Renaissance Santo Domingo Jaragua Hotel & Casino, Santo Domingo1 / 30
8.7
National district, Santo Domingo, Avenida George Washington 367 🧭 Map
The hotel is divided into two buildings—one offering sea-view rooms in the main tower and the other featuring tranquil garden views
Overall, the Renaissance Santo Domingo Jaragua is a solid option for travelers seeking comfort, great service, and a choice between serene garden settings and impressive sea views
Everything was excellent even i left my passport at room and call hotel from airport to see if they findit and they send a taxi with security from hotel and deliver my passport to airport service was excellent 5 star for me
The staff at the hotel are consistently helpful and professional, always ready to assist with anything you need. One of the standout features of the property is the on-site casino, perfect for guests who enjoy gaming
Overall great experience at this property. Ashley was amazing checking me in. She gave a great rundown of all the amenities and services as well as information about the local night life and best restaurants
The offer water bottles to brush your teeth which is nice for travelers with concerns of local tap water. The pool was amazing, excellent vibe and music. Very nice gym as well… they also have tennis courts available

The hotel environment is super good, right on the beach. The sea view is great, there is a restaurant on the fifth floor, and there is an open-air swimming pool, gym and restaurant on the seventh floor
Breakfast staff very friendly with a variety of items for breakfast. Germayonni , was an excellent hostess at breakfast. Rooms were excellent with a great view of the ocean
Everything at this hotel was incredible! Seriously from the rooms! And the service out of this world. Roxanna especially was the best server
Hotel staff were customer friendly and made the stay a great experience
What really made my stay special, however, was the outstanding service provided by Katerine. She took exceptional care of me with great kindness, attentiveness, and warmth
Jose at the omelette station was great! Totally enjoyed my breakfast every morning! Made a great way to start the day! Definitely will return to this hotel! The ocean view was great! My experience here has been phenomenal!

Sheraton Santo Domingo Hotel, Santo Domingo1 / 30
8.6
National district, Santo Domingo, 365 George Washington Avenue 🧭 Map
La Ciudad Colonial is within walking distance, making it very convenient for shopping for souvenirs and exploring historic sites. There are also plenty of restaurants and casinos nearby, all easily accessible on foot
My wife and I recently stayed at the Sheraton Santo Domingo, located along the Malecón, and we had a very pleasant experience overall. The location is excellent—central to most tourist attractions in the city
The street in front of the hotel can get quite busy, but that’s typical for such a densely populated city. Thankfully, the rooms are well insulated, and outside traffic noise did not disturb our stay
The hotel staff truly stood out. They were very attentive and always greeted us whenever we passed by, which made the stay feel welcoming and personal. I highly recommend upgrading to a Club Room
Overall, it feels like a business hotel with a touch of resort-style comfort, which we really enjoyed. I would definitely stay at the Sheraton Santo Domingo again on future trips to the Dominican Republic
The only downside is that the main dinning area does not offer dinner, but dinner options are available in the lobby area for an additional cost. The hotel also has a nice outdoor pool and a decent gym

Also, Victor, Alexander, and the night and morning managers at the front desk were wonderful! My experience at this hotel in the Dominican Republic was nothing short of amazing! From the moment I arrived, the staff made me feel genuinely welcome and cared for
The front desk managers, morning and night shift, Joel took such good care of us! Even the taxi man, Miguel was so nice and gave me his number to come get me from anywhere! I appreciate all of these people so much for being so kind every interaction
If you’re dining at the Crowne Plaza, definitely ask for Jose — he’ll make sure you have an excellent experience! I also had a wonderful experience with the overnight front desk staff especially Joel and the bellman miguel
Excellent service my entire trip, everybody was extremely welcoming and kind! Jose Manuel made sure that we were satisfied at breakfast and had everything we’d need. The pool was beautiful and had a wonderful view
Every single person — from the front desk to the restaurant team, housekeeping, and concierge — went above and beyond to ensure my stay was perfect. We truly felt like family and were super sad to leave
I am writing this review because the service was so exceptional, I had to share. I visited this hot for the first time and it was AMAZING! Everyone was so helpful. Luis at check in was very pleasant

National district, Santo Domingo, Av Anacaona 101, Esquina Cibao Oeste 🧭 Map
I stayed at this hotel for a week of vacation and had an amazing experience. The staff was incredibly kind, and everything was well organized. Honestly, it was one of the best stays I’ve ever had. I highly recommend it!
I just stayed here and I have to say it was pretty nice I’d come again. The room I stayed in had functional amenities but needs updating. The lobby was very well polished
The food was absolutely fantastic, from my experience. Some of the best beef stew I’ve ever had by a long shot. The waitstaff are very attentive
it is an old hotel. all equipment are old. But it's service is good.
On the other hand, the dinner buffet is very good, with a different theme each night, which kept things interesting and tasty. The hotel could use some maintenance and remodeling, but overall, it's a solid place to stay
We had a good stay at Dominican Fiesta Hotel. The hotel offers a variety of amenities, including a well-equipped gym, pool, steam room, sauna, and jacuzzi, all of which made our stay very enjoyable

