Reviews
Firstly the price of the hotel is unmatched, i dont believe there is a cheaper alternative on Hvar that offers both a breakfast, dinner and a private beach.
Second, the hotel is older but all of the rooms are clean and well maintained, every room has a seaview, a tv and an air conditioner.
The breakfast and dinner are buffet style and the food is amazing, various types of salads, fruits, vegatables, meats, pastries, sweets and ice cream.
The beach is probably the highlight of this hotel, as the water is crystal clear and you have a feeling like youre in heaven.
The depth of the water is around 5-6 meters and you can see all the way down.
There is a part of the beach for families that is much shallower, and there are other parts which are secluded and very private, while i was here i only saw 3-4 people at most on those ‘hidden’, more secluded parts.
The staff and service are also amazing, with everyone being very friendly and helpful, i have not had a single bad experience with the staff, and they were all very kind.
I will say the only downside of the whole experience is that there is only one outlet in the room, but brining with you an extension cable solves this issue were quickly.
Anyone who says this hotel is not worth it is probably a spoiled western european or american that believes they are entitled to a 3 star michelin meal and a private palace for a 120€. Do not listen to them, the hotel is amazing, and you will not regret coming here.
Need to be renovated.
Staff very good.
The exterior is practically crumbling, with cracks spidering their way across the façade like a warning from nature itself. The website photos and ones here on google must be archival images because they bear absolutely no resemblance to the current state of decay.
📶 Inconveniences
No Wi-Fi in the year 2025? Only 1 outlet in the room!! And be prepared to shell out 20 euros just to escape to downtown Hvar. Couldn't even get a cork screw to open a bottle of wine nor would they give us wine glasses.
🍽️ Breakfast
Mediocre at best.
🚫 Bottom Line
So much more I could say but not worth the effort. This hotel isn’t just outdated—it’s practically defunct. The lack of maintenance, misleading advertising, and inconvenient amenities make this an easy one-star. If you're planning your holiday, skip this nostalgia trap and find a place that respects its guests enough to update... literally anything. The only positive thing about this hotel is the close by beach.
