Hotels with beach in Opatija

Had breakfast and dinner included, enjoyed it, very nice choice freshly cooked, good coffee and drinks included, superb beach and pool, friendly staff, and not far from Opatija centre with all little shops and restaurants, highly recommended!

We spent another great time here before Halloween. Our room was very clean with a nice view as always. It was our fourth time at this hotel. Breakfast was fine and the dishes for dinners were also very good

We extended our stay with a late check out, which was amazing because it allowed us to explore the area with a quick drive over to Rovinj without having to worry about parking or luggage security

The quality of the bed was great! The kids club was also a nice service! Parking was easy in the garage. Our only regret was the lack of a sauna

The breakfast was absolutely amazing with everything you could possibly imagine. The staff were extremely helpful and Nice. Short 20 minute walk into town. Views from the rooms were incredible

One of our favorite hotels of our trip. Excellent location along the ocean walk with easy access to the ocean and a very nice pool. Lots of pool chairs available and very family friendly

Room was great, clean and spacious. Hotel is ok, indoor pools gets crowded in the afternoon. Evening music was a disaster, please change the "singer" (Tin).

In the following days, we realized guests wake up early just to claim sunbeds, then leave for hours. Signs say towels will be removed after 30 mins, but staff didn’t enforce it

At check-in (3 PM), we headed to the beach area, only to find all loungers “reserved” with towels but not a single person present

When we asked, they simply advised us to “do the same. ” Locals and non-guests climb over the fence from the walking path and use both the pool and beach loungers

I won’t return — but if you’re looking for a free beach day, apparently all you need to do is jump the fence

The staff is amazing and very helpful, special shoutout goes to Filip and Rebeka on the reception who are beyond nice and extremely professional, always smiling with good vibes and attitide even tho i lost my room keys a few times ( in a day!)

A very nice and fresh hotel with friendly staff. The location was great overlooking the ocean, an my room was nice and spacious, bed was great and it all looked newly renovated. The breakfast room was nice and food great

Although the property was mid-renovation and hosting a conference while we visited, it was no challenge to thoroughly enjoy the place, the fabulous breakfast buffet, the hospitality, the VIEWS!, and the comfort

The food for breakfast and dinner is very good and there's nothing better than eating on a beautiful terrace with views of the sea in all directions. The room also has a beautiful view of the sea and Rijeka

It's an old hotel, but everything is very clean. The water in the pool is just the right temperature and salinity

Dinner is from 19-00 to 21-00, also rich and worth to be include during the stay. Spacious and well-organised room (except for the bathroom: very limited space), comfortable bed

Every single staff member was genuinely warm and super-friendly and we felt pampered and almost part of the family! In fact, we learned that the Navis was actually family-owned and got to chat briefly to the owner ourselves

We loved the pool terrace and beach area which always had plenty of sunbeds

We both got great massages from Alma, definitely the best of our holiday! It is a little bit peculiar that in order to access the sun terrace, guests have to walk through the spa – which is not conducive to creating a tranquil atmosphere in the spa

Knowing Croatia well, we were prepared for having to climb down a ladder into the crystal-clear sea (there is also a very small pebbly bay but you’d need swim shoes to go into the water there)

The Navis’ restaurant is simply outstanding (separate review). We enjoyed one superb dinner on the terrace. The included breakfast buffet was great and offered a lovely variety of dishes

Another minor niggle was the shower above the bath (luckily, we are both fit enough to climb into the bath but it could be an issue for somebody with mobility issues)

I didn’t stay at the hotel but used it occasionally as a beach spot and for a quick bite. The food is very tasty and served quickly. The beach is nice, with paddleboards available for rent at a good price

The room was a small room but for me it was ok. You always hear the hvac system zooming. The location for me was not perfect, there is no beach here just concrete quays and stairs to get into the water

The reception on duty was so helpful sorting out the ferry crossings to korcula for us. Would certainly use the hotel again. Handy to the beach and restaurants

It surprised me that there are beachbeds on the concrete. If you walk 30 minutes there seems to be a gravel beach

Superb hotel with great staff and facilities. The spa is amazing and the rooms are very comfortable. 2 points for improvement; some guests left their garbage in the hallway, which was not picked up

We had a wonderful time in this hotel! Room with a sea view, comfy beds, and great restaurants! Michelin-star restaurant on the top of the building with more than professional presentation of local foods.

