The hotel's location is excellent, with a fantastic view, especially at night. The room facilities are comprehensive, and despite being an older hotel, it doesn't feel outdated. The only minor flaw was a small gap near the wall where the curtain didn't fully close, which might just be an issue with this particular room. It's something that could be improved.

Whenever I visit Suzhou, I always choose to stay at Hotel Nikko. The service is consistently excellent, and the location is superb – right by a subway station, making it convenient to go anywhere. The rooms are very comfortable, and the shower pressure is fantastic. Every staff member, from the cleaning aunties to the front desk and concierge, is incredibly friendly and helpful. Good hotel with better sraff, specially Join who helped us a lot! Good choice!

Nice view from my room, right across the city to the Gate of the Orient. The location is very close to the metro, Panmen and the canal. Check-in was fast and efficient. Staff were pleasant. Room was cleaned daily and bottled water was replenished. There was a fridge in my room, which was really great. Comfy bed.

The front desk service was especially good, especially thanks to Pei Xi’s front desk, Wang Shini, who helped us call the car and help us with our luggage! The rooms are also very clean! Compared with the previous hotel chain, it is no longer a level! The sum of the breakfast is very rich! The cp value is particularly high and must be recommended!

The environment is fantastic; you can take some really 'Suzhou-style' photos without even leaving your room. Absolutely loved this hotel! It beautifully preserves the charm of its century-old architecture while offering all the modern conveniences. The service was exceptional – so warm and attentive. I'll definitely be back to stay here next time I'm in Suzhou.

We had a great time exploring the local area. Right in the heart of the old town, perfect location for wondering the streets. The hotel felt like its own cultural experience with its beautiful courtyards and gardens! 100% recommend!

Choosing Tanhuafu was a bit of a personal wish, hoping my child would soak in some of its scholarly ambiance, given it's the former residence of the prominent Pan family of Suzhou. Coming to Suzhou for my wedding photos, I really wanted to experience a hotel with a Jiangnan courtyard style, so I chose the Tanhuafu Hotel. I was pleasantly surprised when I arrived; stepping into the courtyard felt like I'd entered a true Jiangnan paradise. The front desk staff were also incredibly thoughtful and attentive.

This is my second stay at the Tanhua Mansion. The location is excellent, right at the intersection of Pingjiang Road and Guanqian Street.
