Where to stay in Kyrenia

Absolutely fantastic. Excellent staff, food and cleanliness. Wonderful pool with towels provided for the sun beds. Robust and large umbrellas. Very clean toilets. Excellent food at very reasonable prices. I have not stayed overnight so I can’t comment on that!

We had the most fantastic lunch beside the pool. The food was amazing and more. Freshly prepared and cooked to perfection We could not find one fault The service was exceptional. Would definitely recommend a visit if you expect good good, excellent surroundings and service and above all value for money. Will definitely be visiting again soon

The hotel is not bad, the breakfast is delicious, traditional Turkish, quiet, the room had everything you need, the location is convenient, there is a road nearby, where minibuses run, which you can use to travel around the city and nearby villages. It takes 10-15 minutes to walk to the sights of Girne.

Lovely hotel and staff more than willing to assist etc. Room was a bit tired, but the pool area set up was super, with a small seating area and bar, loads of sunbeds and use of the hammocks. We will be going back.

Lovely hotel to stay. Main desk service very helpful. Breakfast delicious. Lovely swimming pool area with the acces to the sea. Chef could improve his skills and actually serve what is on the menu. He could also improve his knowledge about food allergens.

Great location and good value for price. Rooms with sea view and friendly staff. I only recommend a little renovation, as the interiors are a bit used. The breakfast is just fantastic!

Very lovelly and calm, beautiful place.

Fantastic atmosphere at the pool where you can have a pleasant breakfast at the pool after visiting the mini zoo in the botanical garden. The quality of running, service, taste, hygiene was mediocre. Go, go, enter the pool, have coffee and leave.

Good size room, nice location, breakfast was Turkish style and more than adequate. Staff were all very friendly only stayed one night but would happily return again

Very good hotel - highlights are the staff, service is excellent and. Breakfast...it's very good.. It's a little far away from the nearest town - but there are restaurants around - Sultan across the street is highly recommended. Parking is easy and pool looks lovely - we went in winter so didn't try it. Really enjoyed the stay - would definitely go back.

Nice clean hotel. Lovely pool area with plenty of beds. Good choices at breakfast, freshly prepared eggs/omelets etc. We had one evening meal at the hotel, simple food, very nice and reasonable price. Great staff, very friendly and helpful. A little out of town, but bus service ok. A bus timetable in foyer would have been helpful. Couple of restaurants and shops within walking distance.

The room was clean and tidy, the service was very good, and they even offered us tea and coffee for free.

The hotel organizes summer parties. I went twice. Both times there was a fight, someone got stabbed. The police came. If you want to end the night with the police, go.

We have stayed at the 'MOUNTAIN VIEW HOTEL' KYRENIA, on many occasions now, and every year it seems to get better with age. A really lovely, friendly hotel, which has been going for almost 20 years now, with many returning customers year after year, it shows you what a gem of a place this is. It's only a 3 star hotel, so don't expect all the trimmings of a 5 star, but for the price, you cannot fault...

Really nice accommodation, staff are extremely welcoming and look after you in your best interests made me feel at home and anything I needed help with they was there too support, as this is my first time travelling alone, affordable prices, good food, I will definitely be coming back here, really decent nice people, 10 out of 10!

The hotel grounds are spacious and offer a wide range of activities. The beach is beautiful and well-maintained, with no rocky areas. The restaurant and food are delicious. We only experienced a few issues with room service. Room cleaning needs some improvement.

Very nice hotel with good facilities. Can be a little busy at breakfast & the kitchen struggle to keep up with demand at times. Thankfully we had a wonderful waitress - Nurcan - who looked after us and made sure we got what we needed.

Rooms were clean however we were given the smallest room despite we have 2 little babies. Overnight stay is 4000 tl including breakfast and dinner. I and my wife stayed at MC palace a couple weeks ago. This was my 2nd time and i have to say hotel really did exceeded my expectation once again. What a fabulous rooftop bar, with the best views of the whole sweep of Kyrenia Harbour and its castle, backed by the mountains. We came here three times for cocktails - good and reasonably priced - and wished we’d discovered it sooner. A hidden gem in Girne.

We spent a day at the hotel. It has an excellent location and view. The terrace was lovely too. The staff was very friendly.

