The environment: This time I booked an inner-facing room. The window overlooked the ground floor restaurant, so I couldn't open it, and there was an odor in the room. The room was also smaller than before.
Facilities: Complete, and there was an air freshener in the room.
Hygiene: Clean and tidy.
Service: Warm and attentive.
This is my second time staying at this hotel, and I love it just as much as the first! The room is a bit small, but it's very clean! The service is also excellent! Most importantly, the location is fantastic – close to Tiananmen Square, and the subway station is right outside, making getting around incredibly convenient!
Whenever my family visits Beijing, we almost always choose the Xinqiao Hotel. It's right next to the subway entrance, which makes getting around super convenient. It's also very close to Tongren Hospital, just a three-minute walk away. The hotel itself is quite clean too.
Hygiene: The hygiene is excellent; the room was cleaned punctually every day, and amenities were refreshed daily during my stay.
Environment: The hotel's environment is also good, and the transportation is very convenient. The subway entrance is right outside the hotel lobby, making it super easy to get around. It's very convenient to get to Tiananmen Square and Wangfujing, and even walkable.

My friend and I stayed here for one night, and this was my second time returning to this hotel. The room was large, clean, and had a stunning view of the city. The breakfast was wonderful and varied - something for every taste.
The location is superb. It's just two metro stops to the Temple of Heaven, or you can walk there in about 30 minutes at a leisurely pace. The same distance (around 30 minutes...
The service was great, and they were very responsive to all our requests. The facilities are a bit old, but that's to be expected from an older hotel. The lighting was a bit dim, and there wasn't much they could do about it. However, it's really convenient to get around by subway and bus.

Here, Anya and Chris graciously helped me unwind from my exhaustion. It's more than just a place to rest; it's like a re-energizing station.
They offer a wonderful array of cookies, pastries, light bites, and salads at the Guest Lounge buffet tea break, which includes coffee, tea, soft drinks, fruits, desserts, cookies, and light salads.
The location is incredibly convenient, with a shopping mall...
I have to commend the hotel on the meticulous details! They provide high-quality tea bags and coffee. The shower has excellent water pressure, which is consistent and heats up instantly. These seemingly small details collectively created an extremely comfortable stay, clearly showing Anya and Chris's thoughtfulness and care.
This spacious apartment-style room, at 60 square meters, was incredibly comfortable and fantastic! The service was excellent, and the reception was very welcoming. The location is super convenient, with the subway right outside, making it easy to get anywhere. The hotel's tropical pool and the views from the room are unbeatable – every photo you take will look like it's from a magazine. Special thanks...
This is a high-spec hotel, with many international guests. The room was spacious and comfortable, and kept very clean. The facilities were new, and the linens were of good quality. The location is excellent, just a little over a 10-minute walk to Tiananmen Square. The service was top-notch; they even helped me find the 'Temple of Heaven' themed cake I really wanted, which was incredibly thoughtful
The hotel environment is great, the location is excellent and convenient for getting around, and the service is spot on. The front desk lady was so thoughtful, arranging an upgrade and bathtub disinfection in advance based on my order notes! Our room for the extended stay was cleaned immaculately. The food voucher we received allowed us to order pasta for a late-night snack, which my child loved! But...
The crystal chandeliers in the lobby were dazzling, making the check-in experience feel truly grand. Amy at the front desk was fluent in both Chinese and English, and handled issues decisively. She made my late check-out request a breeze. During my stay, she even messaged me about changes in the weather, reminding me to dress warmly. Such thoughtful service in such an elegant setting is truly rare

