P. Ioannou Flats in Larnaka

The room was absolutely disgusting even after waiting several hours for it to be so call cleaned. All they did was throw water over the dirty floor. Washing up left on the draining board, bin full, toilet has skid marks and the toilet seat was hanging off. Every other flat surface has loose tobacco on and the sheets and towels were stained and the fridge was not working. We could not stay here and were forced to drive 100km home. I Have contacted the host several times and had no reply to my request for a full refund. Until this morning when they phoned me to call me a mother fu@#ing pig and I could kiss his A@@!! .

This place had mold and a broken shower. The customer service was terrible. we left after one night, with headaches from the mold. Couldn't get a refund and the owner insults us when we asked, saying basically he's got out money what can we do. See the attached photo.

I booked a room here through *********** and when I got to the hotel they told me they actually don't have a room and I should cancel my booking on the webside and go find another hotel. At 10 PM. A single woman who jut got to Cyprus for the very first time. The guy was not even speaking English properly.

I booked a room at this hotel through *********** and when I got to to the adress there was nobody at the reception even though on the site it was mentioned that the reception is open till 22:00. After more that 15 minutes since my taxi driver called the number displayed on the door, time spent standing alone in the middle of the street in front of the door, a guy came and, after making me wait another 20-30 minutes, while he was talking on the phone, he told me, in a very broken english, that they actually don't have a room available for me because the room they have is for another reservation made by a person who was going to pay cash, and I should cancel my reservation on the website and go find another hotel. At 10 PM. A single woman who just got to Cyprus for the very first time. I asked to talk to the manager and he kept on telling me that the manager doesn't answer the phone, while he was actually talking to someone. I told him I will not leave and I will not cancel my reservation from my side because I will be charged cancellation fee. While I was there a family who was staying there came very angry to complain that they never had hot water since they came and they could not take shower. After he saw I was serios about not leaving he finally called his boss and passed me the phone. The manager or whoever he was didn't even have the decency to apologise to me and he was really full of himself explaining to me not to be worried, I would get my money back because he didn't care about such small amount of money, he has a lot of money he manages more hotels even 4* Hotels. (If he manages all as bad ast this one...) I told him that if he doesn't care about such a small amount he should come and give me the money. Of course he didn't. In the end he said he would write to *********** to explain the situation and to cancel the reservation free of charge for me and that I would have the money back in 3 days, which I don't think he actually did because when I wrote complain to customer service on *********** they emailed me back that they didn't know anything. And I still didn't receive my money as it is going to take 7-12 days.

I have never stayed in a place so filthy! Even though they knew my cousin and I were not a couple, they gave us a small room with a double bed. Our shower room was without a light bulb for two nights despite telling reception more than once. We were moved to a larger apartment with two single beds after three nights but I don’t think it had been cleaned after the previous occupant as we found dirty toe nail cuttings on the bathroom floor! I had to clean the drawers before being able to put my clothes in and the cleaning cloth was black with dirt. No pillow or mattress protection covers on the beds just a thin sheet directly on the mattress which didn’t fit properly so you ended up sleeping directly on a mattress that so many others had slept on. Yuk! Drawer handles were broken, the kettle was so old it leaked so much water it was all over the floor, which was dangerous and the replacement kettle did not work! Despite telling them about the filth and the dirty toe nail cuttings daily, we never saw a cleaner in the 9 days we were there. I called the owner of the apartments and told him of all the problems and when he didn’t like what he heard, he put the phone down on me. Absolutely no customer service skills! We have since looked around Larnaca and found some lovely spotless places to stay for less money. You would have to be desperate to book this place!

I am extremely disappointed with my recent stay at this hotel. Upon returning from dinner, we were horrified to find our room infested with cockroaches. It was a repulsive sight, and we immediately had to grab our belongings and leave. We approached the staff with photos and videos as evidence, but they refused to refund our money. Additionally, the room was disgustingly dirty. This level of negligence and lack of customer service is unacceptable. I strongly advise against staying at this hotel if you value cleanliness and a respectful attitude from the staff.

Old fashion style apartment, basic furniture though nice it has a rack for drying clothes and a fully equiped kitchen.

Unfortunatelly we had a big problem with cockroaches and dealt with them ourselves as it is selfcateribng.
Also no wifi, tv, hairdrier
