What a fantastic property this is. Had a lovely stay here for about 2 weeks and it sure was a wonderful one. They have everything that one cask for in a room. Lot of places and restaurants nearby to visit. Downtown is little far but that is alright since this place has a lot to offer. Don’t forget to try out delicacies at their restaurant. Their breakfast spread is probably one of the best and offers plenty of options for those who are vegetarian.

The enduring charm of a classic five-star hotel truly shines through. After staying in many new hotels, returning to this old-money style establishment felt like a breath of fresh air. The location is absolutely prime, the breakfast is abundant, and the gym equipment is comprehensive. The staff are warm and attentive. Five stars!

I had a sudden business trip to Dalian this time, and after a long and tiring journey, I was so relieved and grateful to stay at the Shangri-La Hotel, Dalian again. I want to express my sincere thanks to the thoughtful and attentive Lisa. She arranged everything perfectly from start to finish. The hotel is conveniently located on Renmin Road in the city center, making it incredibly easy to get around for business. The moment I stepped into the lobby, I felt a wonderful ambiance; the subtle, healing fragrance instantly washed away the fatigue of my long journey. The quality of this established five-star hotel is truly evident.

It's always my first choice for business trips, and this time, I particularly want to commend Lisa. She is incredibly meticulous and reliable. She proactively communicated with me about my check-in preferences, and knowing I was on a business trip, she specifically helped me reserve a quiet room not facing the street, so I wouldn't be disturbed at night or during the day while working. During check-in, she was patient and thorough throughout, making the process quick and efficient. She remembered my invoice details and prepared the invoice for me in advance. Knowing I still had work to deal with during my trip, Lisa frequently checked in on my stay, which was very thoughtful. She would proactively replenish drinking water and toiletries. Lisa not only made excellent arrangements beforehand, but also patiently helped resolve any issues I had during my stay, promptly and with a gentle attitude, never being perfunctory. I was feeling a bit tired and unwell, which is common when traveling for business, and Lisa promptly checked on me and brought hot honey water and fruit. It was truly a lifesaver and made me feel incredibly warm. Thanks to Lisa's attentive arrangements, combined with the hotel's excellent environment and service, my entire stay was exceptionally comfortable and worry-free. My biggest thanks go to Lisa; she considered every detail and was so thoughtful and meticulous, truly putting herself in the guest's shoes. The next time I come to Dalian for business, I will undoubtedly choose Shangri-La Dalian again!

Facilities and Hygiene: Opened in '97, the facilities are incredibly well-maintained, clean, and tidy.
Ambiance: An old-school five-star, you can definitely feel its past glory.
Service: The service is very dedicated; while not absolutely flawless, there's certainly room for improvement.

This hotel provided an excellent stay. I was very happy with the room I was given; it was clean, tidy, and beautifully arranged. Delancy, who handled my check-in, was very attentive to my preferences and made sure I had a comfortable stay. The hotel's location is also fantastic, with many restaurants nearby, making it super convenient for getting around and dining out. All the staff I encountered yesterday were incredibly warm and friendly, always greeting me enthusiastically, which made me feel right at home.

This is an established five-star hotel, and all its facilities are very well-maintained. The lobby immediately gives off that signature Shangri-La vibe. Located right in the city center, it's convenient to get anywhere. The breakfast spread is incredibly generous, and the staff, from the greeters to the front desk and housekeepers, are all professional and dedicated. It's truly the perfect choice for a vacation.

The service at Shangri-La Dalian is so thoughtful it feels like coming home. It was incredibly comfortable to stay in, and the bedding was clean, tidy, and very soft—just wonderful. The hotel is centrally located, making it convenient to get anywhere, and a taxi ride is just the minimum fare. Inside the hotel, there's a gym, a swimming pool, and even a garden with beautiful scenery, perfect for Instagram-worthy photos. Delancy was especially attentive during check-out, carefully asking about our stay and even surprising us with a small gift. I'll definitely choose this hotel again for my next visit.

My overall experience staying at the Shangri-La Hotel Dalian was fantastic. The staff were all incredibly warm and friendly. Both check-in and check-out were efficient and thoughtful, showcasing their professionalism. Any questions I had were answered patiently and meticulously by the hotel staff; their attention to detail made me feel truly cared for and the service was excellent.

The room I was assigned was spacious and bright, and the cleanliness was impeccable. The bedding was soft and comfortable, making for a very pleasant stay. The hotel also has a beautiful garden, which was perfect for taking photos with my child.

Delancy was particularly thoughtful; she asked about my stay during check-out, making me feel right at home, and even prepared a doll for my child, which was a lovely surprise. My child absolutely loved it. I will definitely choose this hotel again for my next visit.

No matter where I go, Shangri-La is always my first choice. My experience in Dalian this time was superb. The facilities, cleanliness, environment, and service were all top-notch. I will definitely choose Shangri-La again on my next visit to Dalian!

For our May Day trip to Dalian, we specifically chose the Shangri-La Dalian, a classic five-star hotel that's been open for nearly 30 years. Overall, the service was reassuring.

Despite the large holiday crowds, the hotel handled the peak well. They temporarily expanded the lobby lounge into a breakfast area, and the dining experience was orderly. The staff at the Horizon Club on the 25th floor were also gentle and patient, very friendly towards children. Their exclusive breakfast, snacks, and dinner were particularly thoughtful.

I must give a special shout-out to the hotel's swimming pool! The space is tall, spacious, and filled with sunlight. The entire area feels dry and not stuffy. The public areas were meticulously clean, and the pool service was excellent. The pool depth design is incredibly reasonable; the main pool's shallowest point is 1.3 meters, and there's a dedicated shallow children's pool, perfect for infants and toddlers. It's very family-friendly, and the kids had a great time.

The basic room space was sufficient, with a practical sofa, work area, and luggage rack. However, the hardware issues due to its age were prominent: the mattress was too firm and light, and there were few pillow options, leading to an average sleep experience. The bathroom lacked a separate toilet room, and the sink area was cramped. Additionally, the bath towels were too small and thin, not meeting five-star standards. I recommend the hotel promptly replace mattresses, pillows, and other amenities, and upgrade consumables to improve overall detail quality.
