Crowne Plaza Foshan Nanhai By IHG in Guangzhou

1. I booked a check-in before 3 PM, but when I arrived at 5 PM, there was no room available. However, the hotel did a good job of trying to calm my child down, which was a plus.
2. We're a family, and we booked a twin room. The room we were given was next to a ventilation shaft, and every time we entered, we had to get used to a strong smell of smoke. We eventually couldn't stand it, so housekeeping brought an air purifier. We clearly stated we needed a non-smoking room when we booked, but we had to repeatedly breathe in secondhand mixed smoke.
3. Breakfast seating was very scarce; most of the time was spent looking for a table. The hotel told us to go to the lounge for breakfast, but the chairs were wet from rain and hadn't been cleaned. We had to find tissues ourselves to wipe them down. There was no service at all; they didn't offer tissues or cutlery. We had to shout for everything. Breakfast mainly consisted of carbs and vegetables; the only protein was eggs. The actual quality wasn't as good as Atour, although there was a wider variety.
4. The hotel's so-called shuttle to Florentia Village was never available. I asked several times, and either they said it was raining and not suitable for an outdoor mall, or that there was no arrangement.
5. The swimming rings in the pool are not for guest use; you have to buy your own, and there's no inflation service provided.
6. For a supposed 'family-friendly' hotel, they don't proactively provide toothbrushes or slippers for children. You only get them if you call and ask; otherwise, there's nothing.

The overall hotel experience was very pleasant. The staff were gentle, attentive, and appropriately enthusiastic, making interactions feel very comfortable. The hotel was clean and tidy throughout, meticulously maintained. The room was spacious and comfortably furnished, making for a relaxing stay. The entire atmosphere was quiet and elegant, perfect for a vacation retreat. It was a delightful stay.

Customer service representatives Vicky and Lucy were excellent! The room was great, clean, and spacious. Plus, they provided plenty of baby supplies. When my child hurt their foot, they immediately brought us iodine swabs. They even arranged for an early check-in. As a family-friendly hotel, it's very convenient and has everything you need.

The environment is great, the room has a fantastic view, and it's well-equipped. Plus, the food is quite good.

The hotel's overall environment is excellent, and they even offer free shuttle services to the South Station and nearby towns. Right downstairs is a pretty large park. Lucy, Selena, and Jade provided enthusiastic service throughout our stay.

The room was excellent, very clean and hygienic, and the surrounding environment was also great. The front desk staff had a wonderful attitude. Everything was really good, and the buffet had a good variety of options. I'll definitely come back again.

The room was spacious and clean. All the staff were very friendly and helpful. It was quite convenient that they offer a shuttle service to Guangzhou South Railway Station at several time slots. Overall, a very pleasant stay.

Booked two deluxe twin rooms for two nights for a family spring trip. The hotel really captures Foshan's spirit with Wing Chun-themed murals and lion dance decorations. It's also super close to Guangzhou South Station, making it easy to hop on the high-speed rail to Shunde. The rooms were clean and tidy with great views. The breakfast buffet had a wide variety of options. A special shout-out to the concierge who proactively helped arrange a car to the station – much appreciated!

This hotel is fantastic and lives up to the Intercontinental brand, especially the server Liu Yuting. She's incredibly warm and responsive to guests' needs and questions – a truly excellent employee. The hotel's breakfast is superb; even during the bustling Chinese New Year, they didn't cut any corners. There's a wide variety of dishes to choose from, all delicious with very fresh ingredients. Dining there each day was a real treat. Room service during our stay was also top-notch. Overall, I'm very satisfied.
