Managed to book a single night stay due to an early start next morning.Well,without doubt one of the best ever hotel experiences ever.From the amazing receptionist the superb room the cafe/bar staff-everything 5 star.This is the place for a truly unforgettable experience.

Just got back from a fabulous 10 night stay at Hotel Osejava. The view was beautiful, hotel was spotlessly clean and modern. Staff were knowledgeable, friendly and helpful. Highly recommend this hotel.

What a tale of two half’s Makarska is! Let’s put it this way - this hotel is in the right half! Wonderful views of the mountains and marina - truly atmospheric setting . A lovely small beach literally next door and a quieter location for town. The lovely old town nearby. The hotel itself is spotless, rooms (well ours 202 was) spacious with good air con. Boutique style, some lovely interior touches with a lovely small pool area. Staff are very polite and efficient. Breakfast plentiful - just a little dull after a week (the coffee machine didn’t work) - the outside dining area is great for breakfast too with super views. On the whole though a great place to stay. No real issues at all. Makarska though has a Benidorm style ***** on the other side of town - where the hotel is sited you’d never guess thankfully!

My husband and I spent 3 nights at this lovely hotel and enjoyed our stay very much. Our room was very clean and spacious. Even though it faced the front we didn’t experience any noise issues at all. All staff we encountered were friendly and helpful (more on that below). Breakfast was plentiful with a variety of choice and set us up nicely for the day ahead. It is a beautiful hotel and we highly recommend it! We loved the location of the hotel with the small beach right next door where we enjoyed swimming in the beautiful sea. We walked everywhere. Loads of restaurants, bars and shops were nearby. We were actually 1 day late for our stay due to car trouble. I spoke to the lovely Ivana on the phone the day before we were supposed to arrive. She assured me our room would be available whenever we got there and our reservation wouldn’t be canceled. She was true to her word which was such a relief. I also want to give a special shout out to the young man who was working at night reception one of the nights we were there. He was very helpful in assisting my husband when he was ill and needed to go to a hospital at 1am. My husband was prepared to walk, but this lovely young man actually insisted on driving my husband to the hospital. He went above and beyond and we are extremely grateful. I only wish I knew his name to properly acknowledge him! Thankfully my husband was ok and we continued on our trip with no hiccups, but we will not forget his kindness.

The hotel is exceptional for its location, 95% of the staff are exceptional. Thank you to everyone who made our stay at the hotel more enjoyable, at the reception, the perfect manager - always ready for guests, the restaurant with the amazing Nešo, who advised on the choice of food and wine.

Excellent hotel customer service means going beyond expectations—and Hotel Osejava truly delivered for us. We arrived in Split on 27th July, only to discover that our luggage had been left behind in Amsterdam, along with many other passengers’ bags. Sorting out the paperwork at the airport took a long time, and to make matters worse, our drive to Makarska was through a dramatic thunderstorm. Despite all this, Hotel Osejava made us feel genuinely cared for. Before we arrived, my wife sent them a message on Instagram explaining our situation. When we finally checked in, the reception staff were incredibly kind and understanding. They provided us with essentials like toothpaste, toothbrushes, and other toiletries, which we really needed. To top it off, they had arranged a plate of food in our room, knowing we’d arrive late and exhausted. They even organized a parking space for us, which was a huge help. This thoughtful and proactive approach made a difficult day much easier. It’s rare to find service this attentive, and we’re truly grateful to the team at Hotel Osejava. Highly recommended!

Absolute gem of a hotel in a perfect location. Rooms were clean and the staff were fantastic, nothing was too much trouble and always eager to help. Food was good and reasonably priced and would recommend breakfast. Beach for swimming is a minutes walk and behind the hotel are some great walks with paths to Nugal beach. The seafront is on your doorstep and only a 5 minute walk to the old town. Will definitely be coming back to this hotel soon. 10/10 Ian, Isle of Arran.

Wonderfull hotel in an excellent location with tremendeous service and friendly staff. Very good rooms, tasty breakfast with a view and nice and relaxing pool area. Well worth every cent.

We enjoyed staying at the hotel. The staff could not have been more helpful! However, it was a pity the hair dryer had a connection problem:-(