Excellent breakfast with a wide selection of sweet and savory options; by Italian standards, you could even have lunch. 😊 The wellness area is very elegant and spacious, with various saunas and a hammam

Second, we had to complain multiple times daily about the barking of dogs in the room next to us, which took away from the resort vibe. Those points aside, it could have been a 10/10

Perfect for a family holiday Next to the sea, nice beach, spacious and comfortable apartment, well-equipped kitchen. The only negative thing is weak WIFI.

Space-full apartment, good service, close to beach, can use indoor pool in hotel nearby. Only Challange is to find it, check in is in hotel Bristol. Parking is also not optimal, recommended to boom upfront

Great rooms, great view, great terrace, great beach!

You can use all facilities and activities from hotel Excelsior, where our 4 year old kid played in Mini Club with Katarina and Jelena from Uragan animation… We were there with a 3 month old baby as well, it was very convenient to move around with a stroller, which made our holidays much easier

Perfect location, nearby center and easy to move around. We had a spacious apartment in villa with a balcony and a great view, very nice swimmimg pool and a lot of plants around

It’s very kids friendly place, I would definitely reccommend for families! We stayed two weeks, had a great time and plan to come again next year :)

50 per day, the garage is actually a good deal. Suggestions for improvement: – A drying rack in the room for swimwear and towels would be helpful, especially if you don’t have a balcony

Both breakfast and dinner were exceptional—top-quality ingredients, beautifully presented. For dinner, there was fresh fish, salmon, tuna… and in the mornings and evenings, prosciutto was always available

For example, if you didn’t bring a beach bag, they provide one in the room for you to use—such a simple gesture, but incredibly practical and appreciated

There were plenty of loungers and shaded areas, so everyone could find their own perfect spot. Parking costs €20 per day, which at first seemed a bit high—but considering that public parking on the street is €25

– In the spa area, it was too hot on the loungers and there was no real way to cool down unless you moved to the pool area in another room. - It would be nice if still tap water was offered free of charge with dinner

At first, we were skeptical about this hotel due to some of the reviews we had read. Nevertheless, we decided to go, keeping our expectations low. To our surprise, the hotel exceeded all our expectations

So if you are not a good swimmer better to take an air mattress or use the infinity pool on windy days

The hotel is located in a handy position for getting about to different restaurants. The facilities at the hotel are excellent, the wellness area with the sauna with the most incredible view - not to be missed

We had booked this hotel with one of the options for an elevator. Upon arrival we found out we had to go up 2 flights of stairs then get an elevator that too with out someone helping us with our bags

It was comfortable but the carpet was a bit tatty and had marks on it. Perhaps there are plan to improve this part of the hotel. Also not ideal having loud, live music that went on until midnight

Hotel feels new, but heavily inderstaffed, although staff in restaurant is pleasant and tries their best to help. Cleaning of rooms is very late, but again for understaffed reason

The location of the hotel is top, you can park the car and go everywhere on foot. The reception is nice and cozy, we were there around Christmas so it was very very nice. Room was spacious and modern and clean

We had a balcony where we could sit and take in the view, the bed was very comfortable indeed and we had all the provisions we needed, including bathrobes and slippers for the lovely pool and spa

This was the most wonderful stay in an elegant hotel along the Croatian Riviera. Our room was sumptuous and luxurious, tastefully decorated with a stunning view over the bay

The hotel is an Austro-Hungarian Empire style building. The rooms are not big but adequate and the service is very good. The hotel's paid parking lot is a bit far away

Our room was 206, I just couldn’t get my head round that we had to go down in the lift from reception not up! Our room had twin beds pushed together, a nice compact shower room, a stocked mini bar with a place over the top for my travel kettle (reception hire kettles too) and a gorgeous view of the marina

Sometimes too cold but opening the patio doors soon warmed it up! We asked for a rubber bath mat for the shower and it was delivered next day. We had bathrobes and slippers. The food (we were half board) was amazing

