Suzhou, 275 Suzhou Avenue East Industrial Park (10 km from centre) 🧭 Map
Decided last minute to take the kids to Suzhou, and after a lot of searching, I settled on the Hilton. Although it was pricey, the service, environment, and facilities lived up to the big brand name. The breakfast had a great variety, and the hotel's pool, gym, and other amenities were all excellent.
The room was spacious and spotless, equipped with a large fridge, induction cooker, and microwave. There are plenty of restaurants and snack bars nearby, plus a gym. It's right next to the subway station, making it incredibly convenient to get around, with direct access to Suzhou Center, Pingjiang Road, and more.
We booked this hotel because it was close to where my child had a competition, which was very convenient. The room overall was pretty good – clean and with excellent soundproofing; you could barely hear any noise from outside. The breakfast was also quite substantial. After checking out, we were even given a parking voucher for the underground parking garage. Overall, I was quite satisfied with the...
I came to Suzhou for Liu Yuxin's Xanadu concert, and the hotel was very conveniently located near the Olympic Sports Center. The front desk upgraded me to a one-bedroom suite, which was very spacious with excellent facilities. The concierge staff were also very helpful.
I was a bit worried after seeing a few negative reviews before arriving, but everything went smoothly from the moment I checked in. The hotel environment is top-notch, and the staff are very welcoming. I was traveling with my child this time, so I chose a one-bedroom suite. The room was on the other side of the hotel, part of the extended stay section, and it was incredibly quiet and spacious. I was...
I came to Suzhou for Liu Yuxin's XANADU 2.0 concert. I chose Hilton because it's a well-established brand and not far from the Suzhou Olympic Sports Centre, which proved to be the right decision. I was very satisfied with the environment, service, and comfort. As soon as I arrived, hotel staff helped me with my luggage from the car, and then again when I got to my room. They also greeted me every time...

The duty manager, Manager Zhao, contacted us even before check-in. He arranged a Hoopoe-themed room for us this time and informed us of the check-in details. On the day of arrival, he contacted us in advance to greet us at the main entrance and helped with our luggage. The room came with a special telescope, Hoopoe-themed cushions, and bird-related decorations. My child loved it, and we'll definitely...
April, the most beautiful time of year, and I took advantage of a rare opportunity to travel. A huge thank you to Liu Qin, our guide from the hotel, for making this trip so special. She proactively added me on WeChat and thoughtfully helped us with directions, recommending nearby attractions and delicious food. When we arrived, a lovely young lady named Zhang Ting greeted us warmly, showing us to our...
The room was very clean and tidy, and the environment was exceptionally good. It's right by Tongli Lake. The hotel itself is a Suzhou-style garden, and it's beautiful to walk around in spring. The photography service they partnered with was also excellent.
The newly renovated Tongli Lake Hotel is truly a breath of fresh air (I've stayed here before). From the front desk staff to the service personnel, everyone was courteous and polite, embodying the service standards of a five-star hotel. The breakfast is rich and highly recommended!
The environment is beautiful, the rooms are clean, and the service is excellent, making you feel right at home. I look forward to staying here again next time I have the chance.
Our stay at the hotel was fantastic! The environment was serene and the place was spotless, making it perfect for a family vacation with kids. The complimentary travel photoshoot offered by the hotel was a great bonus; the photographer was incredibly nice. We'll definitely be back!

