Everything was perfect. The Staff was very kind and helpfull for everything we needed.
The views from the Hotel are stunning even from the lowest floors.The Location is great and right opposite of the Ocean and Villa Angiolina in the city center.The Dinner was always something different and very opulent with great variety. The Room heating worked perfectly fine and we couldnt hear a Sound from the outside its very quiet. The rooms are big and have great rituals products to use. Overall I can really recommend the Hotel Bristol to everyone that is looking out for a stay in Opatija.

The rooms were quaint and clean. The view was nice out onto the sea however I did not have a patio. The hotel dinner was terrible as the meat was dry and the pasta along with other dishes were cold. The location was close to everything however it was next to the main road. You could hear traffic all night, racing up the street and loud mufflers. I was on the 2nd floor and staying on a friday and saturday night. Both nights I heard dj music until 4am. I didnt get alot of sleep here and I would choose another location if i am in the area again. The staff were somewhat friendly as the front desk clerk appeared to be annoyed when you asked a question.

We stayed as part of a group tour. The location was very good but the hotel needs updating. I am not sure what room photos were used for TripAdvisor but our room looked nothing like it. The room was extremely small (we had no place to open luggage except the bed), furniture was very worn and stained, the carpet had so many stains and the shower leaked all over the floor. Breakfast was just okay with only a few hot choices such as scrambled eggs.

The hotel is in an excellent location, and the rooms are nicely decorated with a charming Austro-Hungarian character. Unfortunately, the overall experience was seriously affected by poor management and a complete lack of accountability. It is important to note that the issue was not caused by the reception staff as individuals, but by the fact that they clearly lacked authority and support from management. We stayed in January, with outside temperatures around freezing, and were assigned a room where the heating did not work. We reported the problem several times, yet no effective solution was provided. Late in the evening we were told that the heating was known not to be working and that nothing could be done, leaving us no choice but to spend the night in a freezing room, sleeping in our jackets. The next morning we were told that a portable heater could have been provided, but for unknown reasons it never was. I am fully aware that technical issues can happen, that heating systems can fail, and that front-desk staff may not always be able to handle every situation perfectly. However, the main reason for this negative review is the behavior of the reservations/management office, which refused to take any responsibility for the situation. When we contacted management afterward, we were told that we could have left the hotel if it did not suit us — a highly inappropriate and dismissive suggestion, especially considering that this happened late at night, when finding alternative accommodation was simply not a realistic option. The written response we received from management contained numerous grammatical errors, which further reinforced the impression of unprofessional and careless communication with guests. I cannot recommend staying at this hotel, as it is evident that the interests and well-being of guests are not treated as a priority, even though they should be the very foundation of tourism. I sincerely hope that future guests will have a better experience, which this beautiful hotel truly deserves.

A centrally located older hotel that has been renovated. Average sized clean rooms. Beds were just at their age limit, and should be replaced. Breakfast buffet was minimally adequate. Avoid the dinner buffet AT ALL. COSTS! They ran out of many items and didn’t replace them. The food quality was terrible, probably the worst meal I’ve had in several decades. We were on a tour so can’t comment on cost.

This was one of the best hotels I’ve stayed. The breakfast was magnificent and all the workers there. The air condition works just fine, actually we were freezing in the middle of august. I want to thank Karolina who helped us with the reservation , and Elena from reception who was just so sweet with us. Thank you, hope to see you soon again.
