2 star hotels in National district

Hi.. I booked 4 rooms for a family trip.. the staff are friendly, but The rooms need some work… the bathroom doors were hard to open or close since they are slide doors… also some tv’s we’re working others not… we stood one night and I don’t recommend if you need privacy…

The soundproofing of the hotel is so poor that I was woken up several times in the middle of the night. Looking at the pictures, I thought it was fine, but it turned out to be completely different. This hotel cannot be called a hotel in China. Apart from the cleanliness, it is not even as good as the hotels next to domestic train stations.

I like everything around it, like food, salon, stores, cab service, and pleasant staff.

Place is good to stay short term. Not as fancy but it does the job. It provides all the basics to be comfortable

The current establishment is satisfactory, but an upgrade to a three-star or four-star hotel is necessary to advance in the competition.

Had booking issues due to language barrier. Otherwise pretty okay hotel. Breakfast included was not worth it. Coffee alone was okay….the food was very blah and inconsistent menu due to occupancy. Oh the music at the pool was very very loud. Had to ask the reception desk to turn it down.

Is a great place, the stuff are very nice, i have been going back for several years, great location, not too fancy but nice place. My only suggestion will be make sure everything is working perfectly in the room before checking it I know things may happen but there are things that can be addressed before the guests check in. After this this is solve I will give 5 stars

This hotel has everything that a big hotel has. The pool is nice, open kitchen, parking inside, security system, hot water, and the terrace is the most exciting place with music and beverage at a good price. Come to see it. Price is between 30 to 40 dollars depending on the kind of room. Great place to stay for a couple days or large stay.

Cheap and decent are the two words I would use to describe hotel gazcue. Located in gazcue, it gives you easy access to zone colonial. Also the Malecon is not far away. The rooms are okay, there's a tv, bed, etc. There are much better alternatives, but if you're looking to save a few bucks and you don't mind staying in a 3 star spot by all means go for it. It's clean and the staff is really nice.

One of the best guest houses that I've been in. Very competitive prices. Very kind and helpful staff. Very clean. the rooms are being cleaned every single day and the bath towels replenished every single day by a kind cleaning lady. Place has potential, cheap price and in a great location; however, it needs some work. Our sheets had to be changed after check in, bath did not have water pressure. They did mention that they are still remodeling so it may be better with time. Update: The manager refunded us our money without asking due to the issues.

Economic to stay one night but I think they are too expensive for the stuff inside the reefer ( water, juice, beers , etc..) and they were charging for 2 waters that I didn’t consume.

Overall good, but! I originally booked a suite, when we got the suite we checked everything and the closets had a moldy smell, they had us go to all available suites and they had the same issue. I like quiet places. So this hotel fitted my style well, though I needed to put the AC off at night because I could not handle the degree of noise it makes. I know a local who helped me some errands I needed to do. So I cannot talk much about how accessible to services the hotel is. Overall I liked it there and I will likely go back though I like hotels on the malecón for the view they offer.

I stayed at the Alandino during a short trip to Santo Domingo. The room was very nicely done and the bed was very comfortable. The outdoor cafe/bar is cigar friendly so smoke it if you've got it. Make sure to have a Presidente while your there.

When it comes to comfort, save and enjoy, I am present there and on this occasion they suggested this hotel and it really was an excellent choice. perfect 15 minutes from the airport and all the restaurants are in the center of 4-8 minutes

The location is very centric. Is a very good option for business and staying the night in Santo Domingo. They served superb Dominican traditional breakfast and staff was very helpful. The checkout is at 1pm which is a huge differenciator in this market. It's an excellent option!

The hotel needs a major renovation, but rooms are spacious and very clean. View (seaview top floor) is probably the best you can find in SD. Location is great. However, over the weekend parties for locals at the pool run late and a night club on the ground floor even later.

But the ac has only three settings, all of them ice cold, the bathroom fan is super loud, the music by the pool terrace is super loud and there is very little soundproofing. They were under construction in the layout of the lights in the room were uncomfortable. You couldn’t turn the lights off and have the fan running so if you turned off the lights, the fan would turn off, which makes no sense. Why wouldn’t the fan be able to run independently from the lights on the other side of the room that was a bother.

Location was great. Room was clean and comfortable. Staff was helpful and polite. Bathroom a bit small and our 2nd floor room next to the plaza may be too noisy for some, but fine with us. We actually enjoyed the music.

The facility is well placed and n a central and crowdy place. Guests will feel safe and can take advantage of numerous attractions in the neighborhood. Perfect place lace for a leisure stay.

The place is very clean, though the street is quite busy and you can hear music from outside. There’s no elevator, but the staff is extremely friendly.

It’s in Zona near Ballittini Hotel and The Large Church. It has a nice quiet traditional vibe. My room 14, was small but it was cleaned everyday. AC , ceiling fan and TV all worked. No condiments given except one roll of toilet paper and one towel which is not changed daily. Breakfast was Traditional American or Traditional Dominican. The Fresh Juice was good.
