Xiangxiang Building is not far from the subway station, but the surrounding roads are under construction with hoardings. In the room, I could hear other guests making a lot of noise in the corridor, with no one stopping them, which disturbed my rest.

This room is in a traditional quadrangle courtyard (Siheyuan), and it's very spacious, quite large actually. The only thing is that it's a bit old, and the facilities are also a bit dated. Other than that, everything else is pretty good, and the service attitude is excellent.

The location is fantastic! At the end of the hutong, you'll find the Red Star Erguotou Museum and Qianmen Street. It's only about a hundred meters from Dashilar Main Street and the Yuzhikou food area. The location of this hotel is excellent, however there are traffic issues with it being Central Beijing. The rooms are quite small, especially the bathroom areas. The cleanliness was below average. The way trip advertises the property led me to believe I had reserved a different room to what I had. The staff were kind enough to upgrade us following the confusion. In our opinion the smallest double room is too small if you are 2 people with suitcases, the pictures make out there is more space.
