I loved this hotel, but the platform charged me a hefty fee, $30 more than booking directly with the hotel. Please be aware of this.

The environment is great. The fifth floor is the executive lounge, which offers breakfast and snacks, perfect for grabbing a bite to eat on your way home from work. The Jacuzzi in the room is also fantastic, a great way to unwind after a long day. The pool is nice too, but unfortunately I didn't have time to swim.

Compared to other hotels, the price-performance ratio is quite good. Aside from the constant knocking on the door and the average breakfast, everything else is fine.

The bed is the most highly recommended feature. It's very soft, and lying in it feels like being enveloped in a blanket; I even fell asleep while wearing a face mask. The best value hotel in Santo Domingo. The park is beautiful, the food is good, and the hotel rooms are quite large. Suitable for a stopover during a vacation. You can buy a lot of cigars, but the city traffic is a bit congested.

The hotel grounds were clean and the staff was courteous. Staff waits in the parking lot with an umbrella on rainy days for guests when they exit their cars. The room fridge had no amenities. I had to call front desk one day to report that the room still had not been cleaned at 5pm.

Rooms don’t open so it’s impossible to get outside fresh air and change the one from inside the room. The pool instead of being a quiet place where to relax it’s a disco with a DJ that blasts the music at very high volume. I asked to lower it a bit down. The people at the bar and the DJ rolled their eyes, lowered it for a minute and then they raised the volume once again.

The historic Colonial Zone hotel has a great staff, Quirico & Barbara, to name a few, but they were all very kind and professional. Their amenities and rooms were excellent and clean. But the best part is that you just have to walk three short blocks to right from the front of the hotel, and two blocks up and you will be smack in the middle of Parque Cristóbal!

I stayed at the Alandino during a short trip to Santo Domingo. The room was very nicely done and the bed was very comfortable. The outdoor cafe/bar is cigar friendly so smoke it if you've got it. Make sure to have a Presidente while your there.

Plenty of food, and a fantastic location.

The breakfast was delicious, the location was convenient with many restaurants nearby, the room was very quiet, and there was parking available. It's about a 30-minute taxi ride to the airport. The most beautiful part was the Caribbean coast; its grandeur and beauty are indescribable. A very satisfying business trip.

Amazing hospitality all around! The only issue was the lounge on the 8th floor—it seemed understaffed and focused mainly on serving large groups. I had to get up and seek out service myself, which wasn’t ideal. That was the only downside to an otherwise excellent experience.

Overall good, but! I originally booked a suite, when we got the suite we checked everything and the closets had a moldy smell, they had us go to all available suites and they had the same issue. I like quiet places. So this hotel fitted my style well, though I needed to put the AC off at night because I could not handle the degree of noise it makes. I know a local who helped me some errands I needed to do. So I cannot talk much about how accessible to services the hotel is. Overall I liked it there and I will likely go back though I like hotels on the malecón for the view they offer.

Is a great place, the stuff are very nice, i have been going back for several years, great location, not too fancy but nice place.
