Hotels on first line in Opatija

Please try to consider this option for future development for guests in the early and late seasons. Anyway, we want to return again!

Excellent hotel. Reception desk available at all time. Room view is magnificent. Food is ok. Beach is rock and sunbeds are 100 kn ( 15 eu ) ...not free for hotel guests

We spent another great time here before Halloween. Our room was very clean with a nice view as always. It was our fourth time at this hotel. Breakfast was fine and the dishes for dinners were also very good

One of our favorite hotels of our trip. Excellent location along the ocean walk with easy access to the ocean and a very nice pool. Lots of pool chairs available and very family friendly

Great value. Nice view from all rooms. Easy 20 minute walk along the sea to the city center. Margarita was extremely nice and very helpful during my short stay!

We extended our stay with a late check out, which was amazing because it allowed us to explore the area with a quick drive over to Rovinj without having to worry about parking or luggage security

Great hotel, the breakfast had a huge selection to choose from, great pool and pool bar, the staff was splendid

– On the pool terrace, water from the upper level sometimes drips onto the loungers below. This could easily be solved by adding gutters

Very nice stay! The rooftop spa was cozy with a beautiful view and a relaxing atmosphere. The lobby bar was also a highlight, with great vibes and live music in the evenings

Overall, a very enjoyable and comfortable experience – would definitely come back

For example, if you didn’t bring a beach bag, they provide one in the room for you to use—such a simple gesture, but incredibly practical and appreciated

The infinity pool, spa, and saunas with breathtaking sea views were just stunning. Honestly, those views alone are worth the price

So if you are not a good swimmer better to take an air mattress or use the infinity pool on windy days

Nice Hotel I noticed that this is 3* and 4*. I have a very small room and fine for 1 night.

The hotel is located in a handy position for getting about to different restaurants. The facilities at the hotel are excellent, the wellness area with the sauna with the most incredible view - not to be missed

We had booked this hotel with one of the options for an elevator. Upon arrival we found out we had to go up 2 flights of stairs then get an elevator that too with out someone helping us with our bags

Sleeping was troublesome during that those evenings! The pool bar closed at 5 which we felt was a little early given how many people were still around the pool area

Bloody Mary and champagne for breakfast, picturesque view from the room, magnificent jacuzzi, sea water in the pools, hammam - I recommend!

Room was great, clean and spacious. Hotel is ok, indoor pools gets crowded in the afternoon. Evening music was a disaster, please change the "singer" (Tin).

When we asked, they simply advised us to “do the same. ” Locals and non-guests climb over the fence from the walking path and use both the pool and beach loungers

In the following days, we realized guests wake up early just to claim sunbeds, then leave for hours. Signs say towels will be removed after 30 mins, but staff didn’t enforce it

At check-in (3 PM), we headed to the beach area, only to find all loungers “reserved” with towels but not a single person present

I won’t return — but if you’re looking for a free beach day, apparently all you need to do is jump the fence

They especially praised the food which was very tasty and varied, and the staff was extremely helpful, kind and polite throughout their stay. All recommendations for a relaxing holiday in beautiful Opatija!

Hotel feels new, but heavily inderstaffed, although staff in restaurant is pleasant and tries their best to help. Cleaning of rooms is very late, but again for understaffed reason

Everything was great, location is really perfect, staff very polite and attentive, breakfast consists of a huge choice of everything. Coffee could be better.

Unfortunately it's a common practice in Croatia to have decent baseline prices for the rooms and then add a massive premium on top for anything else

** is very small, few people play, *******, other tables are idle. The hotel is in a good location, very convenient to the beach and major attractions, there are many hotels and restaurants around

Great rooms, we got lucky and had a room with perfect view of the city. Location is perfect, close to everything needed, beach, historical places, garden

Nice hotel with friendly staff. Rooms are spacious and comfortable. Visit terrace with sea view and lobby bar for a drink. Hotel is on waterfront so use it for a walk on Lungo mate path.

