The hotel itself is solid but nothing extraordinary. Yet the exceptional service—coupled with the staff's genuine eagerness to make every guest feel truly at ease—rivals or even outshines that of a five-star resort. That's reason enough for me to book my next stay there without hesitation.

I stayed at the Alandino during a short trip to Santo Domingo. The room was very nicely done and the bed was very comfortable. The outdoor cafe/bar is cigar friendly so smoke it if you've got it. Make sure to have a Presidente while your there.

When it comes to comfort, save and enjoy, I am present there and on this occasion they suggested this hotel and it really was an excellent choice. perfect 15 minutes from the airport and all the restaurants are in the center of 4-8 minutes

The location is very centric. Is a very good option for business and staying the night in Santo Domingo. They served superb Dominican traditional breakfast and staff was very helpful. The checkout is at 1pm which is a huge differenciator in this market. It's an excellent option!

Good service, friendly, fast. The air conditioning in the room is very noisy and doesn't cool well; both elevators are out of order.

Overall good, but! I originally booked a suite, when we got the suite we checked everything and the closets had a moldy smell, they had us go to all available suites and they had the same issue. Ended up in a smaller room that was fine. Everyone was really nice and helpful, food and drinks were good and reasonably priced. I will stay again.

I like quiet places. So this hotel fitted my style well, though I needed to put the AC off at night because I could not handle the degree of noise it makes. I know a local who helped me some errands I needed to do. So I cannot talk much about how accessible to services the hotel is. Overall I liked it there and I will likely go back though I like hotels on the malecón for the view they offer.

Nice rooftop bar with cold beer, clean, safe and affordable hotel. Rooms have comfy beds, big bathrooms, and Polar cold AC ❄️ (even in the lobby!!) Hotel staff is cordial, and keep it professional with all guests. I recommmend it!

Objectively speaking, I don't recommend it. There is a ** downstairs, which is quite noisy. There is indeed no hot water for bathing, and the facilities are relatively old. The shower head in my room was broken, the safe box didn’t work and the windows in my room seemed to be broken as I could hear all the noise from the street… there is not gym available ! I wasn’t planning on working out there but I just stopped by to check out the gym facilities and couldn’t believe my eyes. That should not be called a gym! To sum it all up, it was an okay hotel...

Had booking issues due to language barrier. Otherwise pretty okay hotel. Breakfast included was not worth it. Coffee alone was okay….the food was very blah and inconsistent menu due to occupancy. Oh the music at the pool was very very loud. Had to ask the reception desk to turn it down.

Is a great place, the stuff are very nice, i have been going back for several years, great location, not too fancy but nice place. My only suggestion will be make sure everything is working perfectly in the room before checking it I know things may happen but there are things that can be addressed before the guests check in. Good hotel for the price. Nothing extraordinary but serviceable. Super clean rooms and friendly staff members. Location is kind of sketchy but near a main street atleast. My wifi didn't work in my room so I had no television. Would not stay here again but if you're on a budget this is the place.

The hotel needs a major renovation, but rooms are spacious and very clean. View (seaview top floor) is probably the best you can find in SD. Location is great. However, over the weekend parties for locals at the pool run late and a night club on the ground floor even later.

Nice location and quite cheap. Very helpful staff and nice servers at the Terrace. The pool is nice and the terrace has a nice view. Clean rooms. But the ac has only three settings, all of them ice cold, the bathroom fan is super loud, the music by the pool terrace is super loud and there is very little soundproofing. Quite old and a bit worn down. Okay value for money, but nothing more.

They went above and beyond as I arrived early and they accommodated us with early check in was told go have breakfast and your room will be ready in an hour and it was . I would highly recommend.

I like that the hotel is super quiet and the staff is friendly. But I went with my husband in the second floor to dine in the restaurant and the dinner took forever to come. Very good location to explore the Colonial area. Close to the park, entrance of the Conde. Safe, not fancy but good. All the essentials are there . A bit dated, but maintained. The room was very basic, nothing special. We had standard room, for two people it is very small, bathroom is very small, the door of bathroom was broken, so as the shower. They were under construction in the layout of the lights in the room were uncomfortable. You couldn’t turn the lights off and have the fan running so if you turned off the lights, the fan would turn off, which makes no sense. Why wouldn’t the fan be able to run independently from the lights on the other side of the room that was a bother.
