Royal Sea View in Alexandria

I booked four rooms through the Wego platform, but upon arrival the receptionist said there was no booking. After nearly two hours of calls and WhatsApp messages, the booking was finally confirmed. The rooms were in very poor condition: faulty locks, no heater or inverter, old blankets, unacceptable breakfast, broken lobby ceilings, and very poor lighting. There were no other guests in the hotel.

The photos on the booking app show the hotel in good condition, but the reality is completely different. I strongly do not recommend to use Wego platform and booking this hotel.

I stayed in this hotel for three days, let me tell you that I will never recommend it for anybody, the place is so dirty no cleaning at all, the staff is not qualified to manage such a place, I am wondering where is the tourisn authority why leaving such a beatiful hotel without any monitoring or visit ? for example, I requested towels, for two days NO Response and no even a simple apologies ! except for the sea view everything is really bad.

We were very disappointed with our stay at this hotel. The overall condition of the property fell far below expectations—from the lobby to the rooms and other facilities. Exposed electrical wiring was visible in the ceilings, there was no air conditioning in the lobby, and Wi-Fi was only available in that area. Cleanliness was also a major issue, with dust and signs of neglect throughout the premises.
It’s evident that the hotel is still undergoing renovation, and it would have been more appropriate to complete these works before opening to guests.

The only positive aspect was the direct access to the beach, which is convenient.

Based on our experience, we would strongly recommend considering other accommodations if you’re looking to truly enjoy your vacation.

The place was very disappointing to my expectations... Starting with the staff who do not have any level of professionalism in dealing with guests. Elevators are in a deplorable condition. The furniture and decorations in the reception and rooms are dilapidated. Room service is almost non-existent.. The food is not good even inside the restaurant.. Shisha is served near the restaurant, which makes the smell of the restaurant completely unacceptable. The swimming pool is very small and not suitable for the number of guests... let alone those coming for day use... The beach is not clean.. The garage is not operational...and the leading roads are terrible and parking is not reliable...

Wonderful view from the balcony. But the room was already in a ruined state, screaming music made it difficult to sleep until 3 am. The staff and the hotel are designed for the Egyptian public, we Russians were the only ones there. The staff is friendly

Terrible place to lounge. First, i was duped in paying $65 per night which was 4000+ egyptian pounds. The services were poor, poor food with the same taste everyday. The location was terrible. I went there because it was my first time in Egypt. It only has a good view. I would not recommend this place for my enemy.

It's almost impossible to reach the hotel and the staff are just terrible, they treated me like i was asking them for money

Only the service was great. All facility need service and maintenance .. no wifi just on reception area and slow carrier network coverage zero . The reception and welcome and all employees are great 👍