A very nice and fresh hotel with friendly staff. The location was great overlooking the ocean, an my room was nice and spacious, bed was great and it all looked newly renovated. The breakfast room was nice and food great

Also the inside pool was amazing, and I was there completely alone, having the place to my self. Was my first time there but will definitely be back next time I am in the area

The new renovated hotel is really nice. We booked a deluxe hotel room, we haven’t got terrace. The hotel haven’t got own beach, you should pay for the sunbeds (15 euro) and the towels too (10 euro).

Although the property was mid-renovation and hosting a conference while we visited, it was no challenge to thoroughly enjoy the place, the fabulous breakfast buffet, the hospitality, the VIEWS!, and the comfort

It is on the seafront, walking distance from the beach. It is bad that the hotel did not renew its contract with the beach-umbrellas company. The service in their restaurant was lacking

We had a balcony where we could sit and take in the view, the bed was very comfortable indeed and we had all the provisions we needed, including bathrobes and slippers for the lovely pool and spa

Perfect for us from the moment we set foot in the door: service was accomodating (but not overly), room and common areas spacious and well cared for, food delicious and ample, location quite central. Highly recommend.

Beautiful hotel The hotel is beautiful, exuding old world charm. Fantastic view, spacious rooms with high ceilings and tastefully furnished. The staff are super friendly. Excellent value for the money.

This was the most wonderful stay in an elegant hotel along the Croatian Riviera. Our room was sumptuous and luxurious, tastefully decorated with a stunning view over the bay

The hotel is an Austro-Hungarian Empire style building. The rooms are not big but adequate and the service is very good. The hotel's paid parking lot is a bit far away

However, what truly sets Milenij apart from other hotels are the people. The level of service and attention to guests is at the highest possible standard

We are already looking forward to our next stay and continuing our Easter tradition at Hotel Milenij, as well as visiting during the rest of the year

We would also particularly highlight the Argonauti Restaurant, which has impressed us every time with its superb food and overall dining experience

The breakfast buffet is one of the best we have ever experienced, diverse, high-quality, and beautifully presented

Location is amazing, atmosphere and feeling like being at home. All Milenij Hotel staff give their guests the feeling of belonging and importance

BUT carpets throughout very stained, basin plugs leak, inadequate lifts for size of hotel, units in rooms badly designed with many sharp corners, inadequate lighting especially in area with kettle…outdoor pool large and pleasant but to access must exit hotel past kitchens, down service road, cross public area, climb flight of rusting steps… Buffet breakfast good, dinner inconsistent ( not always hot...

Several times we have come upon dog poo in the stair wells. Large breakfast buffet but nothing special about it. Outdoor pool is large but outdated and not in best repair. Staff is lackluster for the most part

Beautiful hotel on the Croatian coast. All rooms have sea views and balconies. Fantastic choice of food at every meal. Has an outdoor pool, an indoor sea pool and a spa

Our room was 206, I just couldn’t get my head round that we had to go down in the lift from reception not up! Our room had twin beds pushed together, a nice compact shower room, a stocked mini bar with a place over the top for my travel kettle (reception hire kettles too) and a gorgeous view of the marina

Large choice of food including salads. We couldn’t fault the food at all. The location of hotel Admiral is perfect. 10 min walk to centre of Opatija which is very pretty. Bus stop outside takes you to Icici and Lovran

You can wander whichever you prefer. There's a private beach, but to the right, there are plenty of small concrete ramps down to the water, with stairs, and they're clean. The water is clean because there's no sand

The hotel is very nice,especially the staff . The swimming pool is great,the water is warm. The food is top. The view is spektacular from room,from restaurant... You want't regret if you are normal person.

