The rooms are spacious and comfortable, with comprehensive facilities including a swimming pool, 24-hour gym, meeting rooms, banquet hall, children's playroom, and a variety of excellent dining options.
Once you arrive, there's no need to go out; simply stroll along the lakeside promenade surrounding the hotel, enjoying the lake views, birdsong, and the unique serenity of the place!
The hotel is located at the tip of the peninsula, and you can stroll along the lakefront right outside. The scenery is beautiful, and every tourist attraction is just a short walk away. Unfortunately, it was too hot and humid this time, so we had to return shortly. Chongyuan Temple is also not far away; Bicester is within a 10-minute drive, and the Jinji Lake business district is a 20-minute drive.
The only downside to the room was the soundproofing. It wasn't the noise from the neighboring rooms, but the noise from the hallway was a bit loud, which was a bit surprising for a 21-year-old hotel.
1. We brought 1 children's bicycle and 1 folding bicycle. We rented a scenic bicycle. We had a lot of fun riding. The price of scenic bicycles is not friendly at 30/hour, so if you want to ride around the lake, you should bring your own bicycle.
2. The fireworks at 8 o'clock on Saturday night are the highlight. Especially for children in big cities, they can't see fireworks many times a year.
3. The hotel is not big, it is small and exquisite, with all the facilities that a hotel of this level should have, but it is smaller than the big hotels I stayed in before.
4. The hotel by Yangcheng Lake is naturally crab-themed, with tableware, slippers, and crab elements everywhere. When we left, I gave my child a small crab brooch, which my child liked very much and insisted on taking to school to show it to his classmates.
5. Speaking of food, except for dinner, which we brought when booking the hotel, we went to Bicester (10 minutes drive) for lunch, and there were more choices. There are many farmhouse restaurants on the peninsula, and we don't think it is suitable for children.
6. The breakfast was average, it had everything that should be there, but nothing memorable.
7. Finally, I would like to thank the housekeeper, Xie Xie.Bin, for his zero-delay service. He took the initiative to contact me before check-in to provide guidance and help upgrade to a higher-floor view room. He replied to my WeChat questions in seconds, which solved a lot of problems.
Close to the lake for walking, running and cycling. The sunset by the grounds of the hotel is beautiful.