Everything was pretty good, and the location was convenient too! The only downside was that someone seemed to be smoking in the hallway, and the smell of smoke was very strong! I asked for the sheets to be changed because they were dirty, but when I came back, there were still oily sheets and pillows.
The hotel's location is great, with Zi Guang Yuan and Fang Zhuan Chang (restaurants) right across the street. The breakfast is good too, you can even order instant noodles. The staff are very prompt in clearing plates. You have to go downstairs to pick up your food deliveries. Also, you need to call customer service if you want to open your room window.
Every time I visit Beijing, I choose New World. The hygiene standards are met, and this time I even got an upgrade to a suite. The hotel's location is super convenient for exploring Beijing, and you can also check out many popular cafes in Qianmen and wander through the hutongs. It's a shame I overslept both days and missed breakfast.
The hotel experience was great. The room was spacious and didn't feel cramped, making for a very comfortable stay. Both the front desk and room service were warm, attentive, and responded promptly. It's located right next to a commercial district, making shopping and dining incredibly convenient. You can also walk to the Temple of Heaven and Qianmen, which makes sightseeing super easy.
Upon arrival, I received a complimentary room upgrade. The hotel's location is super convenient for visiting nearby attractions. My room was soundproofed really well, so no noise disturbed me. The only downside was a few stains on the bathroom wall tiles. Also, delivery services aren't allowed to bring food up to the room; you have to go downstairs to pick it up yourself.
This room wasn't as good as the ones I've stayed in before. The bathroom had a terrible odor, smelling strongly of sewage throughout the room while I was trying to sleep. The shower isn't enclosed, and the bathtub is awkwardly angled, making it uncomfortable. The showerhead itself wasn't great; I had to keep pressing the overhead spray for it to work.

I booked three nights here for convenience to visit the Forbidden City, Shichahai, Temple of Heaven, and Yonghe Temple. It's quite inconvenient to hail a taxi when staying within the inner ring road, as the GPS usually can't direct you straight to the hotel. Aside from that, everything else was great. The curling activity was good, and the staff were very enthusiastic, encouraging my child and providing...
Welcome fruit: A plate of mandarins.
Complimentary minibar for deluxe double room, restocked daily: Too cold to drink anything from the fridge.

This time I was in Beijing to see a performance at the Great Hall of the People, and the location of the Grand Hotel Beijing was naturally ideal. The hotel facilities are complete, the environment is elegant, and it has a rich cultural atmosphere, exuding an air of nobility and steadiness everywhere. The service is attentive, detailed, and polite, making for a comfortable and pleasant stay.
The hotel is conveniently located, within walking distance of attractions near Tiananmen Square. The staff are very welcoming and helpful, especially one of the bellhops who was particularly proactive and enthusiastic!

The hotel is located in Wangfujing, very close to the Old Palace. The hotel room is very spacious. Easily to meet people here. There are washer and dryer in the room which is great to the travelers and families. Overall the hotel is great.
The only problem is there seems some customers smoking in their rooms, although it’s a nonsmoking hotel.
Nice large room, although felt a little be dated. Location is good. Easy to get around. Breakfast good.
Great location, good sized rooms. Although configuration a bit weird with bathtub in front of TV in bedroom.hotel quite dated too
Located adjacent to Wang Fujing street and is close to metro line too. There are shopping malls in 5 to 10 mins proximity. Room service last order is at 9:30 pm and the breakfast buffet has a generous spread and from 6:30 am to 10 am except perhaps Sunday when it's upto 10:30 am. We stayed in a One BHK and it is a spacious area for dining and the washing machine doubles up as a dryer. The study gets...
Very spacious. But there were dead flies on the bed and the bath tub in the first room. Also, there was water dipping from the air-con. The staff switched and upgraded to another bigger room. Facilities are old but still clean
Enjoyed our stay at the premise . Location, room comfort, and room service are all good and breakfast is satisfactory, though the night reception needs to improve on customer service skills, except for one lady who was very helpful and decisive. She even came to my room to inform that we were given two days of complimentary breakfast. At the end of the stay, another lady came to check if we were satisfied...

