Decided last minute to take the kids to Suzhou, and after a lot of searching, I settled on the Hilton. Although it was pricey, the service, environment, and facilities lived up to the big brand name. The breakfast had a great variety, and the hotel's pool, gym, and other amenities were all excellent.

The room was spacious and spotless, equipped with a large fridge, induction cooker, and microwave. There are plenty of restaurants and snack bars nearby, plus a gym. It's right next to the subway station, making it incredibly convenient to get around, with direct access to Suzhou Center, Pingjiang Road, and more.

We booked this hotel because it was close to where my child had a competition, which was very convenient. The room overall was pretty good – clean and with excellent soundproofing; you could barely hear any noise from outside. The breakfast was also quite substantial. The room was very clean and tidy, and the environment was exceptionally good. It's right by Tongli Lake. The hotel itself is a Suzhou-style garden, and it's beautiful to walk around in spring. The photography service they partnered with was also excellent.

Although this hotel is very high end there were a few things that I did not think was very good. Firstly, the level of English at the front desk was less than many other less expensive hotels. There was no soap bar in my room to wash hands when I arrived. There was a small rainstorm the night I was there and the noise on the window was too loud. The lobby looks beautiful (see photo).

The hotel is right next to Metro Line 1, which makes getting around super convenient. They also offer free parking. The room was comfortable and clean, with a great view. Serena provided very friendly service.

This was a truly memorable stay! The front desk upgraded us to the presidential suite, and we felt like royalty. The 160-square-meter multi-functional room offered breathtaking panoramic views of Dushu Lake and Moon Bay. There were two people on site making the food, and some of the fried potatoes, got a little cold after being left out of the pot for a long time. I always stay at this hotel when I go to Suzhou, and it's always the same! This hotel has lots of large lawns, and the environment is superb, making it perfect for families with kids or pets.
