Sanya IPK Backpackers Hostel in Sanya

Very clean, friendly staff and reasonably priced. Great location next to a nice beach. Wifi doesn't always work.

I recently stayed at Sanya Backpackers Hostel. It was my first time in China and as I was not familiar with the area, I did not know what to expect when I arrived? I have to say that when I arrived at the hostel it was 3:30 am I was worried that I would not be able to check in as previously scheduled.
After a few minutes of walking around the facility looking for a place to rest my head until morning so I could check in. I was surprised by one of the employees when she opened the door and allowed me to check in to the hostel. This was a simple task and off I went to my room with a sigh of relief.

My room was clean and the bed very comfortable. I had a washroom, fresh linen as well as my own locker and personal reading light as well as a privacy curtain so I could have as much privacy as I wanted.

The next day when I woke up I was greeted by the rest of the staff and given a tour of the facility. It was very refreshing to see that the hostel was very well organized and everyone very welcoming.
It is in a great location in Sanya. Only 5 minute walk to the beach, which is very nice. There was a fully operational bar where I could get some beverages of my choice. From alcohol of all sorts to juice or pop. Water and beer, local and imported. All at a very economical price so that was a bonus.
There is pool and darts and a great atmosphere with music and kereoke so if you want to do some singing and perhaps get discovered that is the place to be.
You can also rent beach umbrellas, and water toys as well as scooters. The staff is awesome and friendly, helpful and always working hard to make sure your stay is one you will want to remember just ask!

All in all this is the best hostel in Sanya. check it out on your next trip to China you will be glad you did.

Awesome hostel for teenagers, good hostel for anyone else. Pool table, skateboarding ramp, pretty nice breakfast, kinda alright bar prices, close distance to the beach, nice looking outside, comfortable beds. An enjoyable stay for a small price

Cute little hostel. I like that they require you to take your shoes off before going in. Helps keep the place clean.

I volunteered there in January 2021. Lovely place, it was very to make friends there. The bed were clean; the washroom sometimes is ok; overall, it’s one of the best hostels in Sanya. Plus I also met the love of my life there, so an extra star for that.

I recently stayed for three nights in a private room at this hostel, and overall, it was a pleasant experience. The bed was surprisingly comfy, which is a big plus for a hostel! The location is fantastic—just a few minutes' walk to the beach, making it easy to enjoy the sun and surf. The hostel features an onsite café/restaurant that serves western food; however, the dining area is outdoor seating only, and many guests smoke in the vicinity. It would be great if the hostel could provide a non-smoking eating area, especially since there’s no option to eat inside. I arrived after midnight and had to contact the hostel to be added on WeChat for my check-in, as the front desk isn’t open 24/7, so it’s something to keep in mind for late arrivals. The shower facilities were good, with complimentary shampoo and shower gel provided, but I noticed there was no hand soap at the sinks, which would have been a nice touch. The hostel also offers a washing machine and dryer for an extra fee, which is convenient for longer stays. During my time there, I spent my days at the beach and had a fantastic time at the Atlantis water park, which I highly recommend! Overall, this hostel is a solid choice for anyone looking for comfort and convenience near the beach, though some improvements in the dining area and check-in process would enhance the experience.

Good Hostel, great location to the beach.
There is a nice area to sit outside and meet people.

You can find all the services. I like the policy of the hostel to keep it clean. The common area is a good place to get to know the people there and make new friends. (Be careful of mosquitoes at night tho)

Best hostel in Sanya, it’s my second time here. Highly recommended