Great location. Great customer service Jame is awesome Thanks
Hotel a bit dated, but that was the vibe we wanted. A taste of a past era. But breakfast was excellent with lots of choices & the location is unparalled.
The prime location of the hotel made it easily accessible and within walkable distances to many attractions. They had friendly staff members that provided exceptional service. We would like to express our deepest gratitude to Mr Jason Wang, Ms Eva Han, Ms Yulia Su and Mr Luke Wang for their help when we left a phone on a taxi and the driver was being uncooperative. They stepped in to communicate with...
Amazing hotel and service! The way we were welcomed at the hotel and assisted with every request was truly exceptional. We want to personally thank Yulia at the reception desk for the warm welcome and for making us feel so valued from the very first moment we arrived. We also want to thank Gustav for his kindness and for helping us with every request we had. Overall, the hotel offers great value for...
Our stay at Beijing NUO Wangfujing was excellent. The staffs were friendly. Shoutout to Yulia Su, who helped me to order a pair of boots and delivered to the hotel in 38 minutes (unbelievable speed) before I headed out in a raining day for my forbidden city tour. Other staffs Coolio li, James yang and sherry Shi are also super friendly and helpful. Excellent experience, I would highly recommend.
location of Hotel NUO Beijing is excellent — just a short walk to one of the city’s most important shopping streets, which makes it very convenient for exploring central Beijing. However, while I personally enjoy classic hotels, this one is in serious need of a thoughtful renovation that preserves its charm but updates the aging infrastructure. The overall condition feels quite dated: doors don’t close...

Great location, very close to Tiananmen Square. The hotel environment is also excellent! 👍
Great location, and the staff were actually quite polite. However, the bathroom facilities are really outdated; showering in the bathtub is inconvenient, and the showerhead is fixed and can't be adjusted. Also, I find some of the positive reviews here a bit hard to believe.
The facilities are outdated, and showering in the bathtub is inconvenient due to the showerhead. The bathroom fixtures are of very poor quality. This place is only capitalizing on its location; it's an embarrassment to the capital. I hope they improve it to live up to its Wangfujing location.
Good location, beside is train station and wangfujing
Staff all very kind and helpful
The location is fantastic, very close to Xiehe Hospital. Front desk staff Xiao Liu provided excellent service. I'll definitely be back next time.
I was busy storing my luggage, and the service was excellent. The front desk staff, particularly Xiao Xu, was very enthusiastic. The location is great, right next to Wangfujing Pedestrian Street. There's a Luckin Coffee and a convenience store downstairs at the hotel. I'm very satisfied. A good choice.