Suzhou, No.368 Changjiang Road (6 km from centre) 🧭 Map
The hotel's location is excellent, with a fantastic view, especially at night. The room facilities are comprehensive, and despite being an older hotel, it doesn't feel outdated. The only minor flaw was a small gap near the wall where the curtain didn't fully close, which might just be an issue with this particular room. It's something that could be improved.
Whenever I visit Suzhou, I always choose to stay at Hotel Nikko. The service is consistently excellent, and the location is superb – right by a subway station, making it convenient to go anywhere. The rooms are very comfortable, and the shower pressure is fantastic. Every staff member, from the cleaning aunties to the front desk and concierge, is incredibly friendly and helpful. I'm very satisfied
The room was comfortable, clean, and well-equipped, and the breakfast spread was fantastic. It's super convenient as it's right next to Shizishan Station on Metro Line 1. The pool is great, and the night view from the room is lovely.
Great location! It's an established hotel that has all the essentials. They even included free tickets to Hanshan Temple and Tianping Mountain, and didn't charge extra on weekends, which was a nice bonus. I booked it for a client and they gave positive feedback.
The hotel is conveniently located, and the environment and hygiene are generally good. However, the service was truly disappointing. Firstly, upon arriving at the hotel by car, the bell desk staff's procedure for helping guests with luggage seemed completely untrained. Checking in and parking the car are separate tasks but can be done simultaneously. Directing guests to designated parking spots would...
JAL's service is excellent, and the breakfast is abundant. We chose a room with a view of Lion Rock, which was beautiful. It's also very convenient to get around, with supermarkets and shops nearby for shopping and dining.

Absolutely amazing!!!!!! The location is superb, and the front desk service is top-notch. They even upgraded us to a lake view room when one was available, which was absolutely stunning!! After staying here, I'm already planning my vacation for next year to come back! Truly breathtaking. If you're coming to Suzhou, especially to Jinji Lake, the InterContinental is definitely worth it!
This view alone is worth the trip! Whether it's for a romantic anniversary, a family vacation, or a business trip, this is the best choice in Suzhou Industrial Park. I highly recommend booking a high-floor lake view room; it's absolutely worth every penny. I'll definitely be staying here again next time I'm in Suzhou!
Fantastic location with unbeatable lake views, right opposite Suzhou's iconic 'Big Trousers' building. The night views are stunning! It's super convenient for boat tours from the pier and lakeside strolls. The room was spacious, clean, and comfortable. The Michelin-starred Chinese restaurant served excellent food, and the overall hotel service was great. I'll definitely be back!
This hotel is perfect for a staycation! It was my birthday, and the hotel thoughtfully upgraded me to a lake-view room where I could see the Jinji Lake Ferris Wheel and the beautiful lake. The view was absolutely stunning. The complimentary birthday cake from the hotel was also delicious. Additionally, the hotel boasts three Michelin/Black Pearl-rated restaurants. The Chaoshan cuisine on the top floor...
The room was a little dated but very clean. The service was attentive and thoughtful. Breakfast was also plentiful, and the view was exceptional – truly a prime spot. In the evening, you can take a walk near Jinji Lake, where the air is lovely, and there are plenty of places for shopping and dining nearby. I'll definitely stay here again next time I'm in Suzhou.
The room was spacious and clean, though the facilities were a bit dated. The service was great, and the surrounding area is excellent, with the Ferris wheel and Moonlight Wharf nearby, and plenty of dining options. I'll definitely book the InterContinental again next time I'm in Jinji Lake.

