Staff provide attentive and friendly service, with quick responses to special needs such as mobility scooter ramps and safety equipment in bathrooms. Rooms are spacious, clean, and well-maintained, especially in the newer section, with daily housekeeping and towel changes. Food quality is good with a varied buffet offering and themed dinner nights; breakfast is highly praised for its variety. Entertainment is lively and engaging, featuring daily activities and evening shows that appeal to families and solo travelers alike. Multiple pools, including heated indoor and outdoor options, plus direct access to the sea for snorkeling and swimming. Convenient shuttle bus service to Paphos for €5 return, offering an affordable alternative to taxis. Location is somewhat isolated, requiring taxis or the shuttle bus to reach central Paphos, which may be inconvenient for some guests. Some rooms, especially studios and older sections, are considered basic or in need of renovation by some guests. Pool depth at 1.4 meters may not suit all swimmers, and the rocky beach requires caution entering the water. Evening entertainment volume and style received mixed opinions; some found music too loud or repetitive. Limited nearby dining and shopping options outside the hotel; guests must plan accordingly.

This hotel is brilliant, and was the most friendly and helpful to me for our stay of one week. I am disabled and use a small mobility scooter to get around. Everything I asked for was provided in quick time, and twice there was more provided, to assist me to use the shower even more safely. They provided additional slip mats and a suction hand rail. The hotel is very clean, and rooms are cleaned daily and towels changed. The food was exactly what you would expect from an all inclusive and very good. The breakfast porridge is particularly lovely. When I told the reception that there was a 50mm step to our balcony that was just too much for my scooter, a ramp was provided within an hour, which made the access perfect. The only downside with the hotel, is that it is just a bit too far from Pathos centre, and we needed to use taxis to go in. I feel sure that the walk for those able would only take 55mins, at a brisk pace, to the harbour. All the staff were great, and particularly Christel on the reception. The evening entertainment is very good and certainly rounds off your day very well. The hotel has fantastic sea views and I would happily go again.

Myself and my daughter first visited two years ago and loved everything about our trip. So when it came to booking a holiday last year, despite trawling through numerous other holiday spots, we decided to make a return visit. We originally booked for the two of us in a sea view one bedroom apartment for 10 days over the school Easter holidays. Then hubby decided to come too :) Our room 704 was lovely - it was a one bedroom apartment so there was a double bedroom and in the living area one of the settees was made up as a bed. There was a table and chairs and had it been self catering, facilities were in a small kitchenette but put away for our stay. As we were all-inclusive we only ever used the kettle, the fridge and the sink anyway. On arrival, there was a welcome plate of fruit and a bottle of cava (which we forgot about and left in the fridge when we left!). The balcony to the room was huge and had a great view over the pool and the sea. Our one issue was that there was only two chairs on the balcony and we probably would have used it a lot more if there had been three. I'm sure it would have been rectified if any of us had thought to ask as any other issues (such as a lack of plugs in either the bathroom or kitchen) were dealt with very promptly. Unfortunately we didn't have the best weather for the first couple of days of our stay - there had been a fair amount of rain prior to our visit and I think we caught the tail end of it so we ended up being out and about a lot more. So much for my plan to chill by the pool for 10 days! We'd loved the cove on our first visit but as the sea was rougher we only managed to visit once. It did mean that we made use of the pool and despite it being cold as you first got in, you got used to it quite quickly as long as you were moving. I loved the AquaGym the one day I got to try it too. A previous reviewer mentioned the steps - I have fibromyalgia so found these steep to climb out of - something more accessible for those less able would be a lovely addition. On our third day in, after a trip to Lidl where they'd spied electric scooters en route my husband and daughter went back out and hired some. Big mistake - an hour or so later and a mile walk back from where it happened - both of them came back in shock, with my daughter sporting a bloody and bruised knee and a fat lip!! After a swim that morning (where we'd been impolitely asked to leave by the spa staff for being too loud with our swimming in the indoor pool) we started chatting just outside to the lifeguard and one of the WAMAS staff on his first day - I think it was Tony but not sure. When my daughter came back in a complete state, both of these lovely gentlemen looked after her and dealt with her injury. The lifeguard redressed it the following day and both of them made sure she was OK for the rest of the stay. Plans obviously changed but knowing we could take the shuttle bus and not have to walk far, meant we could

