Had stayed at somerset recently with my family of 10. Studio Premier was very spacious. It is of walking distance to the jiefangbei area, especially 八一小吃街 (less than 30min) but u will need to figure out which stairs/ paid-public escalator to take. The paid public escalator is about 1cny/pax via epayment.
All rooms seem to come with washer and dryer.
They have a robot to deliver your meituans to your room. Room cleanliness was okay but you could see the stubborn stains at places. Toiletries are provided, including hair conditioner. It is rather near eateries and its a 30min walk to chaotianmen/ raffles city if you are keen to catch the drone show there. Staff were very amiable and they really help you recieve and manage your taobaos. There are also lockers at the backyard next to the control room in the event your delivery landed there. Do note that the locker charges for later retrieval, u can pay it off with alipay etc. i took 3/4 days and had to pay 6rmb if i remember correctly.
I had to check out at 4am but staff was able prepack some breakfast for us as requested by my guide. I am not too sure how near is the light rail to hotel but overall i recommend somerset if you are coming to chongqing:)

Views from the room are nice ,can see the harbours and the yangtze river. Swimming pool is good.Breakfast was alright.

I've stayed at this apartment hotel multiple times. The gym and pool downstairs are quite good. The hotel's location is very convenient for getting around, and it's easy to catch a taxi to various attractions. In particular, places like Chaotianmen, Jiefangbei, the 18th Staircase (18 Ti), and Hongyadong are all within walking distance.

The hotel room was cozy, comfortable, and elegantly furnished, with clean and hygienic facilities. The location is absolutely fantastic; step out of the lobby, and you're greeted by a stunning river view. Situated in the historic Baixiang Street district, you're surrounded by great food and cultural experiences. Getting around is super convenient, as it's close to both Shancheng Lane and Chaotianmen. Breakfast was plentiful, and parking was easy.

This hotel offers great value for money. The rooms are quite spacious, making it ideal for families. The Yangtze River view is really pleasant, and it's also conveniently located close to various attractions. It was an excellent choice for our Chinese New Year holiday trip.

Staying at this hotel with the whole family was incredibly convenient. Chongqing is truly a fantastic city, and we were so lucky to find such a great hotel. Highly recommend it!

The location is quite convenient. During the Chinese New Year, it allowed us to avoid the most crowded attractions while still being close enough to walk to Hongyadong. It's perfect for a family trip. Drinking water was continuously supplied during our stay, and the room view was fantastic, offering great river views. The kitchen facilities were complete, and we also enjoyed the pool. I hope we'll have another chance to stay here with the whole family next time.

The hotel's location is absolutely fantastic! It's right opposite the Twin Towers, offering expansive views and beautiful scenery, especially at night. Behind the hotel is the White Elephant Street area, making it super convenient to get to Shibati as well.

The hotel pool was the biggest surprise of our trip to Chongqing! It has three floor-to-ceiling glass walls and a translucent ceiling, making it incredibly bright and airy. We'd go out sightseeing in the morning, come back for an afternoon nap, and then the kids would have a blast swimming and playing in the water! 🏊♂️🏊♂️🏊♂️🏊♂️🏊♂️

Overall, my stay was quite good. The hotel is situated along the Yangtze River in the Baixiang district, making it very convenient for reaching popular attractions like Chaotianmen, Jiefangbei, and the Mountain City Trail. The apartment was well-equipped with a washer-dryer combo, a four-burner induction hob, microwave, oven, refrigerator, and all the necessary pots and pans. The only downsides were the TV experience – it only had analog channels, which was a bit of a letdown – and the room's soundproofing could have been better.
