TUI BLUE Jadran Mini-hotel

Pros:
- Nicely located
- Private beach with a Lot of available Sunbeds
- Lots of parking available
- You can bring a small dog
- Very friendly staff
- Very clean rooms
- The hotel does not feel crowded, we have been here end of august
- Fresh flowers all around the hotel
- Unfortunately we were not lucky with our luggage: nether check in or check out we had assistance, but we have seen, that normally the luggage is brought by the staff to your room, which is very nice I guess

Cons:
- Gym is very poorly equipped if you are interested in sports
- Food: sorry but I can not comply with other reviews. We had breakfast and dinner. Breakfast is still ok for Croatia, but dinner unfortunately ist only okay: The quality of the fish and meat is very poor. Although how it’s made: nothing is grilled, everything is only fried with lots of oil. There are no specials at all: think about it: you can only get fish on „live cooking“ - otherwise there is nothing available. No shrimp, no salmon, nothing. And „live cooking“ means „fry some fish in a pan“. It is a gamble on how good is the cook or how is the quality of the fish. Also the few vegetable dishes were rarely good: without any pepper, salt or spices. Desert felt like convenience products - fruits were delicious though. Salad bar is pretty decent though.
- Service in restaurant: to get refills you need to actively stop the waiters. And for every order you get the check right away, so you get the feeling to not drink anything more. That’s somehow awkward.
- Dress Code: I think it’s totally okay if people go to dinner with shorts, but people in FlipFlops and soccer Jerseys wearing Headphones ? Come on…
- SPA is small. Prices are very out of range: if the prices were even close to prices in Germany, we would have done all the Programm. But in this hotel some of it is 1/3 more of the prices, if even double the price. What are you expecting?
- Price range for drinks is fairly high. For lots of people it might not be attractive anymore to go to Croatia: just fly to Greece and save some money
- Be careful with you room choice: we had sea view which was quite ok (but ground floor level which was unfortunate). If you want a higher located room, you need to book a superior category. Other Rooms are on the backside of the hotel pointing directly onto the parking area. This must be really awful

All in all we would not recommend this place: we payed €250 per night without any drinks. 😵‍💫
