Front desk service staff were obliging and friendly, and willing to grant a late check out. We were also offered a free upgrade to a suite without asking for it, so the extra space and powder room were great.

Walking distance to Plaza 66, many traditional tea shops nearby and a very short 5 min Didi ride to The Mixc Kunming mall which I highly recommend as a modern place to shop and dine at! Many good options.

We were also promptly supplied with a heater when we found the wind entering the room through the windows.

Dont expect lush and pristine furnishings but definitely an economical option in central Kunming. Overall, a reassuring and comfortable stay - bedding was really comfortable with BOTH firm and soft pillows properly indicated on the cases.

The front desk staff were incredibly friendly and efficient during check-in. To my pleasant surprise, I even got a complimentary upgrade to a suite because of the hotel's availability that day! The room was very spacious with a smart layout, impeccably clean, and the bedding was wonderfully soft and comfortable.

The hotel's location is excellent, right next to Henglong Plaza. Most places are within about a kilometer's distance. I was pleasantly surprised that during the busy Chinese New Year holiday, the hotel upgraded us to a junior suite. The front desk staff (Auntie) were also very helpful.

The hotel staff were very friendly and helpful. The hotel itself was clean and well-maintained. Its central location in Kunming made it incredibly convenient for getting around, shopping, sightseeing, and dining. The breakfast offered a wide variety of delicious options.

The room service and all other aspects at this Holiday Inn consistently meet their high standards. The breakfast is abundant and features some Yunnan specialties like rice noodles, flower cakes, and grilled rubric cheese. It's an excellent choice for a layover or a short stay in Kunming. It's only two stops to Kunming Old Street (Wuyi Road Station) and about a 20-minute taxi ride to Kunming Railway Station. Getting to the airport by taxi also takes around 30 minutes. Furthermore, Henglong Plaza is just a 10-minute walk downstairs. All in all, it's very convenient and highly recommended.

The hotel's location is excellent, making it very convenient to visit Kunming Old Street. The cleanliness is good, although the overall facilities are a bit old. However, the service is attentive and welcoming. They offer free parking with charging stations, which is a great plus for those traveling by car.

The hotel is clean and hygienic, and the transportation is convenient. The staff are very friendly. There are also plenty of dining options nearby. I've already visited Donghua Farmers Market and tried the 12-yuan hand-ground coffee, which was quite unique.

I booked my Chinese New Year trip late, so I figured I was stuck with the less-than-ideal hotels. This one was built in 2014, so I didn't have high expectations.

However, from the moment I checked in, I could feel the hotel's incredibly thoughtful service. As soon as I walked in, I was given a New Year's gift box. When we mentioned the flowers, they enthusiastically shared their experience arranging them. Later, while looking at a map, a staff member thoughtfully answered all our travel questions. Every single staff member I encountered throughout my stay greeted me with a smile. The experience was absolutely fantastic.
