Although the room was a bit old, it was well-maintained. I was quite satisfied with the room; it was quiet, and the butler service was excellent. The breakfast was also quite diverse, and the surrounding environment was peaceful.

Our villa had a king-size bed and a terrace right by the water. The room was spacious and well-designed, with all the amenities we needed. Elld at the front desk was always asking if we needed anything, and Chen Liang, the shuttle driver, was so thoughtful. He noticed I had a bit of trouble getting in and out of the shuttle and immediately offered me a footstool, which was really touching. The staff at the Chinese restaurant recommended a set menu that was delicious and generous; they even helped us pack up the leftovers to take back to our room and heated them up for us later that evening. They truly go above and beyond for their guests.

The hotel boasts stunning surroundings and excellent facilities for families with children. From the kids' club to the adorable pet feeding, my child had an absolute blast! Our butler, Ella, was incredibly warm and professional, showing thoughtful attention to every detail. This is definitely the top choice for a family getaway around the Jiangsu-Zhejiang-Shanghai region!

The environment is good and breakfast is decent. The staff are quite professional, though sometimes they're hard to find when they step away from their posts, which leads to delays in getting items delivered. I think this is an area that needs improvement in the future.

The hotel environment is fantastic. The rooms are spacious and clean, and there are tons of family-friendly activities, plus leisure facilities like a pool, hot springs, and a spa. Beyond the hotel itself, there's direct access to a sports park with a large lawn that's just as stunning as anything you'd find in Xinjiang. From the park, you can walk straight to the edge of Taihu Lake, perfect for setting up a tent or picnic blanket and relaxing by the water.

Facilities: The overall layout is quite good, with excellent greenery and ample space. It's lovely to take a walk along the lake. The Taihu Lake view and water quality are decent.
Hygiene: The public areas could use some improvement; it seems there isn't a dedicated cleaner for them. However, the room's hygiene was quite good.

Hot Springs: Soaking in the hot springs at night was great because you can't see much. During the day, they were closed in the morning due to a lawn wedding happening outside.

Traveling with my family, my mom has some mobility issues, and the hotel's breakfast area is in a separate building, requiring a shuttle, which was a bit inconvenient. The hotel is divided into a main building, a lake-view building, and villas. Rooms with 'villa' in their name are further away and also require a shuttle, probably because the hotel is quite large. Another thing to note is that all twin rooms in the main building are on the ground floor and don't have lake views, which was quite a surprising design choice.

We booked a large suite and several king/twin rooms for a gathering with friends. The hotel kindly provided a dining table and chairs, along with plates, in the suite, which allowed us to host a wonderful birthday party on the suite's terrace. The attached photos are of the suite.

This hotel has the same stately, sophisticated vibe as Shanghai's Dongjiao and Xijiao State Guesthouses. Strolling along Taihu Lake with the spring breeze was delightful. The most memorable part was Suzhou's S-shaped bay. I hope to have the chance to visit again.
