Very nice stay! The rooftop spa was cozy with a beautiful view and a relaxing atmosphere. The lobby bar was also a highlight, with great vibes and live music in the evenings. Overall, a very enjoyable and comfortable experience – would definitely come back.

The room is clean but tiny.. The bed is somewhat small, and pillows are uncomfortable. The buffet spread is good, but you have a very rude staff in Rahina. She was seen slamming the food tags during dinner and breakfast service. We were having our breakfast, she approached me and insisted that we move to another table. I questioned why we had to move when we were already having our food and it was her colleague who directed us to our table. Her reply was plain rude and dismissing, and even said that her colleague didn't know a thing and just walked away. There are plenty of hotels in this area so won't be back here again.

In Sept 24 I booked a Croatian trip with Titan and the first hotel was the Grand Adriatic in Opatjia.This trip has ruined my life yet not a word from the hotel whilst I was there or after my cracked femur.Whilst walking along a dark corridor towards reception there were 2 big unmarked steps with no signs or railings.I ended up with a medial knee condyle fracture of the femur resulting in 2 weeks in hospital and a metal plate and 6 screws put into my right leg.This hotel did not even have the decency to contact me so luckily the tour guide got all my belongings out of the room and to the hospital for me.It has taken me a year to be able to walk again so I feel very angry that this management did nothing.This is apart from the fact that the pool was across the road with no beach.I do hope yellow tape or railings have been put up.

Great hotel, the breakfast had a huge selection to choose from, great pool and pool bar, the staff was splendid. The hall ways had multiple leaks and drywall seeming to be giving at those points with what looked to be like black mold. Seemed to have been an issue for a while as drywall doesnt turn black overnight. Also the door to our unit was very sticky and required force to open and close. Other than those maintenance items everything else was great. I would give it 3.5 stars

At first, we were skeptical about this hotel due to some of the reviews we had read. Nevertheless, we decided to go, keeping our expectations low. To our surprise, the hotel exceeded all our expectations. Both breakfast and dinner were exceptional—top-quality ingredients, beautifully presented. For dinner, there was fresh fish, salmon, tuna… and in the mornings and evenings, prosciutto was always available. The food was truly on another level. The staff in the restaurant were professional, polite, and attentive, which added to the overall positive experience. The rooms were newly renovated with a luxurious feel—excellent bed for sleeping, fluffy pillows and duvets, and plenty of small thoughtful touches that made the stay truly extraordinary. For example, if you didn’t bring a beach bag, they provide one in the room for you to use—such a simple gesture, but incredibly practical and appreciated. The infinity pool, spa, and saunas with breathtaking sea views were just stunning. Honestly, those views alone are worth the price. There were plenty of loungers and shaded areas, so everyone could find their own perfect spot. Parking costs €20 per day, which at first seemed a bit high—but considering that public parking on the street is €25.50 per day, the garage is actually a good deal. Suggestions for improvement: – A drying rack in the room for swimwear and towels would be helpful, especially if you don’t have a balcony. – On the pool terrace, water from the upper level sometimes drips onto the loungers below. This could easily be solved by adding gutters. – In the spa area, it was too hot on the loungers and there was no real way to cool down unless you moved to the pool area in another room. - It would be nice if still tap water was offered free of charge with dinner. Overall excellent experience and we will definitely be coming back soon!

Stayed 3 night, could not sleep two nights because of heavy music (my wife used airpods to kill the noise, but everything was vibrating) complaint in the middle of the night changed nothing. Dont stay there!

A comfortable hotel with cold staff
The hotel is located at a quiet area about 25-minutes walk distance from the bus station and center with beautiful sea view. The room and bedding are comfortable but the bathroom is very dark. The spa center is small. The breakfast coffee is good but the food is not very tasty. The receptionists are not enthusiastic.

We splurged and spent the night. This beautiful hotel. After a delicious buffet dinner we ventured down for a relaxing dip in the hot tub. Felt very good, but the temperature was not as warm as we would have liked. We did not use the other wellness facilities but would have liked to use the red light therapy room if time had allowed! Breakfast was wonderful. Fabulous pillows on the bed and we slept like babies! We felt spoiled!

We spent two ignhts in Grand hotel Adriatic and our overall experience is very good. The hotel is located around 10 minutes from downtown Opatjia, but the walk is really pleasant, with many nice buildings on your way.The hotel room was normal, comfortable, but the garden view was a bit awful, just a parking place.The view from the lobby and the restaurant is wonderful, especially early in the morning or at sunset. The hotel staff was a little unfriendly, not rude but without a smile...The breakfast buffet was great! A wide variety of everything, especially for me who I like sweets for breaksfast, there were pancakes, waffles, muffins,crepes,croissants and many more more!The evening buffet was also very good, with fresh pizzas made in front of us,with less options than in breakfast, but quite sufficient. Since we were travelling with a group with other Greeks, the hotel manager allowded us to use a large room next to the lobby to organize a greek dance night;it was a nice gesture on his behalf. Two tips!If you use the elevators to get to restaurant, don't go to ground floor(0) and climb the stairs. Stop at first floor, turn left and you enter the restaurant. Just before the restaurant there is a gift shop.It has many souvenirs from Croatia and Opatjia, in very reasonable prices and the lady who runs it is by far the best person we met throughout our journey in Croatia.Very friendly, with a smile on her face all the time!Unfortunately I don't remember her name, but congratulations to the hotel manager for putting her in the right place!

Beautiful, but very large hotel. Variety of wellness facilities, excellent food, great rooms, but the mattresses are a little bit worn out. Maybe they should consider about replacement of furniture in rooms. Otherwise, the hotel has an excellent and solid location in Opatija.
