Wangfu Jinke Grand Hotel in Suzhou

All the staffs are friendly, courteous, and eager to help. Our room is spacious and cleaned, but i feel hot and stuffy in there. So I went down to the front desk and see if i could change to another room. The staff was very accommodating and tried to find me another room. But in the process of doing it, the staff explained to us all the room is pretty much the same temperature because it was the changing season, the AC is changing from cold to warm mode. The hotel manager and staffs are very accommodating to let us cancel the next two nights and have someone bring us a fan to cool down the room.

The room was clean, and the breakfast was acceptable by Su Five Diamonds standards. There were two people on site making the food, and some of the fried potatoes, got a little cold after being left out of the pot for a long time. We hope to increase the staff and improve the quality so as to attract guests and give them a better experience.

It's 60 square meters, really big, awesome, and I give it a full five points. Due to time constraints, I didn't take any photos of the interior, only a photo of the lobby.

I always stay at this hotel when I go to Suzhou, and it's always the same! I look forward to upgrading my room type next time I come. 😆 I also hope that some of the rooms can be renovated to keep up with the times. I like the simple and modern decoration, but whether to change it or not is still up to the hotel management to decide. 😜

The lobby is large and the environment is great. The front desk service is especially excellent! The hotel's facilities are very complete, with a beautiful swimming pool and gym, providing excellent options for both leisure and exercise. The hotel's environment is also very quiet, allowing me to relax and unwind. The hotel is very convenient for transportation, and the room facilities are very good. The room was very clean and tidy, and the mattress was very soft and comfortable.

Staying with our kids at the Suzhou Wangfu Jinke Hotel was a perfect experience! The hotel was clean and tidy, and every corner of the room was spotless, allowing the kids to play freely, giving us, as parents, complete peace of mind.

As for the surroundings, the hotel is surrounded by beautiful greenery, creating a tranquil and relaxing atmosphere, tucked away from the hustle and bustle, making it a perfect place for a relaxing family outing. Regarding amenities, the superior king-size bed in the hotel room was comfortable, with just the right amount of firmness, allowing the kids to sleep soundly. The bathroom also had plenty of hot water, and the toiletries were high-quality, with meticulous attention to detail.

The service was excellent! From the friendly and efficient check-in process at the front desk to the prompt response to any requests we had during our stay, the staff also offered thoughtful tips for family outings, including nearby places to go for walks. It felt warm and professional.

The breakfast was plentiful, with a variety of options, including snacks and porridge for the kids, as well as special dishes for adults, all delicious. Overall, the hotel exceeded expectations, both in terms of amenities and functionality. It's a true treasure trove of family hotels. I'll definitely choose this hotel again when visiting Suzhou and recommend it to friends traveling with children.

Pros: Large room, convenience store downstairs, outdoor pool
Cons: The shower and toilet share a door, which didn't close properly. The shower flooded the room during a shower, and I spent the entire night mopping the bathroom. Absolutely terrible experience.

Really enjoyed the outdoor pool at this location. While the kiddies were squealling and splashing in the indoor pool, I all but had the outdoor one to myself. As the lazy ginger yard cat strolled past, I did my mermaid impressions unhindered by any other presence. The room was huge, with a delightful balcony, nice bathroom with bath tub! Easy Didi ride to Pingjian Rd area, and railway station. Definitely going back to this one. Some food options inhouse and nearby. The staff were lovely too.

Very good hotel for staying at Suzhou, the breakfast is very delicious and the hotel room is clean, tidy and comfortable.