Good location, rooms are small in need of refurbishment, Dilen at reception was lovely, but had no maid service for entire stay. Bar in roof was ok, decent cocktails.

Absolutely stunning location, the beach, the pool, the restaurant, but the most incredible thing was the dining on Sunday, where they cooked the lamb in the ground the old way and served in front of everyone. One of the experience must have. Highly recommend 👌

We visited for the day, as local beaches are litter-strewn in northern Cyprus it seems, but hotel-managed ones aren't. This is a lovely beach and facilities, great food, clean sea, and very lovely staff at the site.

Cheap but really nice. Everything in one place. One is the best beach in TRNC.

The beach is cool, clean and was also not to crowded. You pay for each person 25 Turkish Lira in order to have your private space on the beach, which Is a very fair price. If you want to relax and enjoy the sun this beach is a great spot. We checked also the food on the restaurant that you can eat but we decided not to eat it. It was in our opinion too expensive and didn’t look so good.

Very quiet at this time of year but even so service and food were of a high standard. Rooms were clean, air con worked and any minor issues were attended to promptly. Well situated for visiting Kyrenia and exploring northern Cyprus. Very few tourists around and if you enjoy exploring rather than sitting about it's a good time of year to go.

Given we have friends who have stayed in Ship Inn on 3 separate occasions it was a simple choice for us to select for two days before our ferry to Turkiye. The staff were polite, the presentation spotless and general ambience relaxing. We would definitely recommend when visiting Kyrenia

Excellent hotel but in front of main road.

Had a good night’s sleep there despite all the shortcomings such as terrible to no wi-fi and mediocre hygiene! The bed sheets were nice and clean but the toilet hadn’t been properly cleaned before me. There was the shaving gilette of the previous guest and some hair on the wall of the bathroom.

It is difficult to reach without a car. But it is in a very nice location. It is in a quiet place. Since we rented a car, it was not a problem. The sheets and linens were always clean. We stayed a few times and found it clean every time. The toilets in the bathrooms are just a little old. The WC brushes should be renewed. When we went in the winter, we had a heating problem with the air conditioner...

We stayed here with 3 friends for 1 night on our trip. The room was clean, there was hot water. We stayed in a duplex room, the air conditioning was a bit insufficient for heating but it wasn't a big problem for us. We were satisfied with the price-benefit balance.

The hotel is a bit tired but there is improvement being made over the winter period. There is a gem in this hotel and that is the owner who couldn't do enough for us, and her cooking is exceptional as she uses every fruit that is grown in the garden surrounding the hotel particularly for jam's and marmalade ect.. I stayed at the Lapida Gardens for a week over Christmas on a walking holiday with Solos. There were 13 of us on our group and a few other guests on other days. Nice and authentic hotel in Lapta. The decoration with antiques makes you relive the centuries of cypriot history. There is a beautiful garden at the Hotel with a pool, where you can enjoy the mediterranean sun and have a great outlook on the kyrenia mountain range.

I definitely would not rate this place higher than 3 stars. The room is comfortable, and the few staff were helpful. The hotel is not near the beach, and it’s not safe to walk along the road. Historic port with ancient castle and authentic buildings. Nice to visit. Very lively. Restaurants are touristic, but turkish food is good and prices are fair. It could be a little cleaner. Traffic is a disaster and that even pollutes the fresh sea air that Cyprus is so rich for.

It has become much better here, because repairs have recently been made, the areas where cafes and restaurants are located have been expanded, and it is convenient to walk here. There are yachts and boats all around. You can book a yacht or pleasure boat tour, with lunch or dinner. A small port, not very spectacular. A mix of small boats, pleasure and fishing. On the shore several restaurants with terraces. Not very crowded, around 2:00 PM. The area looks decent, seems recently renovated. In the immediate vicinity is the castle, in a rather bad condition.

Normally a very busy, bustling area with lots of restaurants competing for your business. Be determined and try them all to collect the best deal. Midday is generally quieter and you can check out the menus in peace.

Very locally placed complex Musthapha and his family are very good hosts nothings a problem very spacious rooms balcony minutes from Kyrenia money exchanges car hire all local casino right next door Big pool. They serve food all day speak perfect English all.the sports shown there U will bump into a few expats during your stay who.like the info from home. Would reccomend it
