Aphrodite Family Eco Camping in Neo Chorio

I highly recommend staying here and using it as a base to trek across the Akamas. There’s tasty food at the restaurant, a cosy bar, two beaches, and clean, hot showers. The highlight is the campsite team—very helpful and welcoming. Nearby you’ll find the Baths of Aphrodite (perfect for cooling off), a botanical garden, a bird-viewing lookout, and plenty of amazing trails. I recommend the Aphrodite Trail (~8 km) and a bigger loop—Smilgin Trail, the lighthouse, the tip of Akamas, and the coastal section (~31 km). It’s an easy route, but there are long stretches without water sources.

The atmosphere is so relaxed and peaceful, making it the perfect escape from the noises of everyday life.

The views are absolutely WOW! Everything about the camp is designed with care for nature, which makes the experience even more special.

My wife and I booked a two-person glamping hut and though very basic, it served our needs as expected. The mattress was large and square, and other fixtures included a small chest of drawers, bedside table, stool, waste bin, mirror, desk fan, plus two outside chairs and a table + ashtray. The bed included sheets, bedspread, 2x pillows and pillow cases. The hut had one internal and one external fixed LED light, plus 2x single socket-outlets. Take a small extension cord if you have to charge mobile devices.

The site itself has a bar, basic restaurant (for breakfast, lunch and dinner, which are all extra cost), two ablution blocks (toilets/sinks/showers), a laundry, children's play area and cooking zones for anyone needing to cook their own meals. There is also plenty of designated on-site parking.

Website is very informative and explains other features, plus photos. All-in-all, an excellent experience and we enjoyed the peace, quiet and tranquility of the location. All staff members were very helpful and genuinely friendly. Word of warning - music, etc., is not permitted to be played 'out loud', so bring your headphones.

It is my absolute favourite place. The toilets and showers are always clean, breakfast is available, and there’s even a nice restaurant and bar with delicious food at reasonable prices. The atmosphere is peaceful, the employees are welcoming and friendly and I always leave feeling calm and refreshed.

The Campground is amazing. We have been in a wooden hut, those are all facing to the ocean with a beautiful view and a little terrace in front. When you go down a few steps you find a little hidden Lagoon. The food in the restaurant was very good and the prices are more than fair. The persons working for Aphrodite are the kindest and most helpful people we met so far. We were in need for medical help and their staff didn't hesitate to take us to the hospital and take care of everything. They even offered us another night on their campground as we couldn't sleep there as planned because of the time at the hospital.

Excelent location, great prices, clean and tidy. Its a very peaceful place suitable for novice and advanced campers. Very helpful staff that cares for the visitors. Resonable prices at bar and at restaurant. A mini market is also available for the visitors. Tottaly recomended

Loved their facilities. I didn't expect to get my own electricity socket and wifi in a camping :). I didn't book a TeePe (I was intending to use my tent in the open) but even in that case they make sure that you get either artificial shade or shed from trees.... Showers and toilets were clean. Amenities include a fancy restaurant/bar, and you also have the option to have buffet breakfast for 8 euros. You even get to use the camping's very own 'green lagoon'. Don't expect it to be an organized beach with sunbeds, but it's a quiet place to swim and enjoy the sea...

Well organise place, nice and tide . Sanitary facilities always clean . Quiet area , suitable for families or couples, easy access. We loved the place , food not perfect but reasonable prices . Totally recommend… Needs some more places for stove cooking, for our own food , not possible to cook here because there is only 1 place and it is very sunny almost prohibitive. All and all it is a nice place with the most extravagant sunrise! Guest should be more respectful to the rules as far as the common quiet hours .
