The location of the hotel is just perfect… right on the lake
We had a free 1-hour boat trip on the lake included in our rate
The room was very nice (strong smell of cigarette on the lift when we arrived… but the room didn’t smell cigarette)
The staff doesn’t speak English well but they were friendly
The hotel name is « Dahua Hotel » on Google map but the name on booking is « Grand Hotel »

Great location and very close to the city center and west lake. Great restaurant and breakfast with scenery boat tour.

Best rating hotel around the area and it really fit the expectations! Services are good all around. The only below expectation is breakfast. They can do better job on meal selection and menu arrangement. The only spotlight is hand pulled ramen noodle. Very good!

Nice spot to stay as its located besides Xihu lake. Great way to enjoy the view day and night. The hotel is well maintained but rooms are smoking room.

Hotel's location is excellent, excellent Chinese architecture. Just next to the zig zag bridge at Westlake. Staffs were helpful and polite. A must visit for 1st time visitor to Westlake!

Even next to the West Lake Starbucks still have seats all the time. Music here is relaxing and the coffee tastes as usual.

You are in for a treat. Best Hangzhou style cooking I've ever had. Very crowded, but they run it smoothly. Servers are extremely nice.

Great atmosphere and menu. Reminded me of the ambiance some of my favorite American restaurants. They were out of the noodles I ordered and the beer selection didn't match the menu. However Everything was great. Beautiful menu with English and pictures. We came back a second time the next night!