This hotel is the perfect choice for a stay in Beijing! The environment is so comfortable, and the views are absolutely beautiful. The courtyard is like a little garden, meticulously maintained and full of life. It's spotlessly clean, which made me feel really at ease during my stay. Overall, it's genuinely great!
This hotel in Beijing was an amazing find, such great value for money! The environment is lovely, with beautiful scenery, and the courtyard is exceptionally well-maintained, giving it a really charming feel. The hotel room wasn't large, but it was clean, tidy, and cozy. The small courtyard, adorned with flowers and greenery, created a beautiful environment. Decided to try Manxin Mansion with a 'let's see' attitude, and it turned out to be a genuine Beijing courtyard hotel. My kids absolutely loved the Little Yellow Duck family suite, so we immediately extended our stay for another four nights at the front desk.
The room was clean and odor-free, the best part being no smoke smell whatsoever.
The staff were incredibly enthusiastic. They'd spot us from...
For the first two days in Beijing, I stayed near Wangfujing Street because it was closer to the Forbidden City on foot. After three days of exploring, I was exhausted and really wanted to experience a traditional courtyard hotel, so I chose Manxin Mansion. And it certainly didn't disappoint! It's very close to Qianmen Street, which was super convenient for evening strolls, grabbing food, and buying...
The environment is great, you can really feel the courtyard atmosphere. The exterior is antique, but the interior facilities are very modern, and the hygiene is excellent. The front desk service was good, and the breakfast, though not extensive, was exquisite. There's a taxi stand right outside the hutong, and dining options nearby are convenient. It's a moderate distance to tourist attractions, so...
It was simply fabulous. The staff were fantastic and the location couldn’t be better. Couldn’t have asked for more . If back in Beijing I am definitely staying here again
How should I put it? The value for money is really low. I originally booked a Deluxe Queen Room for 1000 yuan, but it was incredibly small. It only had a 1.5-meter bed, and the space was so cramped I doubt I could even fully open my luggage. I ended up paying extra to upgrade to a King Room with a 1.8-meter bed. Regardless, the space remained very tight.
The hotel's service itself was excellent. The...
Location is perfect, right at qianmen and a short walk to Dashilar. It is also convenient to most attractions in Beijing.
The hotel is still clean from 2022 to now. I stayed for 18 consecutive nights and got a free upgrade. I stayed on the 4th floor with a bay window and decent wifi speed. The room can accommodate 2-3 luggages and is cleaned every day. The supplies are also fully replenished. The only thing is that there is a little odor in the shower area every day. The hotel offers free washing machines and dryers....
This is my first time staying at this Hanting Hotel. I am very satisfied with the overall experience! The location is excellent. It only takes 10 minutes to walk to the north gate of the Temple of Heaven. There are also subway lines 5 and 7 nearby, which are very convenient to the Forbidden City and Wangfujing. The hotel is decorated in a simple and modern style. The lobby is bright and clean. The...
The room was very clean, the auntie cleaned the room diligently, and sent two breakfasts, which was very good. It is also very close to the Temple of Heaven, about 500 meters away, and you can walk there. I look forward to staying here next time.
The location is within the Second Ring Road, 15 minutes away from Zhushikou and Qiaowan Station. There are not many restaurants nearby, so you can eat in the downtown area and then take a taxi or subway back. The room is relatively small but new and clean. For this price, the CP value is very good.
The experience was very good!! The decoration is relatively new and very clean! Auntie helped to make the bed every day, and the water and daily necessities were replenished every day!! It was really comfortable to come back after a tiring day to see the room clean and ironed! Especially this time I accidentally dym stained the bed sheets, I am very grateful to the auntie who came to help deal with...
I didn't notice that I chose a room without windows when booking. After checking, the front desk said that the room had no windows and I had to walk up several stairs to the bed. However, the front desk had already taken my ID to input the information (I've read other reviews and guessed it was...

Having been to 3 other hotels in Beijing and Zibo, this was the one whose staff could communicate...
Nice decent hotel in good location near MRT station and surrounded by shopping malls with lots of dining options. Hotel buffet breakfast available at RMB50 although spread is not too fancy but for the price is reasonable. Room is clean but furnishing is abit dated. Staff service is good and polite. Overall a good and pleasant stay.
We really enjoyed our stay at Tongpai. Near metro, just across the street. The metro also connects to a shopping center across the hotel. Good location, easy to go anywhere. Although it was rather cold in April, the room temperature was just right. All basic...
Excellent location clean and comfortable hotel. The decor and furniture needed to updates to get higher standard. Very nice hotel (but not mew) spacious room. Very good breakfast. If you go to PEK airport with heavy baggage use metro line 5 exit F and switch to fast airport line. Cleaner and more comfortable than I expected. The location was easy to find, and you could order coffee at the front desk, which added a nice, cozy, and slightly chic touch. It was also very convenient for getting around. Excellent value for money, I highly recommend it!
Stayed in hostel bunk beds. Charming lobby and venue. Close to the Forbidden City. The bathrooms were really dated. Bring your own shampoo. Really warm and cosy.
Perfect location for a trip solo! The staff was very nice, expecially in the morning the girl at the reception, she speaks and she makes an amazing coffee with milk!
The location is close to the main attractions of the city. Thanks a lot :)
It was fine, good for the price. Toilet and shower were dirty so I avoided at all costs… plus it was the noisiest hostel I’ve ever been in, people phoning at 3am?? But that’s not the hostels fault haha. Decently located, not next to anything but a short walk to metro or wangfujing. Good heating system too