The facilities are somewhat old, and the rooms are generally quite average, not worth the price. Breakfast is decent, and the receptionists are generally helpful. There seems to be a gym nearby
I really loved my stay at this place! The service was 10/10, the food was 10/10, the cleanliness was 10/10, the room service was 10/10, they are very attentive to what the guest wants and they act quickly to their wishes…and it is super well located near restaurants, fast foods, malls and supermarkets…so you couldn't ask for more…100/100 recommended this hotel 💪
The Hotel is recently renovated, clean rooms and friendly staff. Would not mind going back. It’s perfect for business trips.
The staff were very friendly, and I was able to enjoy a comfortable stay throughout my stay. However, the cleaning needs improvement. Even after using the cleaning service, there was still a lot of hair on the floor.
The breakfast was delicious, the location was convenient with many restaurants nearby, the room was very quiet, and there was parking available. It's about a 30-minute taxi ride to the airport
This hotel, apart from being beautiful and having an excellent location, is exceptional. The staff's attention is exceptional. Leandro, one of the receptionists, is very kind and very polite

He was my body guard and tour guide. Restaurant and ambiance were excellent. The staff was extremely friendly and outstanding
It has a tasty daily morning buffet for 704 DOP
Hair dryer didn't work, bathtub got stuck had to fix floater. No lights. They came to fix.
The shower head in my room was broken, the safe box didn’t work and the windows in my room seemed to be broken as I could hear all the noise from the street… there is not gym available ! I wasn’t planning on working out there but I just stopped by to check out the gym facilities and couldn’t believe my eyes
My stay stay at this hotel since coming to Santo Domingo but will choose this hotel in the future. They address any issues that came up during my stay.

Our stay at the Billini Hotel was wonderful. The staff was amazing and extremely attentive to our questions and needs. We look forward to our next visit
Special thanks to Leonel for making my arrival from the airport to the hotel smooth and seamless and to Claudia for her great service. The entire concierge staff, wait staff, and cleaning staff were above and beyond
The historic Colonial Zone hotel has a great staff, Quirico & Barbara, to name a few, but they were all very kind and professional. Their amenities and rooms were excellent and clean
But the best part is that you just have to walk three short blocks to right from the front of the hotel, and two blocks up and you will be smack in the middle of Parque Cristóbal!
Very clean room and friendly staff . Breakfast was delicious and recomnd to get room with breakfast.
Water pressure was a bit low. But everything else was wonderful.

I booked a room (last minute) for one night only. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The beds were comfortable and the room was clean. Other than the restaurant at the hotel, there isn’t much to do
The hotel itself is solid but nothing extraordinary. Yet the exceptional service—coupled with the staff's genuine eagerness to make every guest feel truly at ease—rivals or even outshines that of a five-star resort
Wasn't even that far from the referencia for the COVID test. It was a couple of blocks over and they had the result by the evening. Would recommend this place 10 out of 10 times
Great spot, the location is perfect. The breakfast buffet is good too.
I stayed at the Alandino during a short trip to Santo Domingo. The room was very nicely done and the bed was very comfortable. The outdoor cafe/bar is cigar friendly so smoke it if you've got it
Had a good FREE breakfast, rooms were spacious and clean. The restaurant had a good variety of food options and even good desert(Try that coco loco if you get a chance

This is my 5th stay at this hotel, and it continues to provide excellent customer service, and the staff are like family to me because they are awesome. The room is very large, clean and friendly environment
Can't beat this location You just can't beat this location if you want to immerse yourself in the colonial zone for at least a couple of nights
Great staff, great breakfast and room always clean. Super close to everything. Definitely, we would stay again.
The location and breakfast are very good, but the room has bad air conditioning and the humidity is very high.
I look forward to returning to this hotel in the near future
Best value, excellent location in the center of colonial zone. Royal room king size bed very comfortable if you like a soft bed. Balcony is great, specially if you are a smoker. I would stay here again without hesitation

Good place to eat with a wonderful upstairs view on the "Malecon" (good sea view) ... The ratio Price/service could have been better.
All the hotel staff are super nice: Orlando, Sam, Bianca at the reception, and the others. The hotel is located in the Zona Colonial, right on the Malecón, which is perfect if you enjoy jogging or walking by the beach
I reserved the hotel from November 17th to November 22nd. They didn’t have my room, but they gave me a free upgrade! The hotel has everything you need — a restaurant, a pool
Room was clean, staff polite and the best part was the Terrace /Pool/ Bar!! My family really enjoyed. Waitress did an extraordinary service, specially Ms. Iris.

