The staff at the Nile Compound are the best. They are very welcoming and they provide really good service.

The property itself is huge with loads of beautiful decorations. The view at the Nile is excellent. A really relaxing place with good vibes.

Very nice hotel, give me some huge room larger than my own apartment in hometown. My two kids like the hotel and the room and the sweet swimming pool. The manager is extremely helpful, find me a tutu car to the port and arrange the small boat to Luxor temple in alignment. very nice people, on the way kids see goat and cattle and banana tree, though in village transport not very convenient, but all other good points make up all. worth it, thank u

Located on the west bank of the Nile, in a remote location, it is completely a farmyard. It is difficult to get a taxi. The airport pick-up costs 20 US dollars, which is more expensive than taking a taxi. I asked the hotel manager if he could take me to the Valley of the Kings, and he said it would cost 60 US dollars! Later I called a taxi myself and bargained for 250 Egyptian pounds (about 5 US dollars). The prayers rang until 12 o'clock at night, and again at 3 o'clock in the morning, which made me sleep poorly all night! I will never stay in such a hotel again.

I must say that the hotel is really clean and warm, and you can sit down and make breakfast for us even if you haven't had breakfast yet. Although the location is a bit remote, the whole courtyard is really warm and clean, and the staff are very polite and professional. There are boys sweeping the floor every day, and they will stop when they see guests passing by, and continue after they pass by. It is really a thoughtful hotel.

Every service staff is very nice, but it is really not recommended to live in the West Bank. The transportation here is very inconvenient. This homestay is in a desolate village. I was very scared on the way to the taxi. There was nothing around. I wanted to take a taxi to the port to take a boat, but no one took the order. I had to walk out. Many local villagers asked me along the way, but I didn't dare to talk to them. It was obviously different to take a boat to the East Bank. It was also very inconvenient to take a taxi back after the sun set at 5 o'clock. Many drivers were unwilling to cross the bridge and asked for a very high price. It is really not recommended to live in the West Bank. You need to go back very early, but in fact, the Nile River in Luxor is very lively at 11 o'clock at night

This is the first time I have encountered a hotel that charges extra on the spot. I was not allowed to stay if I didn't give it to me. The place is very cheap and the environment is very bad. Although Ctrip handled it for me later, I must avoid this hotel

We had an awesome time during our stay at the beautiful nile compound in Luxor. Ingrid and Mahmoud are just the perfect hosts and offer great hospitality, cozy interior, good service and the little extra to your pleasant vacation. Since Mahmoud is a native Luxorian he knows all famous and also hidden places you want to visit. Thank you - we will come back - soon!
