Amoun Hotel in Alexandria

Rooms are very small and old , and not ready with the daily bases like shower with hot water in winter.

The rooms are not very well isolated from crowd outside ( they could modify the windows by some isolation)

The location is inside crowded area.

Staff is not friendly at all

I don’t recommend this place at all

Unfortunately, my stay at this hotel was extremely disappointing and did not meet my expectations at all. The room was not clean (the fridge was dirty and the blankets had no covers), the air conditioning was leaking, and there was constant noise, making it impossible to relax.

The biggest issue was that I had no internet connection for almost the entire week. Despite reporting it multiple times, I was repeatedly told that “it’s my phone” and that “they will check it tomorrow,” which went on day after day. At some point it worked briefly and then stopped again, so I had to rely on my own mobile data.
The only person who genuinely helped me during my stay was the guest service lady — she was excellent.

Additionally, when I asked for just one extra hour before checkout, I was told it wasn’t possible — yet I was offered to “extend for a whole extra day.” They also had their booking system open even though there was no availability and asked me not to make any online reservation.

I would not return and cannot recommend this hotel, as the overall experience was far below what a guest pays for.

Unfriendly staff, no water in the room, one towel for both of us., no toilet paper.
Booked 4 nights and checked out after one night 🥵
