At first it looks like nothing special, but after couple of hours you will appreciate the comfort and the convenience of everything. Located at about twenty minutes walk from the center of the city. The place is quite and calm. The most amazing breakfast I've ever had in eastern Europe!

The system of awarding stars in Czechia is terrible to say the least. Avanti does not deserve 4 stars. I booked it to enjoy the lovely outdoor patio and hot tub overlooking the city. Of course they were renovating it (during the busiest season). They opened Wellness spa with a small jacuzzi instead but sometimes you would enter the spa and they'd be some couple getting intimate in this unsupervised space. Some hygiene issues might come up with this problem I'm guessing. My room was mostly clean but some parts of the shower floor were slimy. You could see the bacteria had built up over a long period of time. Only one of the front desk staff had functional English (yes I know it's not an English speaking country, but it's still usual for staff to have passable English in good hotels in Czechia). The other issue was that the AC barely worked. It was hard to sleep. The front desk staff told me it goes down one degree every thirty minutes. But even after more than 12 hours of running overnight the temperature only dropped 4 degrees C. They insisted it was working but it was not as the controls did not change the strength of the fans. There was no one on maintenance to solve this problem. To their credit, they did offer to switch my room but I doubted it would improve. There were some good things. The breakfast was quite good. The staff were friendly.

stayed here with my teachers and friends for erasmus! We loved this place, especially the bowling part! We also loved the jakuzzi with the perfect view of the city. We had a great time here and the breakfast was great in our opinion. Thank you!

Very good location. Walking distance to restaurants and historic city centre.
They have their own free outdoor parking lot for your car, which is a great advantage.
8th floor rooftop has a sauna and jacuzzi, which was our favorite place :)
Breakfast is quite decent as well.

Unfortunately there was one aspect of this hotel that was a let down on this rating/review.

Last year, I stayed at the sister resort Atlantis and was so impressed with the facilities, I was very happy to discover this branch in the city.

The hotel itself boasts a lot of value for money. The rooms are spacious, relatively clean (maybe had be low season and left for dust) - the free breakfast was excellent with a great selection! Also staying at this hotel you have free access to their rooftop spa.

Its a lowkey spa upstairs with one Finnish sauna and one outdoor jacuzzi - but to be honest thats exactly what me and my guests wanted! We could have paid extra to access the full facility basement spa - but for us on this occasion, it was ideal.

We had to ask for hotel/spa slippers from the reception, robes were in the room. And also extra towels because the ones in the room were dusty.

The big let down for us that affected our experience was the judgemental attitudes from the desk staff.

I am an artist manager and I came with some artists from Brazil. They look different in their appearance and fashion to perhaps the average person in Brno - but especially at a 4* hotel, there should be NO judgement or prejudice, especially towards paying guests.
(I mean, *never* judge a book by is cover anyway people 🧐)

My guests felt uncomfortable because of this. It was a real let down to otherwise a high quality establishment.

Reception staff were extremely unprofessional.

There was a gentleman and a lady on desk. They pointed out that was an error in my booking. I asked how to resolve, and I needed to pay an extra 500czk. This was OK, but what followed really was not.

The staff then went on to accuse me repeatedly me that I had 2 extra children - as another room was checking out the same time as my family/pointing to 2 other kids over. They were were waiting with their own parents. It was incredibly awkward being put in a position to argue some random children are not yours during checkout. Honestly let down what would of been a good stay.

My worst in over 100 ******* bookings.