The Kempinski Hotel Suzhou Jinji Lake was a perfect experience! A big thank you to Guest Relations Yolanda for her thoughtful service. Communication was smooth throughout, and the service was excellent, making for a fantastic stay. Definitely five stars, and I'll be back!
The hotel's scenery is excellent, and the apartment-style room is perfect for families traveling with children. I could work in the living room with the door closed, so it didn't disturb the kids sleeping in the bedroom. The large lawn was fantastic. Yolanda provided warm and thoughtful service, and she was very quick to respond to my questions on WeChat.
The Capybara King Room was great! It had a projector with mini-games, which my child absolutely loved. The room also came with kid-friendly amenities like a step stool for the sink, a toilet seat, a children's toiletries set, and cartoon bedding. There's an indoor play area and an outdoor activity zone, and the lake view is beautiful! Yolanda from Guest Relations contacted me a day in advance and provided...
This hotel is nestled between Jinji Lake and Dushu Lake, both of which are expansive and impressive, surrounded by lush green lawns. The hotel boasts excellent facilities and a wide array of family-friendly activities. The pool is spotless and larger than those found in other five-star hotels. The Munich beer is a unique highlight.
Facilities: Excellent
Cleanliness: Spotless
Environment: Beautiful...
Arrived quite early in the morning and checked in quickly. I think they upgraded our room for free because we had elderly people and children with us, and they even installed bed rails. The hotel environment is great, and the kids' activities were really fun; my children had a blast. Even though the hotel is a bit older, you can tell they put a lot of thought into the facilities, and everything is...
They kindly upgraded me to a lake-view suite, and the three-sided lake view was indeed stunning. The room itself was incredibly spacious, with three open-plan areas. However, it rained for three consecutive days, and the room lighting was dim. The room was very quiet and clean, and the service was attentive, making us feel right at home. The hotel's architecture is quaint and elegant. Probably the nicest hotel I’ve ever stayed in. Saw it a couple years ago on a previous trip of China and knew I wanted to come here. Very friendly and supportive staff. The Porsche sound system in the room was a really cool surprise! Breakfast was East meets West… Thank you for a very comfortable stay!
The hotel environment is first-class. This time, my daughter and granddaughter came back from New Zealand, and I brought them to Suzhou. The environment is pretty good, and the air conditioning temperature was just right, making it comfortable. They have bidet toilets. They also helped me arrange a quiet room on a high floor. It's close to the subway station. If I go to Suzhou again, I'll definitely choose Hyatt.
This is a quiet hotel with complete amenities. The location is convenient, just a five-minute walk to Eslite Bookstore, and the Line 1 subway station is right downstairs, making it easy to get anywhere.
The hotel environment is quite good. A butler will proactively add you on WeChat to understand your booking needs beforehand. My booking request was for a room on as high a floor as possible, and Butler Cindy pretty much granted every request. Communication was very pleasant. I'll choose this hotel again next time I visit Suzhou.

Excellent location with a great breakfast and attentive service. It's definitely a top choice if you're looking for a hotel near the industrial park and exhibition center. The executive lounge was also a nice touch. Overall, a really good experience!
The twin room was very spacious, with two 1.4m beds. The service was standard for a five-star hotel. Breakfast was excellent and extensive, featuring congee cooked to order, freshly made noodles, fried eggs, and a variety of Japanese, Korean, Chinese, and Western dishes.
Lovely room and lounge. The staff was kind and warm, accommodating our needs
The warmest surprise during my trip to Suzhou came from Harlan at Renaissance Suzhou Taihu Lake, who not only checked me in quickly but also thoughtfully reminded me about the executive lounge's evening snacks. Highly recommend!

Facilities: Luxurious and cozy.
Hygiene: Clean and tidy, with a fresh and unique design concept – truly enjoyable.
Environment: Elegant, comfortable, and pleasant – a very enjoyable experience.
Service: Warm, attentive, and meticulous.
This is an older state guesthouse, and the location is decent. I arrived around 11 AM. Even though Ctrip showed plenty of available rooms, the front desk insisted I couldn't check in until 2 PM. I booked a room in the Diecui Building, which isn't lakeside. The room they assigned me was near the children's playground, so it was quite noisy. I wasn't thrilled with the room layout; the facilities are...
The room design is very good, and the center counter at the entrance is convenient for washing hands. The hotel environment is good, with a lake in front and a mountain behind. It's just not as big as imagined. The service is still very good. The restaurant front desk is very hospitable, and the noodles are really delicious.
I booked a garden view room at Dongshan Hotel. In the afternoon, I went to the front desk to upgrade it to a mountain view room for free. I am very grateful to the front desk lady and the handsome guy in the lobby for leading us back to the room. I didn't expect that there were two 1.5-meter beds in the room, and the space was also very large. They introduced the hotel's facilities and equipment to...
Su-style Aozao Noodle Set Meal: The hotel service attitude is good. The sewer was blocked when taking a shower at night. The waiter came to the room and took off his socks and took out the hair barefoot. The room was clean and newly decorated. There was a balcony and the air around the mountain was good. The set meal was also good.
The room was a little hot and the air conditioner didn't cool. The hotel has a great view and a great location. It will be better next time when the rooms in Phase 2 and Phase 3 are open. Everything else is satisfactory. The Su-style Aozao noodle set meal in the restaurant on the first floor: delicious, good service, and delicious steamed white water fish. Friends are full of praise.

