small, the beds weren't comfortable. But the location was nice, 2 steps from Peking Duck Siju Minfu Restaurant, on the busiest tourist street, close to Forbidden City. It was clean though. Very very basic. Almost no reception zone. Stayed in China for 9 days, it was my worst hotel experience during the trip
I was pleasantly surprised to find such an affordable and great value hotel near Tiananmen Square, considering how expensive real estate is there. The location is absolutely fantastic; it's close to everything. We could walk to all the attractions within 2 kilometers of Tiananmen Square, making it an ideal choice for families traveling with children.
Excellent Location and good service.Next time,we will be back.
Even though it's an older hotel, it's very clean. The ladies at the front desk are very welcoming and enthusiastic.
Pretty good overall. The location is great, making it very convenient for getting around, with the subway station just a short walk away. When we checked out, they even gave my child a little color-changing goose toy, which my child absolutely loved. We'd definitely stay here again on our next visit.
The location is super convenient. It's on Dashilar Street, with Deyunshe Sanqingyuan Theatre right downstairs and Tongrentang directly across the street. The rooms were very spacious, with two separate rooms and a large, comfortable bed! The location is super convenient, really close to Qianmen Street, Dashilar, and Zhushikou subway station! The night view is also beautiful!
You can't be too picky when staying near Qianmen; the facilities are definitely old, and the bathroom is basic. What you're paying for here is the location. The front desk service was good, and the young landlady was very enthusiastic!
Location is really great, most famous places, streets and local shops are pretty close. Hotel and rooms are historically identical. Need to be prepared the hotel is not provided any toiletries.
My second stay as I left my luggage in storage here to travel elsewhere, then returned to pick up luggage and stayed the night. Here the bathroom is bigger than the other room so the shower is separated from the toilet by a shower curtain...
The hotel is in a good location. Subway lines 2, 7, and 8 are nearby. There are also many restaurants, food courts, and small supermarkets in the area. The room is small, but it was fine for one person. The bedsheets and towels were clean, there was no problem with hot water, and complimentary bottled water and tea were provided in the room. The room was reasonably clean and tidy, and the service was very welcoming, making for a great first impression 😊. The transportation links here are very convenient 🚄; it's just about a 7-8 minute walk to the subway, which is really handy. The young lady at the front desk was exceptionally welcoming and spoke with a gentle, unhurried demeanor. The room was basic and clean, nothing fancy, but perfectly comfortable. If you’re planning to spend just a little time inside it’s ok because the location is pretty good, but it wasn’t really clean and one of the rooms had a strong tobacco smell when we arrived. It seems not in really good conditions overall. Nevertheless, people in reception were pretty nice every time.
Our room was very dirty, even for such a low budget hotel. The whole hotel is quite old and not very well maintained. The location is quite good but I’m not sure I would recommend such a hotel. We took the window less room, I don’t know if other rooms are of better quality.
Okay ~~ but the location is great !

The location is near some major sites and about 750 metres away from Line 1 and Line 2 metro systems. The hotel boasts an excellent location within the scenic area, offering convenient access to both the subway and taxis. The staff were incredibly warm and attentive, truly showcasing the high standards of service and quality found in the capital. The room was spotlessly clean and well-equipped. Our stay truly exceeded expectations! The room was bright, spacious, and odor-free, and the perfectly firm mattress ensured a deep, comfortable sleep. The front desk staff were incredibly friendly and patient, always ready to assist with a smile. It offers excellent value for money and is just a 3-minute walk from the subway station. The location is superb! It's right next to Subway Line 2 and Quanjude's flagship restaurant. Huguosi Snacks is just downstairs, and you can walk to the flag-raising ceremony in just ten minutes. Breakfast offers a wide variety of choices, including both hot and cold dishes. The staff were very friendly and attentive, and the room cleaning was prompt and thorough.

+Great location inside the hutong, 15 mins to metro +Friendly staff +Clean room -No wardrobe in the room If you're sightseeing and just need a place to stay overnight, this hotel is an ideal choice. Don't go straight to Qianman street - try hutong restaurants and shops instead, you will find better spots there.
The room was very clean, and the bathroom facilities and bedding were comfortable. The downsides were that breakfast was a bit basic for the price. Also, there were always people walking past the window. At night, a dripping sound was quite noisy, but if you closed the window, it got too stuffy.
I also stayed at Hanting Hotels in Guangzhou and Shanghai. But the Hanting Hotel in Beijing made me feel the most at ease, and it's very close to Tiananmen Square. I'll definitely choose your hotel again next time.

Nice and clean room, I liked it. Good location near the subway station, also tourist places are close
The location is very convenient, close to the subway station, and it is also very convenient to go to Tiananmen Square to watch the flag-raising ceremony. The hotel is also very clean. The downside is that the room is really small, which may be the case for hotels in Beijing's old city. Every inch of land is valuable.
There is no elevator. The room is clean but a bit pricey. The waiters are nice but don't help with anything. You have to go downstairs to get your food, which is inconvenient. The room is small.
The room facilities are very complete and clean, the bed is comfortable, and the surrounding environment is quiet and you can fall asleep quickly. It is next to the Hepingmen subway station and more than 1,000 meters away from Tiananmen Square. It is very convenient to walk or ride a small yellow car to watch the flag raising in the morning. Finally, I would like to thank the front desk lady for her...

I had a very pleasant stay at this Hotel. Everything was good — the room was clean, the location was convenient, and the staff were friendly and helpful. Great value for the price. I would definitely stay here again.
This hotel is well-located in Dashilan, a place with a lot of good food! The street is very busy outside, but never had a problem with noise during my stay. It was also easy to find and located near Qianmen Station. The room is always clean although the space might be limited if you have a large luggage.

Nearby, you can explore local delicacies such as the famous Beijing roasted duck and infamous fermented bean soup. You’ll also find traditional silver-making shops and plenty of souvenir stalls.
