Demetriou Paradisos Hills in Lyso

A really happy stay. We arrived to a warm greeting and a very comfortable room with a magnificent panoramic view. Everything was clean and spotless. We had the Cypriot Sunday lunch during our stwhich was a special treat as it was mother's day. Soulla, Helen and Phil could have not done more for us. We enjoyed the pool, the garden, the company of guests and our drives through the Paphos Forest and to the Akamas peninsula.

My wife and I were welcomed with open arms by the family that run this wonderful hotel. It’s difficult to pick one part of our stay at Paradisos Hills as being the special part: the superb Greek Cypriot food – plentiful, imaginative, and tasty….or the room with a balcony and a view to rival anything in the world, or taking coffee on the extensive decking….or even using the newly opened spa…wonderful! You only realise how quiet and peaceful it is when you notice the absence of the usual background hum of traffic in the distance…there’s none here, just the sound of the birds in the trees…a ‘Retreat’ indeed, somewhere to recharge your batteries. If you want to see other parts of the island then car hire is recommended and drive a short distance to the lovely village of Polis just 15-20 minutes drive from the hotel, the roads are quiet as you drive through other villages on your way: Meladeia, Peristerona and Steni. We also went to Latchi and the Baths of Aphrodite. When it came time to go we said goodbye with hug from the family. Thanks to the ‘Paradisos Hills’ family: Michael, Nikki, Soula, Philip and the always lively Helen. Can’t wait for our return

Along with friends, my wife & I came to Paradisos Hills on an Art holiday - our second at this wonderful place. As the name suggests, its ambience is unpressured & totally relaxing … a peaceful & quiet paradise. Its surrounding location is lovely, with birdsong, wild flowers & natural beauty, The proprietors are a friendly, welcoming Cypriot family, who all speak English well, and are keen to make one’s stay comfortable. Although not 'haut cuisine’, the food is good and plentiful, with considerable variety & choice.

Beautiful location in the hills close to Lysos village with fabulous views and lots of space to relax. Nothing was too much trouble for the staff and we had authentic delicious and home cooked food at every meal. Great walks and trails from the hotel in a conservation area. Rooms were well equipped and immaculate. Our group went to develop our art skills - we had a wonderful time. Many thanks to Phillipos, Helene, Soula and Nicki

This is a superb experience . The family could not be more attentive, and great value. The surrounding views are stunning and the rooms spacious,clean and comfortable. There is a variety of fresh and home cooked food. I recommend this as a tranquil holiday escape

Family run hotel, nothing too much trouble, wonderful local cuisine and great value for money. A perfect spot to relax, walk and enjoy the views over Cyprus' western hills. The sea is only a 20 minute drive away and the local woods and hills are full of interest for birdwatchers, naturalists and ramblers. Beautiful.

This hotel is in a beautiful location with stunning views and a really peaceful, relaxed feel to it. I stayed at Paradisos Hills to run an art holiday with my husband and a lovely group of people. We were made so welcome and the facilities were ideal for our needs, including a large function room where we could paint. Outside, the patio area and views from our rooms offered unrivalled scenes across the landscape down to the sea – inspiration everywhere you looked! The food was authentic, home cooked Cypriot cuisine which was delicious....we never stopped eating. An amazing place to unwind and enjoy the beauty of Cyprus. Highly reccommended!

WOW WOW. Everything exceeded all expectations. It was warm and loving, the flexibility of the staff, the place and the view are simply breathtaking. We are already looking forward to coming back again! We arrived with a large group which required a lot of work and patience and the staff was simply warm and family-like throughout!!! BIG BIG RECOMMEND!!

This was the most beautiful experience! The place is amazing and has the friendliest staff I’ve ever seen on my travels. The hotel is perfect for families and groups. I will definitely go back