Akti Hotel is an excellent choice for anyone seeking relaxation,a beautiful environment, and great service. And if there is one reason we would return, it is definitely Sofoklia , who truly makes the difference

This hotel is amazing the chef(s) make incredibly good food the view from the front of the hotel is incredible, and Anis who's part of the entertainment staff who's sadly leaving is wonderful, funny and kind he can light up your day in an instant he's what makes this hotel special the rooms are nice the beds are comfy, and if you come here I recommend that you get the drink from the bar called Cinderella it's tastes so good, and overall I'd recommend you come to this hotel, it's worth the money and it's a nice place to relax, you can also walk to the harbor and footgolf/ golf the hotel also gives varies of activity to do such as shuffelbourd, killer pool, killer darts and so much more you might even be awarded with a bottle of wine, can't forget about Anis he's an absolute legend

We first visited here in April 2025 and again last November. We are now back for a third time and it is better than ever! What makes this place so special are the staff. There are many familiar faces who recognised us too. There is true customer care and the drinks service is even more efficient in the evening as they have an iPad to take orders and someone else makes them whilst another waiter brings them. We don’t know everyone’s name but a shoutout for Babita who is so lovely, always smiling. The entertainment team are great too, Anis & Tony are great fun. All the amenities are incredible too. Rooms are spacious and plenty of sunbeds. Plenty of choice at all meal times and can always get a table. We need to start to plan our fourth trip now!

We have just come back from a week in Akti Beach. Overall the hotel is on the lower end of 4 stars. The hotel rooms were okay, definitely basic in appearance but had everything we needed and more - small kitchen area with kettle, toaster etc. Our aircon did break towards the end of the holiday, however we didn't really need it as it wasn't too hot this time of year. The lock to our balcony was also broken but as there was no way anyone could access this we were not worried. The food is quite nice, not lots of options compared to other hotels we have stayed in, but enough that we found something we liked. The food did go cold quickly which was a shame. The service is amazing, 5 stars. Staff take your drinks orders continously which saves going to the bar and queuing like other all inclusives. Staff are always happy and helpful and go out of their way to help. The entertainment was good, not really our cup of tea. The entertainment team were great at getting everyone involved. We liked the location, it was quite far from paphos but there is a coastal path that is a lovely walk and takes you all the way to paphos harbour (1 hour 30 min walk). We also used the bolt app to get taxi rides which was about €12-15. There is a beach (venus beach) about a 15 min walk following the path.

Hotel bar staff make this hotel. Sangita I think was her name. Really good service. Anis the entertainer was excellent but the other one was too quiet and slow, needs vroomimg up... Was worried about war situation but was completely OK. Missed speaking greek with staff as most were Eastern european or further, not Cypriot. Shame. Weather hit and miss but mostly warm. Early season so ok. Rooms comfy but cleaners forgot loo rolls twice and we had to chase. Not ideal. Loads of seating area.. loads. Bar staff come to you in bar. Brilliant. Food good. Would we come back. Yes.

Unfortunately we moved to another hotel after 2 days here, because we were so disappointed. So it's only fair to state that up front, my views are based on 2 days. We loved the location and the setting, right on the front, and the coastal path in both directions was lovely. However, we were surprised that the reviews we had read, the supposed star rating and indeed the price, do not accurately reflect what we found. What we were disappointed with: 1. Our room smelled damp. The bedding did not smell freshly laundered, also felt damp ,and was of poor quality. The room had inadequate storage and nowhere comfortable to sit. The bathroom was beyond in need of updating, which has been remarked on by other reviewers so we did expect that. The flush was awkward to use. The small patio space was shabby and had no outlook. 2. There was nowhere comfortable to sit in the evening if you didn't want to listen to the loud music from the bar. Obviously this wouldn't be as much of an issue further into the season when it would be warm enough to sit outside. The reception area with several settees (in need of updating) was featureless and cramped. 3. The All Inclusive offer was very poor. There was very little choice and the food on offer was average at best. Overall, we were surprised at what we experienced, as reviews we had read beforehand promised better. The price difference between here and the hotel we moved to was minimal, yet they were as different as chalk and cheese. Akti is clearly popular with some, but to be fair, the rooms need some attention as a minimum. So disappointed.