I found the environment to be comfortable in all aspects, but the service really fell short. The location is very convenient, close to all the must-visit attractions in Gusu District. The staff, especially Melody and Lilian, were incredibly responsive. The doorman always made sure to open the taxi door for us, which was a lovely and thoughtful detail. The view is absolutely fantastic, overlooking all of Suzhou!
Although a bit old, it's very well-maintained! The auntie at the hotel entrance was constantly cleaning! We paid a little extra and upgraded to an executive room, which was great! Hotel stay was very comfortable.
Breakfast options very good.
Is a 500 per night hotel without breakfast so bad... I went there only because of the bathtub. The pillows were very uncomfortable, one was down and the other was very low. My friend and I had a wonderful stay at this hotel. Friendly staff and the food for breakfast was delicious. We can’t wait to stay again.
Although this hotel is very high end there were a few things that I did not think was very good. Firstly, the level of English at the front desk was less than many other less expensive hotels. There was no soap bar in my room to wash hands when I arrived. There was a small rainstorm the night I was there and the noise on the window was too loud. The lobby looks beautiful (see photo).
Nice room, comfortable, friendly staff yet not really trained at the expected level for such type of hotel. It feels a lot of cost control is going on. A bit disappointing.

Great value for money and a fantastic location, making it super convenient for getting around. I always stay here, especially during the Chinese New Year, May Day, and National Day holidays. Guanqian Street is right outside, and the parking is a major plus.
Without a doubt, this is the worst five-star hotel I've ever stayed in. The rooms and facilities are old and run-down. Everything from the walls to the elevators and the room fixtures was filthy. The weirdest thing is there's no proper shower in the room, just a bathtub. If you want to shower, you have to stand inside the tub and use a handheld sprayer. On top of that, the water temperature was impossible...
The hotel was quite peaceful, and the service was patient and thoughtful, promptly resolving any issues we had. We even received a complimentary room upgrade upon check-in. A definite highlight was the incredibly rich and varied breakfast!

The hotel is right next to Metro Line 1, which makes getting around super convenient. They also offer free parking. The room was comfortable and clean, with a great view. Serena provided very friendly service.
The hotel is located near Jinji Lake, offering stunning scenic views. You can take a leisurely walk around the lake and spot the Gate of the Orient. The night view is particularly beautiful. The hotel provides free parking and access to a gym and swimming pool. The service from the staff, especially Gaoli, was warm and attentive.
It was the Chinese New Year holiday, so there were a lot of people and hotel rooms were quite tight. I didn't expect a room upgrade, but the front desk service was still good. The hotel breakfast was excellent, and my parents and kids were quite satisfied. The location is great, very close to Jinji Lake, and free parking is a bonus.

Facilities: Even though it's an older hotel, the facilities are very clean and well-maintained. The bathrooms are practically spotless with no yellowing, which felt great. Even the grout was quite clean.
Cleanliness: Five-star standard, no need to say more, it felt great.
Service: The front desk staff were enthusiastic, and generally, if they weren't too busy, they would meet basic requests.

