The hotel itself is actually quite cute, but the rooms urgently need to be renovated. The bathroom had one of the light bulbs burnt out. The remote control in the room was in terrible condition, and we had to replace the battery. The shower had very little water pressure, and it was quite difficult to take a shower because only a tiny amount of water came out. The toilet seat wasn’t aligned. And the ceiling of the room was moldy, as shown in the photos.

Another extremely important detail is the fact that we stayed six days at this hotel, and the housekeepers cleaned the room only once — and that was because we asked them to. If we hadn’t asked, we would have stayed six days with no cleaning at all, which is unacceptable.

On another day, we needed to wake up early, and breakfast was supposed to be served starting at 7 a.m. We ended up without breakfast because we were waiting for our transfer, and there was no one available to assist us at the restaurant at 7 a.m., nor at the hotel reception. On that day, we were going to request room cleaning, but we couldn’t, because there was no one at the reception at 7 a.m.

And finally, communication was quite difficult because only one employee at the hotel speaks English. Overall, the staff was attentive, but there is one employee who is not friendly at all. I would not recommend this hotel and I would not return under any circumstances.

The overall impression is one of a contest between unclean and unsafe. From the wobbly banister to the exposed plumbing to the damaged light fixtures and the mold around the pool, this hotel is a nightmare. We could not spend a night in this place. Unfortunately we had already paid Jet Blue for the week and were not afforded a refund or credit toward another hotel.

It was by far the most miserable hotel room I’ve ever stayed in. From the very beginning, the experience was disappointing. Starting with check-in, while the staff member was polite and did his best to help, the process was inconvenient. He helped us carry one of our large suitcases upstairs because there was no elevator, which immediately made the place feel outdated and poorly planned.
Upon arriving at the parking area, there were no clear or proper signs directing guests to the hotel lobby. We had to look around and wander before finally figuring out where to go, which was frustrating after a long trip.
The room itself was extremely small and visibly old, with worn fixtures that clearly haven’t been updated in years. On top of that, the water pressure from both the sink and the shower was extremely weak, making basic tasks uncomfortable and unpleasant.
To make matters worse, around 11:30 a.m., someone attempted to gain entry into our room. Thankfully, their key did not work, but the situation was alarming and made us feel unsafe. This incident only added to the overall discomfort of the stay.
Overall, the experience was deeply disappointing and far below expectations. I would not recommend this hotel and would not stay here again.

Rooms are okay, but the service makes up for it. A very nice off grid stay, but yet, you're 2 miles from the center of restaurants and all the noise you want. Surprisingly enough, there is a cigar factory not even 42 walking steps to the right of them, so if you need smokes, don't worry about it, they have tours too. However, just so happen I had already booked my tour at Don Lucas. The pool here is very nice, the hotel.staff is kind, very helpful and the restaurant food is good which is downstairs. They have complimentary breakfast, but be mindful you choose ONE item of thr menu. I am an egg Man, and the omelet with vegetables is sensational, divine, outstanding, get the picture, LOL.. I will stay here again after a few days here, my trip was for a week. Thank you guys, for changing out my.room to a better room, and always smiling. Super helpful.

I had a nice quiet stay at this hotel. Most times it felt like it was just me which was quite relaxing. The restaurant on site also had some good options. There’s not much around the area, so uber or having your own car will come in handy. The staff were very kind and easy to talk to. Unfortunately, my room wasn’t checked up on or maintained as much as I would have liked. I did go to the city for a weekend and was surprised to see that my sheets and towel wasn’t changed at all. Would have loved if my room had more than one towel available. Am wondering if a good solution would be to have signs available to put on the doorknob to let staff know if we are in need of room service? Would make it easier while I’m out and about in case they can’t get to it while I’m there. Other than that, I would still recommend this place to people who aren’t looking for the resort life.

I had a very pleasant stay. Amazingly friendly staff and management. Food was really nice and affordable. Even though it was my first time here you can definitely tell that they are going forward and improving. I prioritize good people and friendliness over small details that can be overlooked.
