Casale Panayiotis in Kalopanayiotis

Located within the centre of the village with accommodation spread out across the village. The first issue you face is parking...you basically have to find parking somewhere in the village as there is no dedicated parking lot (some people park just outside the village centre on the other side of the bridge). Our check-in experience was a bit long-winded and there was no welcome drink or similar. We were allocated a superior studio room which was rustic and cosy with an open fire. It also had air conditioning, coffee machine and a complimentary mini bar. We were given a few complimentary coupons to use for the glass funicular lift which takes you to a higher level of the village. However, we were surprised that guests staying at the hotel still had to pay an extra €35 per person to use the Spa facilities. This was even more surprising given that there was no natural spring water being piped into the Spa due to an issue with the supply. There's not a lot to see in the village but it is nice hiking territory and the Monastery of Saint John Lampadistis is well worth a visit. We dined at the hotel's Byzantium restaurant which was reasonable value for the well executed dishes they served. Breakfast was a buffet spread which was fine but the ambience was a little like a cafe. Overall, it was nice to see the village but we were happy that we had only booked the one night.

this is the perfect spot if you want to enjoy a break in the mountainous woods of Cyprus. of course it takes a lot of driving in winding roads and once you've arrived you have to climb up to the room with your luggage. but once you're there it is some kind of paradise. everything been tought of in every little detail. the rustic atmosphere of the living room is great, and when you lite a fire it is splendid . very good beds linens. in a cozy bedroom. the bathroom is cozy too breakfast is of really very high standard , and then after breakfast you go to enjoy some sunshine in the grass in lounge chairs facing the valleys and wood covered mountains very good restaurant on the spot. we'll be back that's for sure

Love this hotel. It just keeps getting better. Theres a super homely feel to everything, the staff are amazing and food is soooooo good. If you are vegan I’d recommend emailing them before you go as while there are vegan options on the menu, they are limited and they can get more ready for you. We love having a fireplace in all the rooms and the nature trails around the village are spectacular.

Perfect stay in the mountains. The room was very spacious, clean and with a traditional touch. The staff was polite and welcoming, both at the reception and in the restaurant. The hotel has very nice views.

We stayed one night in Casale Panayiotis and loved every moment. The hotel blends beautifully into the village and creates a truly authentic mountain atmosphere. The staff were extremely welcoming, both in their emails before we arrived and during our stay. We were upgraded and surprised with complimentary wine, cake, and a birthday card, which made the visit feel very special.

Breakfast was excellent, with plenty of variety and especially good yogurt and honey. The restaurant also serves a very good dinner, and the meze is highly recommended.

Overall, a wonderful stay and a perfect mountain getaway. Highly recommended.

An amazing luxury boutique and spa hotel located in the heart of one of the most beautiful villages in Cyprus! The rooms are rustic style harmonized with the rest of the environment! Stone building with fire places and beautiful yards its like your living in an fairy tale! Excellent hospitality and tasty food!!

Charming Stay
​This hotel is absolutely amazing. It comprises a collection of old village houses beautifully renovated to a stunning outcome.
​The room was exceptionally comfortable and clean, the restaurants were excellent, and the breakfast was superb. The spa, in particular, is a truly first-class experience.
​The only potential disadvantage is the access to some rooms and hotel facilities, which involves steep slopes and many stairs.
