We stayed at this hotel for one day. The hotel is located between hills in a picturesque area, surrounded by trees. It is clear that the hotel is quite old, and it would be nice to refresh the rooms and the lobby. The room was fairly spacious with a large window. Surrounded by Yu Huang Mountain, the hotel offers an elegant and peaceful retreat with a beautiful courtyard. When visiting Hangzhou, I wanted to find a place close to West Lake. I came across Yuhuangshan Hotel, which provided a wonderfully tranquil environment with beautifully maintained greenery. Its location is superb, just a 1 km walk from West Lake. The hotel's service was also excellent, and they even gave us a special Hangzhou souvenir. I'm extremely satisfied and will definitely be back again.

The hotel's scenery is absolutely beautiful. The only downside is that the room was a bit small. We rented a car from the hotel to Wuzhen, and it was clean, comfortable, and reasonably priced with no smoke smell – definitely a huge plus for the smoke-free environment!

This hotel has a great atmosphere. The hotel garden offers direct access to West Lake, and it's right across from Leifeng Pagoda. My booking through the platform was delayed, so the hotel upgraded my room. The bathroom was very spacious. Breakfast quality was good. However, the hotel's own restaurant, Wenyin Pavilion, was not very good value for money.

Their professionalism and empathy were top-notch, really helping to smooth things over after the hotel sprayed insecticide without any notice, causing guests to inhale it and understandably get upset.
