Grand hotel in it's hayday probably .Area outside hotel gives impression of decline .Lots of feral cats outside hotel and on terrace constantly . Rooms very dated and smelly .Ashtray gives a indication of cause .Balcony ruined by bird 🐦 muck everywhere.Electrics look dangerous and fire extinguisher not found although alarm in ceiling .Bed good although constant noise from genarator keeps one awake...

My wife and I had a delightful holiday. It's a very good hotel for the price. The food was delicious, and the sea and pool were beautiful. The overall service quality met our expectations. The only downside was the staffing levels seemed a bit small; the staff were attentive but clearly lacking. Overall, we were satisfied; it was a pleasant experience.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Oscar Hotel. A little out of town but easily accessible by taxi or hotel shuttle in less than 10 minutes (or a 20 min walk). Comfortable rooms, large palm strewn gardens with 3 enticing pools and a small beach. The evening buffets showcase a variety of local dishes, something different every night. Our first visit was 5 years ago when the hotel was showing signs of lack of maintenance. Since then it’s deteriorated quite considerably. This hotel and the staff are exceptional. My husband had a bad back and could not walk and they did everything to accommodate us, even calling an ambulance to take him to hospital, and assisting the ambulance crew in carrying him downstairs. Stayed here recently and enjoyed it very much. Lovely spacious room on the ground floor with our own designated chairs and loungers outside. The staff were friendly and helpful. You could walk into town but it is a busy road and not a pleasant walk. The local dolmus stops outside the door and runs hourly. This same bud continues up to Bellapais. This is a very pleasantly situated hotel within a short drive to Kyrenia and beaches and a long walk uphill to the village of Bellapais - it is worth the walk or drive up - the rooms are roomy with comfortable beds and a good shower plus we had a balcony overlooking the pool. We have stopped at this hotel on many occasions and have never been disappointed, being within 15-20 walk to Kyrenia it’s is ideally situated for all aspects of a good, interesting holiday. Nice food, nice relaxing spaces and very accommodating management.

To be in the center of Kyrenia is really nice. You can go every where in a short time. The room was good but old and they didn't pay attention to the furniture. We stayed here for the night while we visited Kyrenia harbour. They are located in an A location. Everything is walkable from the hotel and the room was just beautiful. We’ve been on both south and north Cyprus and this was the cosiest room we stayed in. The bed on the balcony was the cherry on the top! The employees are very nice and they welcome you with a warm heart. They speak English very well...

The hotel is very classy but most important the cocktails are the best I tasted in many places I visited. Only fresh ingredients and most important the staff is very friendly and hospitality is number one in this hotel. The price is too low for the service they offer !

I saw a sign listing 12 Turkish brewed craft ales and I had to find out more details. Walked down an alley way and found a secluded place to enjoy a meal it was The Avenue Hotel . We just had a coffee and one craft ale as it was only 10am. Excellent coffee and I tried a craft beer not bad but very expensive at 135TL. But it was an experience . Don't think we will go back.

Good place to stay in case you need only a bedroom. The rooms are clean and well arranged, some electric appliances are available which is a big +. I give 4* due to the location: to get there by car is an adventure. Anyway it is recommended as a place to stay in, it's really a homelike place.

Very cheap rates and the location is perfect. There are many restaurants and bars nearby. It's not close to the road so you get a peaceful time sleeping. The staffs at the reception are very friendly and polite.

Water slides are OK. Health and safety doesn't exist there. No life guards. No one making sure no accidents happen on the bigger slides.