We really liked the location of the hotel. Opatija is such a beautiful village and you can go into the centre directly via the sea promenade

Also the beach is very beautiful, but keep in mind that it costs 25€ (for 1 umbrella and two sun beds). The parking situation is horrible

We just returned from our traditional December vacation in Opatija and I must say that Hotel Istra exceeded all expectations this year! Although we have been coming to Opatija for years, this time we were completely overwhelmed by the warmth of their staff, especially Mrs

Really decent place with amazing buffet, close to the beach and kind staff (and they have a lot)! The spa is pretty small and doesn't come with a pool, which is a downer for a hotel that category

Breakfast is amazing, dinner is ok, it could be better if food is more tasty, dont get me wrong, it is ok but not amazing. Room is big, huge TV, bathroom modern, nothing to complain there

It's an old hotel, but everything is very clean. The water in the pool is just the right temperature and salinity

Hotel is old but nice and not so expensive at the end of October. Rooms are nice with lovely view on the sea. Dinner is 27€ so a little bit expensive. Parking is disaster and you have to pay for it

Boutique Hotel Navis is pure Adriatic luxury. The dramatic seaside location is breathtaking, the architecture and interiors are sleek, modern, and beautifully designed, and every detail feels carefully curated

We loved the pool terrace and beach area which always had plenty of sunbeds

Knowing Croatia well, we were prepared for having to climb down a ladder into the crystal-clear sea (there is also a very small pebbly bay but you’d need swim shoes to go into the water there)

A lovely touch! Our room was modern and we had the most beautiful view of Kvarner Bay and the Adriatic Sea from our balcony on the fourth floor

We both got great massages from Alma, definitely the best of our holiday! It is a little bit peculiar that in order to access the sun terrace, guests have to walk through the spa – which is not conducive to creating a tranquil atmosphere in the spa

The rooms were quaint and clean. The view was nice out onto the sea however I did not have a patio. The hotel dinner was terrible as the meat was dry and the pasta along with other dishes were cold

The location was close to everything however it was next to the main road. You could hear traffic all night, racing up the street and loud mufflers. I was on the 2nd floor and staying on a friday and saturday night

This was one of the best hotels I’ve stayed. The breakfast was magnificent and all the workers there. The air condition works just fine, actually we were freezing in the middle of august

We are a family of three and after checking with almost all hotels in the city centre, we ended up getting the last double bed room in Amadria Agava for one night with our son sleeping with us in the same bed

This is the best hotel in Croatia. They greeted us like Queens with glasses of pink prosecco cookies and nuts. The building has been upgraded beautifully but kept its old world charm

Great location, close to beaches and shops. Excellent buffet breakfast. Clean and comfortable. Room keys had to be reset several times during our stay, so this could be improved.

The location of this hotel is excellent with beautiful views of the Adriatic Sea from front-facing rooms, patio and ground level. With many choices, breakfast is wonderful and plentiful

Rooms - at least the one I experienced- are spartan and small, a bit outdated, but serviceable. I had a wonderful tiny balcony I could step onto to view the sea and that was gorgeous

I am pointing this out because often it is said that Opatija and Croatia in general are very expensive. Yes, the food in many restaurants in Opatija is expensive, but there are other with more affordable prices

Highly recommend to go there, because after the small part with stones there is a huge part with sand under the water. In the hotel's surrounding you have a lot of shops and restaurants

Inside this hotel there is a chocolate museum where you can buy chocolate produced in it or upstairs you can eat cakes made with this chocolate

This was our secund stay in this lovley hotel. Employer at the reception were very helpful ,frendly and pleasent,especially Domagoj. Breakfast was delicious,lot of choices ,nice and fresh food

Loved the hotel and location in Opatia. Our balcony overlooked the Adriatic Sea. Great staff, clean rooms and a very good breakfast. Walking path goes by this property which was a fun way to see the area

Hotel Savoy is one of the best hotel on Opatija due to its location. Beach Colosseum, the private beach of the hotel was fantastic, the rooms with balcony and see view are wonderfull and relaxing

That is perhaps 50 to 100 yards away from the hotel if you go to the hotel first with your bags then you have to take a long route back to the garage because the road by the hotel is one way but really a very nice place to stay

Very nice hotel with friendly and helpful staff. The view was beautiful from the balcony! I really enjoyed everything about my stay including the spa services. I would definitely stay here again!
