I had a wonderful stay at Cecilia Hostel!
The location is perfect, right in downtown Cairo and close to everything — museums, the Nile, restaurants, and public transportation. It made exploring the city very easy.
The room was clean and comfortable, and the bed was very cozy. Breakfast was simple but fresh and enough to start the day well.
What truly made the experience special was the friendly and helpful staff. They were always smiling, ready to assist with tours, directions, and recommendations.
Great value for money. I highly recommend this place and would definitely stay here again!

My 3 night stay was great. The staff there were so friendly and helpful. Location is great. Room was good. Some street noise at night but it didn't bother me. I'd stay there again.

I have stayed at Cecilia house multiple times for quick stays. Good price for the location, friendly staff and safe. Better to get the private room if it is your budget.

What the hell is this place? They told me it was renovated in '25? This building is at least 30 years old, a total dump. Even the staff admitted it's ancient, so what's the point of claiming a '25 renovation?
They advertised private bathrooms, but mine was several meters away, at the very end of the hallway. What's the logic in that? It's just annoying! And there's nowhere in the bathroom to put clean clothes – how am I supposed to shower? The showering facilities are all makeshift pipes, no proper bathroom amenities whatsoever. The room was so tiny it didn't even have a nightstand or a desk. The sheets were filthy, and the duvet wasn't even properly covered. The towels were yellowed.
Breakfast was an absolute disaster. Why is this place so expensive? Seriously, fellow Chinese travelers, save yourselves the trouble and run!

The staffs were extremely friendly, they greeted every customer every morning with a smile. The breakfast was free and tea, coffee and juice were being served. It was at the top floor, the view of old Cairo in a panorama view of the city. The pigeons were a great decor and kept guests company on the terrace lounge.

Stayed for three days, and the scenery in Greece is truly breathtaking. Just a short walk brings you to the famous cliff attractions, it's incredibly dreamy and therapeutic! If I ever need to, I'll definitely come back. The staff were very enthusiastic, and laundry service was free.

This hotel was distinguished by features rarely found in hotels, namely the owner's commitment to a warm, family-like atmosphere. We lived there as one family, all having fun and helping each other. I made friends from many countries.
