Reviews
The pool is tiny with few loungers or parasols. The beach is crowded, shallow, and open to locals, so it feels far from exclusive despite premium prices. Every inch is taken, there are no loungers reserved for hotel guests, and the sharp stones mean you need mats. No pool or beach towels are provided.
Bars and food are very expensive compared to the nearby town (€6.50–€9.70 for 125ml of wine here vs €4.50 for 200ml locally). The beautiful rooftop terrace with stunning sea and mountain views sits unused with no furniture, while the beach bar closes at 7pm.
Dinner is loud, crowded, and carb-heavy with overcooked meat, breakfast similar — juice is squash, croissants vanish early, decaf coffee costs extra. Many guests work on laptops, adding to the business-hotel feel.
Overall, the location and staff are the highlight, but the hotel is dated, overpriced, and lacks comfort. I’d sleep here if included in a package, but eat and drink elsewhere
They don't label allergens properly, when I pointed out that the hazelnut ice cream wasnt labelled at all the restaurant manager laughed at me. Obviously doesn't matter if someone's dies from anaphylactic shock in the restaurant while the staff tidy up around them. Reception staff are also rude and unkind.
I stayed in another Aminess hotel, had a huge asthma attack due to faulty air con/heating/perfume dispensers in the room and asked to change to this hotel. They didn't even bother to relay my medical info, put me in a room above the bar, full of cigarette smoke and when I closed the window the heating came on. No one knew about my issue. No one cared. I asked reservation ls to cancel my stay as I wanted to leave early (no sleep, extremely ill, dry throat, tired, migraine, vomiting)
Their response? NOTHING. They ignored me for four days so they could force me to pay for the room. I paid for the room in full and the manager told me he would have reservations process a refund under the circumstances. After they charged me and got rid of me I arrived home and they ignored me for two weeks, saying a 10% discount. A bowl of soup and some food vouchers (like I was a stray dog) and the offer of a change to the most disgusting room in the hotel was enough to appease me.
These hotels, the 'Aminess' chain. Are falling to pieces, not repaired, pretending to be four star (you have to pay for water with all inc) the food is appalling. The staff could not care less about their jobs. The level of service and the state of the accomodations are quite frankly disgusting for the price. There are some exceptional hotels nearby with vastly better facilities for the price range. And if you choose to book here, after reading this review (from someone who has spent thirty years working in hotels and travelling) then they will take your money and make fools of you. So be it. If you are stupid enough. Go ahead.
Located at the end of Supetar
One lady who checked us in was friendly so was a cleaning lady who was very helpful. The gardens are nice . However that’s was the only plus.
The room needs serious renovations and clearly haven’t had any work done on it in decades.
The food although included is rubbish
I walked in had a look at the buffet and filt my plate . Most was uneatable. The water melon must of been cut weeks before.
We booked a deluxe room with a deep bath and a queen bed. They gave us a ro with a shower and 2 single beds. The AC didn't work neither the TV.
We asked for another room. They sent us to a new room without a bath and still with 2 single bed.
At the end of our stay, they charged us 5euros due to city taxes, even though we had already paid taxes...
I wouldn't come back
Dirty towels and bed sheets, but great service and nice area