Just a short walk to bars, shops and restaurants - hotel sits on promenade so plenty to see when in your room/balcony. Would say this is a better hotel for couples than families

Still, it didn’t affect our overall experience too much. We also brought our cat with us, and it was great to see that the hotel is pet-friendly. There were many other guests with animals as well, which was really nice

Wow what a lovely hotel We have been on holiday for a week as a family from Brighton England The restaurant was fantastic, Mary and her team were very welcoming and made meal times comfortable, the choice of food was great even when we had a very picky autistic teenager

Really decent place with amazing buffet, close to the beach and kind staff (and they have a lot)! The spa is pretty small and doesn't come with a pool, which is a downer for a hotel that category

Breakfast is amazing, dinner is ok, it could be better if food is more tasty, dont get me wrong, it is ok but not amazing. Room is big, huge TV, bathroom modern, nothing to complain there

The rooms were quaint and clean. The view was nice out onto the sea however I did not have a patio. The hotel dinner was terrible as the meat was dry and the pasta along with other dishes were cold

This was one of the best hotels I’ve stayed. The breakfast was magnificent and all the workers there. The air condition works just fine, actually we were freezing in the middle of august

The Room heating worked perfectly fine and we couldnt hear a Sound from the outside its very quiet. The rooms are big and have great rituals products to use

We are a family of three and after checking with almost all hotels in the city centre, we ended up getting the last double bed room in Amadria Agava for one night with our son sleeping with us in the same bed

At our number we received not only clean, wonderful room,but also greeting card on our Anniversary day, champagne and beautiful chocolate cake decorated with real roses! It was the best surprise that we have received from the hotels ever ☺️ special thank You to the girl from reception who worked on July 22nd, 2024! She is the best girl at reception desk that we have ever met! You made our wedding day...

The following morning, we went to the front desk to check if it would be possible to extend for one more night, at this time we were happy to stay in the same room and share the bed 😩

The proximity of the port is certainly not in favor, but they still managed to organize the beach so that swimming is comfortable. We enjoyed our staying very much

This is the best hotel in Croatia. They greeted us like Queens with glasses of pink prosecco cookies and nuts. The building has been upgraded beautifully but kept its old world charm

I am pointing this out because often it is said that Opatija and Croatia in general are very expensive. Yes, the food in many restaurants in Opatija is expensive, but there are other with more affordable prices

Highly recommend to go there, because after the small part with stones there is a huge part with sand under the water. In the hotel's surrounding you have a lot of shops and restaurants

Inside this hotel there is a chocolate museum where you can buy chocolate produced in it or upstairs you can eat cakes made with this chocolate

This was our secund stay in this lovley hotel. Employer at the reception were very helpful ,frendly and pleasent,especially Domagoj. Breakfast was delicious,lot of choices ,nice and fresh food

Hotel Savoy is one of the best hotel on Opatija due to its location. Beach Colosseum, the private beach of the hotel was fantastic, the rooms with balcony and see view are wonderfull and relaxing

That is perhaps 50 to 100 yards away from the hotel if you go to the hotel first with your bags then you have to take a long route back to the garage because the road by the hotel is one way but really a very nice place to stay

Loved the hotel and location in Opatia. Our balcony overlooked the Adriatic Sea. Great staff, clean rooms and a very good breakfast. Walking path goes by this property which was a fun way to see the area

We left the beach and asked at reception why we weren't told it wasn't free (or even discounted). The woman at reception was very nice and explained it is a public beach

The hotel should tell you before you go to the beach that it is not included. Maybe the hotel should work out a deal that at least offers a discount to guests

Regarding the beach it is very cramped, a little more space for everyone perhaps removing a few chairs would greatly improve the atmosphere

We were there for 4 bike days and it is a great hotel, with really good food (3 times a day) and friendly staff. The hotel is in front of the beach, the bike tours are really beautiful

Really old building, but it still works. No TV, air conditioning, internet, refrigerant. The beds were too soft for me, but everything else was fine. The people are friendly, the view is awesome, and the beach is near.