This was a truly memorable stay! The front desk upgraded us to the presidential suite, and we felt like royalty. The 160-square-meter multi-functional room offered breathtaking panoramic views of Dushu Lake and Moon Bay. The breakfast buffet was also fantastic, with a wide variety of delicious local specialties.
The lady who handled my booking on the day was incredibly helpful and pleasant. She managed to secure several benefits for me, and I'm very grateful. If you can find out her employee ID, please give her a commendation! The environment here is excellent. We were upgraded to a side lake-view room, which offered fantastic scenery from a great floor level. The cleaning staff and security guards were all...
I booked a stay at this hotel last minute for the May Day holiday and was pleasantly surprised!
Upon checking in, I was grateful for the wonderful service from Doro. She was incredibly warm, kind, gentle, and generous. Even though my arrival was unexpected and rushed, she thoughtfully upgraded my room for free to a spacious and bright one, and even gave me complimentary breakfast vouchers. It was...
The room was quite spacious, and the view outside the window was lovely. Breakfast had a great variety, and the staff were very polite and quick to resolve any issues. Dushu Lake feels much more relaxed compared to other attractions in Suzhou.
This hotel in Suzhou offers great value for money. It's fun, has good food, and beautiful scenery. A special thanks to Trip.com customer service representative Ms. Ma (employee ID 713028) for helping us with a room upgrade and complimentary breakfast. It's definitely worth staying here.

All the staffs are friendly, courteous, and eager to help. Our room is spacious and cleaned, but i feel hot and stuffy in there. So I went down to the front desk and see if i could change to another room. The staff was very accommodating and tried to find me another room. But in the process of doing it, the staff explained to us all the room is pretty much the same temperature because it was the changing...
The room was clean, and the breakfast was acceptable by Su Five Diamonds standards. There were two people on site making the food, and some of the fried potatoes, got a little cold after being left out of the pot for a long time. We hope to increase the staff and improve the quality so as to attract guests and give them a better experience.
It's 60 square meters, really big, awesome, and I give it a full five points. Due to time constraints, I didn't take any photos of the interior, only a photo of the lobby.
I always stay at this hotel when I go to Suzhou, and it's always the same! I look forward to upgrading my room type next time I come. 😆 I also hope that some of the rooms can be renovated to keep up with the times. I like the simple and modern decoration, but whether to change it or not is still up to the hotel management to decide. 😜
The lobby is large and the environment is great. The front desk service is especially excellent! The hotel's facilities are very complete, with a beautiful swimming pool and gym, providing excellent options for both leisure and exercise. The hotel's environment is also very quiet, allowing me to relax and unwind. The hotel is very convenient for transportation, and the room facilities are very good...
Staying with our kids at the Suzhou Wangfu Jinke Hotel was a perfect experience! The hotel was clean and tidy, and every corner of the room was spotless, allowing the kids to play freely, giving us, as parents, complete peace of mind.
As for the surroundings, the hotel is surrounded by beautiful greenery, creating a tranquil and relaxing atmosphere, tucked away from the hustle and bustle, making it...

The hotel is located in Wujiang district, by a beautiful, expansive lake. We were upgraded to a scenic room in the main building because our original lakeside villa room was under maintenance. The room was large, clean, tidy, and well-equipped, with a comfortable balcony offering a partial lake view. The breakfast spread was comprehensive, and we particularly enjoyed the seasonal 'daoyu' (swordfish...
This hotel has lots of large lawns, and the environment is superb, making it perfect for families with kids or pets. It even has its own cycling paths, indoor and outdoor pools, and hot springs, making it ideal for cycling and a relaxing getaway. Our butler, ELLA, was also very attentive. Highly recommended!
Our hotel room was upgraded during this trip, and we had a large balcony which was perfect for enjoying tea and sunbathing. A big thank you to the front desk staff for that! The hotel's butler was also very helpful and assisted us with dinner reservations. The hotel environment is lovely, with beautiful greenery, birds chirping, and flowers blooming. The air is fresh and truly delightful. I'll definitely...
Overall, the hotel is very good, with a main building and a villa area, and shuttle buses are available for transfers. My child's favorite is the Chinese restaurant under Wanghu Tower because of the koi fish.
What impressed me most was the hotel's service; you can really feel the high quality and enthusiasm of the staff. Special thanks to our butler Ella for her attentive service.
