Good hotel but no body speak english.

Superb room, with very thorough housekeeping service. Fantastic views across the bay, though a bit of an uphill trek from the beach. Varied and high quality breakfast. Staff throughout the hotel are very attentive.

Good location, modern room with sea views, great customer service, highly recommended.

For our last two nights in Sanya, we chose the voco hotel. The hotel is very new overall, and the attention to detail in the service was excellent. Since my curling iron didn't fit the outlets, the staff even helped me find a plug adapter. A special shout-out to our butler, Alice, who was constantly helping to communicate our needs.

The sea view room offered a very nice view, and the hotel's location is also fantastic. Ordering takeout was super convenient, with robots delivering food straight to our room. Overall, a five-star review!

Traveling to Sanya with my family, we chose Voco, and from the moment we arrived, we weren't disappointed – it actually exceeded our expectations. Bill at check-in was incredibly patient, recommending local eateries and sightseeing routes. The room he arranged for us was a pleasant surprise; the boundless ocean seamlessly merged with the sky, and we thoroughly enjoyed the tranquility from the balcony. The room itself was clean and bright, with comfortable and soft bedding. Breakfast offered a diverse spread, with a full range of hot dishes, cold dishes, desserts, coffee, and milk. The ingredients were fresh, and the taste was excellent. The hotel facilities were also impressive. The self-service laundry room was very convenient, and the pool water was clean and clear. You could even enjoy afternoon tea by the pool, making it a perfect spot to savor life. What truly stood out, however, was the hotel's service. From the moment we walked in until our departure, every staff member was warm, attentive, and always willing to help. The value for money is exceptional, far exceeding our expectations. If I have the chance to visit Sanya again, I will definitely choose this place. It's truly excellent and highly recommended.

Booked this last minute yesterday because I've stayed at a Voco before in Qiandao Lake and generally trust the InterContinental brand. Didn't look too closely, just booked it, and it exceeded my expectations! Arrived past midnight, and the lovely front desk staff, Xiao Hong, upgraded us to a suite. When we extended our stay, there were no rooms available, but she went above and beyond to help us find a solution. The water at Dadonghai is much better than Sanya Bay or Yalong Bay, almost reminiscent of the two-tone seas in the Maldives.

My stay was really quite average. Let's start with the positives: the facilities are new, and the hygiene is pretty good. Now for the negatives:
1. The staff rarely greeted guests, which made it feel less welcoming.
2. I've almost never seen a 5-star hotel charge an extra 5 yuan for a bottle of water (there were only 4 small bottles in the room). Seriously, for a family of three, are 4 small bottles enough? The butler even told me he could send two more if it wasn't enough. We're staying in a 5-star hotel; do we really care about the 2 yuan cost of those two bottles?
3. I was traveling with an 11-year-old child and asked the butler if my child's breakfast could be complimentary. I was told hotel policy is strict, so it couldn't be waived. Fine, I asked for half-price, which was 88 yuan. They said it was a very rich spread, but it was absolutely ridiculous. The hotel breakfast was basically terrible. I've stayed in Yalong Bay and Haitang Bay recently, and even the worst hotel breakfast there was miles better than this one. I won't go into other details, but I rarely leave reviews.

Out of many hotels, I chose VOCO, and the room was great. Since I was celebrating my birthday, they thoughtfully sent a birthday cake. The pool was also very clean, and it's very close to Dadonghai Scenic Area, so you can watch the sunrise in the morning. Oh, and there's also a private butler service – big shoutout to Lily for her prompt responses!

Our stay at Sanya Banshan Seaview VOCO was fantastic! The breakfast was delicious, and the sea view was great. Our butler, Lily, was very attentive and thoughtful. Overall, the accommodation was comfortable and relaxing – a truly memorable vacation experience. Highly recommend!
