Fairyland Hotel Kunming Nanping Pedestrian Street Baida in Kunming

This hotel is located in Nanping Old Street. To be honest, driving there was a bit congested for us; I guess it's considered their city center. There are many people and shops around. Our main idea was to stroll around the city center after seeing the seagulls, and it is indeed very close to some of the city's attractions, which is quite convenient. The service attitude was excellent.

The rooms are quite spacious, perfect for business travelers or families with kids. The breakfast is good and caters to both adults and children. The late-night congee service is excellent, especially for tourists who've had a lot of rich food during the day and evening. The kids really loved it.

The entrance was a bit hard to find (the taxi driver took me to Atour X Hotel instead), but the facilities are new and clean. The staff were very friendly and the breakfast was incredibly rich and varied. It's not too far from the subway (Jianma Biji Fang is also nearby), so overall it was a good experience.

I haven't stayed at Atour many times, but I chose this Atour for my first night in Kunming, mainly because of its excellent location. It's very close to Kunming Station and near Kunming Old Street, so I could explore the night scenery there. The parking lot is on the fourth floor across the street. You have to carry your luggage down to the first floor, cross the street, take an elevator to the seventh floor, and then reach the Atour front desk, which was a bit inconvenient. The room wasn't very big, and both the bed and duvet felt a bit small. However, all the facilities and equipment were brand new. I'm particular about the comfort of shower facilities, and they proved to be excellent, even better than those at the InterContinental Kunming where I stayed later. The congee in the evening was thick and delicious, very refreshing. The gym, though small, was fully equipped, and they even placed a bottle of water on each piece of equipment, showing great attention to detail. While breakfast wasn't particularly lavish, the staff were exceptionally good. Even when they announced that they were about to close, they were still refilling depleted food items, which many hotels costing thousands wouldn't necessarily do. Overall, after this short stay, I'm very satisfied with Atour; I feel like I've become a fan.

This hotel boasts an excellent location, right in the heart of various pedestrian streets and malls, making dining incredibly convenient. My flight was delayed, and the hotel was very accommodating, allowing for a late checkout – top-notch service! The room was comfortable, and the soundproofing was quite good. The breakfast was plentiful and definitely stands out among hotels in a similar category!

The room was great overall. The bath towels were soft and comfortable, and the mattress was just right – not too hard, not too soft – so I slept really well. The hygiene was good, and the service was excellent! The front desk staff even helped us upgrade our room when they saw we had a child with us. The hotel's location is also fantastic; it's right in a bustling area, and it's super convenient to get to the Old Street.

The lobby staff were warm and patient, and I especially loved the bookstore in the lobby. The breakfast area was also very clean and tidy.
