Changzhou Marriott Hotel in Changzhou

Great hotel. Very modern with fantastic breakfast and service. Rooms infrastructure is amazing. Did not use gym or swimming pool but they look pretty good.
Location is good as well in a walking distance to markets and bars.
Recommended.

First time in Changzhou, and I'm really happy I chose the Marriott. It's a landmark building, and the facilities are still quite new overall. The staff are warm and attentive, and the breakfast has a great selection. The room was clean, and watching the city lights twinkle at night from my room was beautiful.

The lobby of Changzhou Marriott Hotel is quite grand, and all the rooms are on higher floors, offering nice views. The twin beds are a spacious 1.4 meters wide. However, the rooms lack windows, and the central air conditioning doesn't allow temperature adjustment, leading to poor air circulation which triggered my cough and allergies.
Breakfast was just average, nothing particularly memorable. The dinner set menu at the restaurant offered good value for money, and the overall service was excellent! The location is great, within walking distance to Poly Grand Theatre for shows.

Had a good experience. The hotel is clean, the service is good. Met my needs.

The building itself it very pretty and has wonderful views. Locations is good, being a fairly easy walk to a number of eateries, a mall, the local museum, etc. Interior is a bit dated, with that over the top gaudy style, but everything is clean and comfortable.
The executive lounge is huge, and comfortable. Evening food is very mediocre and barely luke warm, but drinks are nice and it is a pleasant place to sit. Afternoon tea is well done with more variety than most. Sara and Ella, lounge managers, are super sweet.
The pool is kind of sad.
The onsite Italian restaurant is incredibly over priced.

I highly recommend dinner at the nearby dumpling place......turn right out of the hotel, cross one street and go two doors past the 7-11. Delicious dumplings. A plate of dumplings and a soda runs about 2.50 euro.

If you have Wechat this hotel lets you sign into the internet with that and then the internet works so much better than I have veer had at any other hotel in China!

There are no English TV channels. Not even CNN or BBC International.

The personell was very friendly. Near to the hotel we found a nice Japanese restaurant with great food.

Conveniently located hotel. Adequate western type food. Only one English TV channel ☹️. I would stay at this hotel again. Starbucks and many restaurants close by. Service good but staff English so so.

nice and clean, good service, not as many facilities as I would expect form this brand, however it is getting too old ... needs a renovation.

It's not my first time to stay at this Hotel. I like it very much. The accomodation and service is perfect, the room is large with a beautiful view of the city, everything you need for a good rest is included. The choice of food is large and tasty. Swimming pool and gym is available as well. The staff is helpful and nice.
