Decided last minute to take the kids to Suzhou, and after a lot of searching, I settled on the Hilton. Although it was pricey, the service, environment, and facilities lived up to the big brand name. The breakfast had a great variety, and the hotel's pool, gym, and other amenities were all excellent.

The room was spacious and spotless, equipped with a large fridge, induction cooker, and microwave. There are plenty of restaurants and snack bars nearby, plus a gym. It's right next to the subway station, making it incredibly convenient to get around, with direct access to Suzhou Center, Pingjiang Road, and more.

We booked this hotel because it was close to where my child had a competition, which was very convenient. The room overall was pretty good – clean and with excellent soundproofing; you could barely hear any noise from outside. The breakfast was also quite substantial. The room was very clean and tidy, and the environment was exceptionally good. It's right by Tongli Lake. The hotel itself is a Suzhou-style garden, and it's beautiful to walk around in spring. The photography service they partnered with was also excellent.

The newly renovated Tongli Lake Hotel is truly a breath of fresh air (I've stayed here before). From the front desk staff to the service personnel, everyone was courteous and polite, embodying the service standards of a five-star hotel. The breakfast is rich and highly recommended!

The environment is beautiful, the rooms are clean, and the service is excellent, making you feel right at home. I look forward to staying here again next time I have the chance.

Absolutely amazing!!!!!! The location is superb, and the front desk service is top-notch. They even upgraded us to a lake view room when one was available, which was absolutely stunning!! After staying here, I'm already planning my vacation for next year to come back! Truly breathtaking. If you're coming to Suzhou, especially to Jinji Lake, the InterContinental is definitely worth it!

My friend and I had a wonderful stay at this hotel. Friendly staff and the food for breakfast was delicious. We can’t wait to stay again.

Although this hotel is very high end there were a few things that I did not think was very good. Firstly, the level of English at the front desk was less than many other less expensive hotels. There was no soap bar in my room to wash hands when I arrived. There was a small rainstorm the night I was there and the noise on the window was too loud. The lobby looks beautiful (see photo).

Nice room, comfortable, friendly staff yet not really trained at the expected level for such type of hotel. It feels a lot of cost control is going on. A bit disappointing.

Without a doubt, this is the worst five-star hotel I've ever stayed in. The rooms and facilities are old and run-down. Everything from the walls to the elevators and the room fixtures was filthy. The weirdest thing is there's no proper shower in the room, just a bathtub. If you want to shower, you have to stand inside the tub and use a handheld sprayer. The room was clean, and the breakfast was acceptable by Su Five Diamonds standards. There were two people on site making the food, and some of the fried potatoes, got a little cold after being left out of the pot for a long time. We hope to increase the staff and improve the quality so as to attract guests and give them a better experience.

It's 60 square meters, really big, awesome, and I give it a full five points. Due to time constraints, I didn't take any photos of the interior, only a photo of the lobby.

I always stay at this hotel when I go to Suzhou, and it's always the same! I look forward to upgrading my room type next time I come. 😆 I also hope that some of the rooms can be renovated to keep up with the times. I like the simple and modern decoration, but whether to change it or not is still up to the hotel management to decide. 😜

My experience at the HUALUXE Suzhou Bay Hot Spring Resort was absolutely perfect! As an IHG property, the quality is consistently excellent. The new Chinese-style design is elegant and grand, with the lobby and public areas showcasing beautiful Oriental aesthetics throughout. The room was spacious and clean, the bedding comfortable, and the soundproofing was excellent. Opening the window revealed stunning...

A delightful surprise! I found this hotel because I was planning to visit the Wangyan Hot Springs. We booked a twin room with a private hot tub on the balcony, and it was huge with super fast water filling. The mattress was just right, not too soft, not too hard. Breakfast was good, except for the pastries. The hotel offers a shuttle service to the hot springs and you can also rent electric scooters...
