Located in a calm and pleasant neighbourhood in Luxor's west bank, the El Nakhil Hotel is a good find where one can stretch their legs and relax well after a tiring tour to the nearby places. The hotel reception has got a huge collection of books in English, German and French where one can indulge in them, while feeling bored in the hotel room. The staffs are attentive and helpful; the room is clean and spacious and the swimming pool is an icing on top of the cake. The restaurant is located in the upstairs which offers good food options from vegetarian, western to Egyptian. I highly recommend this hotel for those who plan to stay in Luxor.

Although the building was a bit old, it was well-cleaned and maintained, making it very tidy. The shower had no issues with hot water, which was very comfortable. The hotel restaurant was open for dinner, and since I was tired on the first night, I decided to eat there. The food was incredibly delicious! It was so good that I ended up canceling my plans to go out on the second night and ate at the hotel restaurant again. If I had to nitpick, the breakfast portion was a bit small, but it was acceptable.

Everything was wonderful! The staff is incredibly friendly, especially Youssef and Abdallah. The courtyard is beautifully maintained, and you can see how much care goes into keeping it nice. The hotel also has a pool with sun loungers available for guests, which is perfect after a day of exploring.
Ferry port is just a few minutes walk from the hotel.
Highly recommended for a stay in Luxor.

Everything was great! The hotel is very clean. It has a swimming pool. Also it has a restaurant on the roof. The food in restaurant is perfect, very good! People on the reception and in restaurant are very kind

This was my first favorite accommodation during my trip to Egypt. The owner and all the staff were incredibly friendly, and I'll definitely be staying here again next time I visit. If you ask the owner, they'll arrange a balloon tour, Luxor, or Xian for a reasonable fee. Even if you're late for photo shoots, they'll wait for you until late and safely escort you back to the hotel. I can't say enough about this hotel's excellence. I highly recommend it. I hope it prospers! ^^

It's on the west side of the Nile, but it's very close to the ferry terminal, so it's convenient. There's a nice pool, too. It's a great place to relax.

Nice, spacious, very clean room and bathroom. Very nice employees. The garden is very well kept and soothing. It's 5mins walking to the ferry port, so easy to get to the East Luxor. The restaurant on the rooftop is very good. My husband had the chicken curry and he said it's the best dish he had in Egypt. Also they offer very good price for laundry. Wifi works great for us. The pool is good too. And the price is unbeatable.

Extremely pleasant hotel with great attention to detail.
The decoration is thoughtful and creates a warm, comfortable, and relaxing atmosphere both in the rooms and in the public areas. The staff is kind, attentive, and truly dedicated to making your stay as enjoyable as possible. The restaurant offers a diverse menu, and the food is perfectly cooked. The hotel genuinely cares about its guests. It’s a peaceful place, ideally located near historical sites, which makes the experience even more enjoyable.
I highly recommend this hotel – a perfect place to stay in Luxor!
