Nice hotel for the price. Note that 24 hour shuttle advertised in ******* is NOT free. This was not disclosed to us until we arrived at the airport. This may be more an issue of ******* than the hotel.

They did not change any bath towels, and the AC was not working on the first day. They changed the room, but there were no bath towels in the second room either. Breakfast was very poor, and they did not provide any water bottles.

This historic hotel is a bit dated but that's the whole point of a historic landmark! The rooms are super spacious and clean. The staff was professional and warm. This hotel is on Duarte and El Conde, which is where the tourists action is! Great value for the price. If I could give feedback to Management, it would be to deodorize the entire property so it won't smell old. I only say that because that's a turn off for most tourist.

This hotel was amazing, the staff was great. Everything was clean and very comfortable. The hotel is located in a safe place and it was near a variety of museums and many places to eat. I would definitely stay here again!

I had the absolute pleasure of staying at **Boutique Hotel Palacio**, and it truly was the trip of a lifetime. The hotel is perfectly located in the heart of the Colonial Zone—just steps away from historic landmarks, restaurants, shops, and everything else you could want to explore. The location couldn't be better!

From the moment I arrived, I felt completely safe and well taken care of. The entire hotel is exceptionally clean, and my room was serviced daily to a high standard. The architecture and interior design are stunning, blending classic charm with modern comfort.

Every morning started with a delicious free breakfast, and the entire staff went above and beyond to make my stay special. I want to give a special shoutout to **Ledia, Abdias, Jose, and Luis**—they were all incredibly friendly, helpful, and made me feel right at home.

Without a doubt, I’ll be staying at Boutique Hotel Palacio every time I visit Santo Domingo. Highly recommended to anyone looking for a comfortable, beautiful, and centrally located place to stay!

This is my second time staying at this hotel, and once again, it was an amazing experience. The first time I came, I got engaged — and the second time, I got married. This place truly holds a special meaning for me. The staff is incredibly friendly, and the service is always excellent. I’ll definitely stay here every time I visit the Dominican Republic. A mainstay of the Zona Colonial, its perfect location attracts all kinds of people. While it really attempts to lure locals with its menu, the fare is from average to good, and its clientele is mostly tourists. That explains why the menu is overpriced. However, for people watching it's really superb.

Busy cafeteria on a great corner for people watching. Food was more expensive than we thought and the waiter forgot part of our order. You can get a traditional Dominican breakfast here . Service can take a while.

Pollo Rey in any other place is ok, but this one, particularly, is beyond awful. The staff was not friendly at all. The tender from the sandwich I ate was salty and looked pretty much like some alien sort of thing. Also, the bathroom was dirty and disgusting. I was surprised they offered such a terrible service, because I have been to other Pollo Rey establishments and they have been nothing like this one.
