It's like staying with family you like and actually want you to stay with there. Rustic cabin feel and such a warm welcome. She had the heater on our 1st day...that was nice since it was raining all day. Definitely stay here again. Thank you for being great hosts...that includes the dogs and cats that greeted us. ❤️

This is a fantastic place to stay when exploring Plitvice Lakes NP. The property is in a quiet location with plenty of parking and a nice place to relax outdoors. The room was super comfortable, very clean and quiet and we felt very relaxed there. Everyone was really friendly and the check-in/out process was simple. We had breakfast at the nearby restaurant Vila Velebita (same owners) and it was fantastic...

The hotel is incredibly clean, the rooms were very cozy, large and cute in orange. Everything smelled great. AC, wifi and free parking were available as well. The staff was very welcoming and polite, waiting for us to arrive at the property late in the evening. The price is amazing for this place! Definitely recommend!

It was really great house to stay and rest with so quiet and peaceful atmosphere. I want to really recommend this house. You can be healed by real nature.

Only downside is bathroom has glass walls that you can pull drapes for privacy but sadly no ceiling. If you need privacy to do your business it might not be the best choice. Other than that it is a great space up several flights of stairs.

Pack light, you’ve got 4 flights of stairs but it’s worth it and they will send someone to handle your luggage if needed. The room was really great, and the location ideal.

We rested here as a family - two adults and a child. We were very satisfied! The apartments are modern, clean and well-maintained, everything is new and in excellent condition. During our stay, towels were regularly changed, toilet paper was replenished and order was maintained. Special thanks to the hosts - they are very welcoming, friendly and always ready to help. Very cool and quiet place! Nice owners, always clean, there is a place to park the car, we were a family of 4, so apartment number 1 was perfect, 2 separate bedrooms, and a separate kitchen with a corridor, everything is completely new and modern! My only recommendation is that the 2-person bed should have 1 solid mattress and not two separate ones (it was like that in one bedroom).

Very clean, spacious apartment overlooking the mountains in a quiet neighborhood. The owners were very friendly and helpful. We are very pleased and we will definitely come back there again.

Splendid accomodation very close to beach. Staff is great and very helpful. if you are looking for an elegantly furnished villa for a reasonable price, this should be your choice. There is also a restaurant with very tasty dishes.

Verry nice room and lovely inn keepers. They took us in after wa couldn't reach the hotel we were supposed to be in, due to floods. The bathroom was a little outdated but they have rooms where the bathrooms is renovated. We had a choice but went with this room. Lovely views from the terras, and not to far from the town. Everything since the moment I arrived was incredible. Claudio is a such a very good man who was always offering me many different things. I just felt at home and if visit Split again. I 100% recomend you this place.

This is a very good place to stay at when you are at Kastel Luksic. It is central, clean and has a great breakfast included. The family that owns it are so nice and easy ti talk to and recommend this place to everyone. I will be coming back as soon as possible.

The host was absolutely lovely. Welcoming, accommodating and kind. Allowed me to check-in early and was great at communicating. Breakfast was delicious. It’s close to the airport, in a great area and walking distance from the water. Can’t recommend this place enough.

Claudio is a magnificent host. He greets you a check-in, makes your breakfast and it happy to answer questions during the day while you’re out touring the beautiful area around Split. I would not hesitate to recommend this property!

Just stayed - had a room with a balcony overlooking the ocean and it was beautiful. Well managed and very clean. We did not have a car which wasn’t a problem because the location is incredibly close to restaurants and even overlooks a beach. Very lovely and I would highly recommend.

Haha. This place is another gem that was probably big in Yugoslavia. The rooms were nice and clean, honestly no complains there. The only conplain is lack of AC so if you are in during the afternoon you will feel like you are in sauna. The unit had two bathrooms which was very nice. The place was very clean overall and the little outdoor patio allowed us to dry out some wet clothing. Julija was so pleasant at check-in and she set up a taxi for us for a 4:30AM trip to the airport. The driver showed up right on time.

Lovely little hotel! This is a wonderful little hotel, situated a stones throw from the old town in Split. Would definitely recommend, and would stay again if we ever found ourselves back in Split for a few days!

Absolutely an enjoyable place to stay! We only booked it as a quick sleepover on our way to Split, but honestly, I wish we had stayed for a few days. The atmosphere is peaceful and relaxing, surrounded by beautiful nature, and it feels perfect for unwinding after visiting Plitvice Lakes. The host family welcomed us very warmly. We had a beautiful double room with a double bed in each of them. The location was very convenient as it was near the waterfalls. Fantastic views! Immaculate apartment and welcoming host. Free parking. Good wifi and a two minute walk to private pebble beach( as most are in Croatia). Absolute silence at night which was beautiful. Easy drive to Dubrovnik, Montenegro and Bosnia. Would definitely stay again if In area as great value for money rather than rip off Dubrovnik prices.

This is the greatest option for lodging in this area. The host family is extremely kind, accommodating, and warm. I selected the apartment with the washing machine and full kitchen. The bed was comfortable and the air conditioning unit worked really well. This was a very clean room and beautiful view of the sea! Although only 20 minute walk to the Old town, it’s all uphill on the way back. Kind of mixed feelings about this place. The owner is very nice and the location and value are great. But! There's like no sound separation. Like, none at all. I could hear conversations from the other room as if they were right next to me. I couldn't have conversations in my room without disturbing other folks. I've heard most of old town is like this, just be aware!

A wonderful apartment to stay in while exploring the city of Split! We stayed in the loft apartment room which was comfortable, cosy and instantly felt like home. This room had it's own small, well stocked kitchenette as well as access to the main kitchen in the main area. The host wasn't there while we stayed, but her mother was an absolutely wonderful host - very friendly and full of helpful information

We had the 2 room view apartment (room 4). Fantastic view, The staff were professional and friendly. We had a welcome drink of Prosecco. So nice. Beds were ok, starting to get dips in them from wear. So close to beach, restaurants and old town. Breakfast was the best!!!! Coffee too!

We visited this summer (2020) with our two kids, had a small but nice and clean appartment, with a wonderful view of the beach. If you take Uber, it is very easy to move to old town but If you would like to move by foot, It is not necessary to go to gym. The balcony view was one of my best view to see sunset and the beautiful scenery of Dubrovnik. I would like to stay again definitely when I visit Dubrovnik later.

So as long as you're ok with a few (ok maybe more than a few!) steps...you will have THE best view of Dubrovnik Old Town, lovely accommodation, amazing host, very informative, staying here means you get the amazing views and are just a few minutes walk from the incredible old town, & if the steps concern you, it's €9 from the bottom to the apartment, we definitely did this a few times! We loved our stay at Guesthouse Home Sweet Home with an amazing host Zrinka. It has a bit of steps to get up to but it was well worth it with amazing views of Old Town and Lokrum Island at your door step. Amenities were good enough for us on a short trip and a small kitchenette was handy too. Thanks to Katarina too for helping with any queries we had along the way

The host spoke great English and his Mum not being able to speak English supplied coffee and Tea on Arrival and fruit from there trees. The room on top floor was small but adequate and recommend replacing the 2nd single bed with a pull out sofa bed. So we can put out stuff on it. Near the main road. Clean room and bathroom. It is spacious enough. Not so luxurious but it's okay to stay for a few days.