The hotel is nice simple but it has what you need a warm ved and p ace and quiet its definitely for travelers that want to spend a nigh or two close to the colonial zone at a affordable rate the hot water was good and the AC was very strong it’s perfect for backpackers and explorer with a budget a place to sleep while there exploring the city
Its wasn't a good experience with the hotel its was a dirty room the shower wasn't cleaned dirty sheet and the was not the i was expected
Clean and comfortable for the price. Free breakfast included: fresh juice, coffee, eggs with ham and toast. Nice pool area, accessible through the kitchen. Recently raised the rate to $1900 PD
I have been there many times, on occasion staying when ill to attend medical appointments and the staff is always very helpful with bringing me food or cleaning the room quietly as I rest
Right on Avenida Bolivar near Parque Independecia/Telemicro. Can be quite noisy with barking dogs, street noise and construction but this is normal for this part of town
They need to clean the room every day, they don´t do it the bathroom was dirty the breakfast is ok I will try not to go back to this hotel

The only downfall is there is no coffee maker, they should add an extra desk for space. I was there for 11 days, I had to buy a kettle to make my instant coffee. Besides that room service people were super nice
I mean it was technically listed as a balcony room and we didn’t have one but I also didn’t pay any extra money for it. I was sooo glad to find an affordable hotel with hot water and A/C, and the staff were excellent
They went above and beyond as I arrived early and they accommodated us with early check in was told go have breakfast and your room will be ready in an hour and it was . I would highly recommend.
Stayed here from December 31st - January 4, 2025. There is a restaurant next to it. Parking is free and the attendants are helpful. Service is quick to respond to some issues.
Valet parking, daily house keeping, food restaurant although not inside the hotel, but next door. We spent some of our days inside the room with no problem
Room was clean but I didn’t get the balcony. They didn’t offer it to me and I did notice when I was leaving the hotel

The bedroom was spacious, but was missing plug outlets. There is a hole on the wall for an outlet installation. The side lamps by the beds are missing outlets
Stayed there while on a mission trip. This is not a resort type of hotel. Good food, good rooms. It was everything that we needed.
One can plug your phone from the outlet behind the tv or the mini fridge in the room
My only suggestion will be make sure everything is working perfectly in the room before checking it I know things may happen but there are things that can be addressed before the guests check in
Everything clean, the employees nice , the property nice and clean, the pool excellent.
Had booking issues due to language barrier. Breakfast included was not worth it. the food was very blah and inconsistent menu due to occupancy. Oh the music at the pool was very very loud

The people are nice. The room could have been better. Little hot water and the best was to hard. Also, the room could have benefit from a chair or somewhere to sit.
Great hotel verypolite staff will definitely go back again.
I enjoy the breakfast which is served at La Marchanta restaurant at Colon Park
Rooms as advertised clean , well equipped . Location great you can walk to many stores and restaurants. Some less than 20 yards from door

- Taxi stand is at the same street - Nice, spacious outdoor, sitting area - A personal fridge in the room Cons: -A bit noisy from the road/a bar until around midnight. - Shower is not really hot (only slightly warm)
- Breakfast is simple but good enough: toast with cheese and ham, coffee and a boiled egg. -Spacious and clean room, friendly staff, can refill drinking water. -500m walking to the gate of the colonial area
Pro: -safe area even at night, because just beside the militery area of the presidential palace, even at 10pm there is still a grocery open

Christopher was absolutely a joy and went above and beyond with helping us learn Spanish and just ensuring that we were comfortable
The hotel stay was okay overall, but there were several major issues that impacted my experience: 1. The shower door did not close properly and had to be lifted and forced shut each time

Awesome location for walking around the colonial city. Staff in hotel and restaurant below very friendly. Restaurant on street level great place for a meal or to sit and people watch. Lots of lovely street entertainment
Staff are friendly and helpful. The rooms we're what we expected. With the location comes the noise; especially weekends and at 7:30am with the leaf blowers. We expected that and so therefore had no problems with it
Will not hesitate to stay at this wonderful hotel again. Beautiful area and very central. Restaurant was really good value and excellent food. Staff were professional and friendly
Rooms with balconies offer amazing views. Our only surprise was how thin the walls are. We could easily hear our neighbors in rooms next door
Definitely a hotel we will recommend to others

We picked this property because it was in the heart of places we wanted to see and we could walk to. Traffic was horrific, but I was able to manage with our car and we were able to parallel park very close every time
Even though the area might look a little sketchy, for someone new to traveling outside the US, we didn't have any damage done to our car and felt very safe walking around in the daytime
We were in our rooms most nights as it got dark, the street noise does quiet down as it gets later, and the other guests were very respectful with their noise levels
The rooms were small, but for the price and the free breakfast, it was easy to get over it. You get what you pay for, a place to sleep and breakfast in the morning
There is a restaurant right across the street that has great food and there is a market on the other corner
The hotel is central to almost every major tourist site. The receptionists have good customer service
